The employees are extremely aggressive. I'm aware that they receive commission, and it's very obvious with how much they try to make me buy while I'm there. They will load up my fitting room with extra clothes in the hopes that I will spend the extra money. Buckle even had the nerve to call me on my personal cell phone at 10am on a Monday morning while I was at work just to "tell me the current deals they have going on". They called me twice and I firmly told them to stop contacting me via cell phone. I get the emails, I don't have time to be getting calls that disrupt me at work. You can be sure that I am done shopping there due to the ridiculous prices and the aggressive sales workers. Buckle really needs to step up their game and lay off their customers.

Today I was walking by and saw a cute top in the window display so I had to stop by. I walked in and I was very surprised by the store. I had always assumed it's a store for teenyboppers but the styles looked old and weird. The only desirable item I saw was a free people dress. I looked all over and did not see the pretty shirt from the window. I don't think I was in the store longer than 3-4 minutes. Their styles are not for me at all.

I've been shopping at Ann Taylor for years now - used to go to the one in Arsenal mall in Watertown before they closed. Now I go to this one although I feel sometimes that the prices are a bit higher here because it is in the Chestnut hill mall which is an upscale mall. There is also a Loft store in this mall and I like that store as well. Today I went to the store to return some clothes that I bought online during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping spree. Service was great, the lady who helped me at the register was great and processed all the returns no problem- very easy. One thing to remember is that it's a 30 day return unlike some other stores that give you longer to return items. Overall like this store and especially the service!

Sean was a very helpful and attentive salesman. He let me know this particular style ran big and surmised that the boots that would fit me would be a half size smaller than usual. He was right. They didn't have the copper color in stock but once I ascertained my correct size and fit, Sean ordered them for me. They arrived at my door in just a few short days. I have been wearing them around the house for the past two days but honestly, they are extremely comfortable. It seems no break-in period needed as is the case with some boots in general and some western boots in particular. Tecovas will shine/polish the boots for free any time you're in the store. They also will etch them for free with my initials or another of their designs if I so desire. The journey is not in on this option yet. They also offer to stretch them for you if they need it. Fortunately mine do not. I am thrilled with my new boots. How many pairs of western style boots are too much? I don't know the answer to that yet. ;-) Thank you Sean and Tecovas.

The employees who work here, specifically one of the managers (whose name I should definitely remember after talking with her so often) are incredibly nice and offer thoughtful suggestions. There's none of that pressure to buy more and more, and definitely not an air of pretentious. I hope when Fred Perry finally makes it to SF the staff will live up to the same standards.

I went in on the last day of a sale, where there was lots of stuff I like, but I'm a pretty typical size so it seemed like everything left was way too big. Not only did the girls working there dig all through the back to see if they had anything left over in my size on sale, but they also pointed out that the extra-small slim-fit men's shirts actually fit smaller women pretty well. I would have never guessed, but yeah, if you're built like a 14-year-old boy you won't be left looking like you're wearing a tent or your brother's cast-offs. Fab.
