The bathrooms are clean and the walking trail is nice. Grass can be a little muddy sometimes though. You can also watch the ducks swim or sometimes catch a view of a couple getting married at the Community Center. As I am a stickler for parking, if the park is busy, as it has been since it's summer and Washington has been getting it's 10 sunny days out of 365, people are out and about and grillin' n chillin'. So, the parking lot lately has been full, so you have to park in the grass directly behind the regular parking spaces. As mentioned, the grass can be muddy so if your car has a tendency to get stuck, you may not want to chance the grass. Overall, it's a great place to bring a lawn chair or a blanket and just relax.

The guide immediately asked his clients to reel up. Our fish got tangled up in one of the lines and he immediately cut that line so that we were able to get the fish in. We have finished at buoy 10 for many years and run into similar situations several time and the guide was unwilling to pull their lines from the water to help out a fellow fisherman, resulting in a lost fish. Curtis didn't bat an eye and rather than canceling the trip he approached it with can do attitude "Lets GO"! We had 3 adults and 3 "kids" 10, 14, and 14. Curtis was professional, courteous, and friendly. It was a great trip. We limited out and enjoyed the day regardless of the conditions. As someone who has worked in the boat industry, I can attest to the quality, maintenance, performance, and attention to detail Curtis has put into his boat. This is such a great place for littles and for adults! It was my family's first visit and it did…read morenot disappoint. They had everything from farm animals (like goats, sheep's, llamas) to exotic animals (like a zebra, kangaroo and a camel), to u-fishing, and to 1/4 mile hike. There really was so many things to do. You could easily spend almost the day there. My husband, 3 year old, and 22 month loved it and all were sad to leave for different reasons. My husband wanted to stay longer because he wanted to fish more, my 3 year old daughter wanted to hug and pet the goats, and my 22 month old son wanted to drive the toddler McLaren car. Unfortunately, it was I who wanted to leave because I had a killer migraine. Suffice to say, we will return on a day where I don't have an all-day migraine so that I have the energy to push my toddler in that car. Parking is plentiful and is free. Restrooms are portapotties. Bring your own lunch and enjoy your time with family!

Well maintained with porta potty and access to a limited area for fishing. Parking is limited on their lot but fishing can be none to excellent if the salmon are returning to spawn. If the salmon are returning, there will be combat style fishing (shoulder to shoulder) fishing.... They have a disabled access fishing spot just above Finch creek only if you are wheelchair bound and have a permit to fish. Saw quite a number of fisher people - mostly gear fishing - a few fly anglers. Direct access to the water from the stairs but since the water is cold, chest waders are the only way people are accessing the waters to fish. You can not fish from the edge of the walkway - you have to get in the water to wade and fish. I saw some newbies enter the area with shorts and tennis shoes expecting to fish but when they saw the other anglers with chest waders, wading boots, and hip waders; they decided to leave after trying the water out with their bare legs! So funny to see Washingtonians not know about the fishing conditions in their home state. Even as a visitor, I already knew this and had brought my waders and boots along.....
