After explaining the situation, the woman who answered the phone told me to bring it right in. When I arrived, Matthew was at the desk and immediately said he'd take care of it--he even offered to have the woman I spoke to earlier drive me home if needed. Despite being clearly busy, they had my car fixed within an hour and a half that same day. I'm 7 months pregnant and was feeling overwhelmed, but Matthew's kindness and calm demeanor truly meant the world to me. He could tell I was stressed (even I know he was probably stressed himself with the busyness of the shop) and went above and beyond to help. The pricing was fantastic, and the service was even better. I'm so grateful and appreciative--and I'll absolutely be a lifelong customer from here on out. I cannot recommend them enough. Please do yourself a favor and come here. I've gone to several car repair shops in Charlottesville and not once have had such an all around great experience like this. I can't thank them all enough and specially Matthew for turning my day around!

Their work ethic and honesty truly speaks for itself! Thank you so much, Matt!

The owner Joe inspected my daughter's car with heat not working. After an inspection it was determined the water pump was going out and thankfully did not drop all the fluid on the road. Joe gave an estimate on repairs and timetable. The car was ready on time and within budget. The heat now works. The repair cost was well below that of a dealer. I talked to Joe to wrap up everything and I found him to be ethical and trusted. A rarity these days for mechanics. He let the car stay an extra day at his shop with a winter storm. Totally recommend Peacock Auto Service. 5 Stars!

The battery had died and they recharged it and gave me a call right away, and assured me they checked other systems to be sure there were no errors. On the way out to jump the car, the employee who was assisting me said yeah that is Mr X's car and it's a "piece of junk" speaking of my fathers vehicle. I said, "Excuse me?" He reiterated that it was junk and that it needed lots of repairs. First, that is rude. Second it does need a couple of things but it is actually a decent vehicle. An employee should never say that to a customer. Most importantly you jerk, my father died last week.
