Recently my new Telluride was hit in the right front by a car being driven on the shoulder to pass…read morestopped traffic. That evening when I reported it to my insurance company they tried to send me to a national body shop chain known for working cheap but doing work that is poor and sometimes dangerous. Some years ago I had work done by AutoTech Collision on Delsea Drive and they did an excellent job so I insisted on taking my Telluride there. Dean Sr. and his sons not only did a great job on my car, they helped me understand how insurance companies work today. Trust me, if your car has been damaged, that is critical to know. AutoTech either handled all that stuff or coached me so I made no mistakes. I got my car back last week and it looks and drives just like it was before the accident. Actually, maybe a little better because I think AutoTech detailed the whole car, not just the RF. The steering wheel is straight, the car tracks properly, it looks new and, most importantly in today's world, all the complex electronics work. I highly recommend Autotech Collision.

This review is not regarding quality of work, but more regarding estimates. I had an incident with…read morea new vehicle. I found Autotech decided to give them a call given that their reviews were outstanding. During the call I explained what had happened and one of the first things that came out of their mouth was "if you are looking for cheap...". Obviously I wanted the a job done the right way and for the vehicle to look new again so still entertained their services. I explained I planned to pay out of pocket as I thought it wouldn't be out of this world even for decent dent with scratched along the front passenger door. I went through the process of shooting the pictures and submitting them through their platform. I get a call back from them and when they said they needed to replace the whole door, my jaw dropped. The door was fully operational, window came up and down, the sensor for the bling spot came on timely, mirror was intact, the speaker working and spacing between the front panel and the door was not to large nor small. The dent was at the bottom of the door and half of the damage was a part made out of plastic at the bottom of the door. The gentleman that called me said I was going to "spend well beyond $5,000, more like $8,000 or $9,000 and probably $10,000". My heart dropped and as the conversation previous about it not being cheap put me in doubt about out-of-pocket I engaged the insurance even before getting the "guestimate" of anywhere between $8,000 to $10,000. My insurance quoted the work at $1,500 which usually insurances low ball, but usually there wouldn't be a difference of $8,500 as a max. I asked what were the next steps to get an official quote since they only had seen pictures and thought they needed to see it in-person. He said I don't give official quotes. You bring it in we disassemble and let the insurance know what the real cost is. I would be out of a car for potentially several months and would use all my rental allowance and more. As I usually like to keep vendors/contractors honest I always go for several other quotes. To find 2 other places with great reviews and word from a friend who put his more than $100k car in the hands of a specific shop that was incredibly lower than Autotech. I also ran the pictures through several AI models who yielded results with cost very similar to the 2 other shops who quoted me. The one the AI models said that anything above $5,000 should be challenged and that even with a door replacement it should be remotely close to $8,000. So the 1 start review is for not seeing the car personally to do a better assessment rather than solely pictures, for not offering an actual quote at the best of their abilities as other shops who always give the disclaimer "it may be more once we formally look into it" but at least a ballpark that makes sense. Also, the first appointment to leave the car was weeks after. In the end I decided to go with a shop that was certified for the make and model of my car and also had a relationship with the dealership I bought my car from. They took my car in the same day I brought it to be assessed. I only used 3 weeks of my rental allowance and costed $4,000 for the full repair. But the best of all, nobody who knew I had an accident but had not seen the car could pinpoint where the car was damaged. It is virtually impossible to identify the damaged areas. The job was a door skin replacement, paint and blend aside from other minor details. No component inside the door was damaged... lastly, the maintenance light turned on a few days before the accident, this other shop took the car to the dealership I bought the car from and had it serviced for me before I picked it up. My point, I don't doubt Autotech earned their reviews but the estimate process and pricing based on word of mouth will always be suspicious to me. ALWAYS engage other shops for comparison, ask for a written estimate and go for reasonably priced high quality repairs. I always go for high quality, but there's a difference between the cost of high quality and simply exaggerated.

Not just good, Excellent!!…read more I am the person who gets screwed all the time. People can not come close to the quality of workmanship or the attention to detail I expect. This is not a BS review!! I did not want to bring my Tundra to any body shop. My past experiences with them have been very poor. They do a poor job and lie or say that's as good as it gets. I dealt with Joe Kidd. He knew it wasn't happy being there. I told him very nicely in plain English, "anyone who touches my truck, tell them don't fuck with my truck!" To take your time, I don't want a rush job! I don't want to see boogers, runs, orange peel, blends, etc! I had "ajadah" to say the least leaving my truck there!! It went from ok to worst!! The guy who hit my truck, hit it so hard that I got a call from Joe that the whole door and running board needed to be replaced. Ajadah level peaked at 100 plus!! Now I even more had a bad feeling about leaving my truck there! 9 days latter the call came in that I dread! Come pick up your truck! I went over the truck 2 times inside and out, left, right, front to back and I was very pleasantly surprised! The paint looked factory!! NO BOOGERS, FISH EYES, ETC. The body lines were perfect. There was no scratches on the interior panels. I found nothing loose, nothing damaged, nothing broken, nothing wrong with the truck. I told Joe in front of him, that I'm seriously trying to find something that I don't like about the job that was done, and I can't find anything. The next day I went over the truck 2 more times in natural sunlight at different angles. I could not find any flaws in the paint job including color match, metallic flake, or anything else that was removed from the old door and installed to the new door. OK, let's nitpick this to pieces. The only flaw that I saw on the truck was the front door didn't close flush to the rear door as it should, about 1-2 millimeters off. It took the guy 10 seconds to adjust it and it was perfect! (Normal) The second very minor detail was the next day i saw on the interior of the driver's side rear door was somebody's dusty finger prints. (A quick wipe with a damp cloth, done) The last nitpick thing was VERY SLIGHT SWIRLL MARKS in the paint from buffing. (Normal) AGAIN THIS IS VERY MINOR, hardly noticeable and will go away with the first waxing of the truck. So on a scale of 1-100. I give the workmanship and attention to detail 99.5!! My truck is as close to perfect as possible except for the bad memories of the jackass who hit my truck. This is nothing personal,,, I hope never to see Joe Kidd again, or go to Turnersville Collision for any type of repairs again. But if I do, I feel safe and rest assured that Joe and their body shop "artists" will meet my expectations in the future. Thanks for the excellent job! Glen Kane 1/15/19 Just a quick update, been more than a year and absolutely nothing is wrong with the truck after the repairs. There are no rattles, squeaks, noises, paint problems or mechanical problems with the door. Everything is perfect. Thanks again for the great job.

You sit down with Caliber Collision, have a full conversation, and…read moreclearly explain that no work should be done on your car until the other necessary repairs are completed. This is something said, multiple times, to two different people. You lay out the logic. That if those repairs can't be done, then there's absolutely no point in moving forward with anything else. They nod, agree, document it, and reassure you that everything is understood. And then they go ahead and ignore the entire agreement. No call. No update. No clarification. Just straight-up doing the work anyway, even though they knew it wasn't supposed to start yet. And now you're stuck with a bill for repairs that may not even matter, plus the added headache of trying to sort out a mess they created. Calling insurance companies who have no idea what im talking about, over something that Caliber Collision should have done before even calling me. I'm telling you: don't use these guys. They'll agree with you in the moment, but somehow the communication magically "gets lost," the documentation suddenly doesn't matter, and they move forward with work you explicitly said not to authorize. It ends up costing you more money, more time, and more frustration. At the end of the day, it feels like one giant scam. Oh and let me add, I had my own OEM parts for them to use, but they went ahead and got their own, even though they knew that I had the parts for them. so yea, a giant scam. DO NOT COME HERE!

**FRAUD ALERT | Worst Shop & Customer Service Ever**…read more Took my car to Rocco's for minor paint damage--no dents. What should've been a 2-day fix turned into 6 weeks of lies and shady practices. They claimed the car was ready, then suddenly said the frame and suspension needed replacing due to a "discontinued part." I called my dealer--part was in stock. Rocco's was "shocked," then shifted the story again. They even claimed they were working with my dealer for the parts, my dealer confirmed they never heard back from Rocco's. Staff was rude, blamed me for the damage (!), gave zero updates unless I called, and dragged the process out. I finally had the car moved to another certified dealer by my insurance. Three technicians assessed the car to be certain & they confirmed all it needed was an alignment (which Rocco's claimed they already did). Nothing else. Been driving it for weeks--perfectly fine. **I have receipts & documentation to prove everything I said.** Don't trust this place. Save yourself the time, money, and emotional stress.

The car was there till 3/5/2026 when we called, they said it would be ready by end of day. There was poor communication the entire time they had car. Made several calls weekly with no return call on updates. When call was returned it was always maybe next week, but the weeks came and went. Went to pick up car and it was still being washed, I asked to speak to someone about my concerns and the lack of updates. Amber acted like she cared and was listening, but her response was we have been very busy and "IT GOT LOST IN THE SAUCE" I was taken back by the unprofessionalism and lack of care. She also mentioned there were 3 adjustments that needed to be made but again we were never updated. Just kept saying it is still not ready to pick up. Finally, we get handed the keys and paperwork. She said we had no balance and it was on our paperwork. I questioned deductible and this took another 20 minutes, and they could not get in touch with anyone from insurance company. We were told to just pay the $750 and we will check following day with travelers and refund you. Needless to say, we are not happy and would never recommend Rocco's collision to anyone. Suggest they need to work on their team ethics, professionalism and genuine caring for customers. How do you even trust what they documented was even done? Looking over paperwork they charge for tire removal, and we removed tire from them. We wanted to keep the cost down because they were charging insurance for this reason we did not even get a rental, and it was good because the rental was only for 10 days and we would have to pay our of pocket for all the time they had the car.
