My friend and I really love Lucki Thai and have been stopping by for lunch for several years! We almost always get the warm, gently spiced chicken Tom Kha soup made with coconut milk; its perfect to share and a great way to ease into our meals. He is a spicy eater, so always orders about a 6, while I'm a light spice like a 1 or 2. Our orders are always made correctly and service is attentive and friendly. Our water with lemon is re-filled throughout service. When we visited today, we noticed new, large menus that have huge font! Perfect for reading without glasses. Lol He tried the new Chu-Chee Curry with shrimp and I sampled some of his and wow was that good! The curry was savory and had a kick at a 6, but I still really enjoyed it. The shrimp was fried with the perfect crisp coating that had some of the shell still intact, but edible. I'm going to try the catfish version next time! I had the Tamarind Shrimp, no shell, for my meal and it's more sweet, with a sauce that goes really well with the included white rice. All the meals are great for sharing, like family style. BEST THAI FOOD EVER!!! Anytime I have a craving for thai, Lucki Thai is the one. Location is a bit small but service is usually fast and staff are friendly and welcoming. Pad thai, pad woon sen, pad see ew, larb, papaya salad, chicken satay, yellow curry, silver noodle salad, tom yum/kha soup just to name a few have always been amazing and the food truly never disappoints. Papaya salad has been my go to lately. The spice level could have packed a more bold kick but sadly it under delivered at level 5 of 10. The salad was still decent although I've had more citrus like flavors from other places I still tore this up. They have a pretty big VEGAN menu and my friend was able to order a few things. I tried this place for lunch. The lunch specials come with a great amount of food for the price, including salad, soup, and an egg roll. The entree had plenty of meat, and when I asked for 6/10 spiciness there was a good amount of spicy flavor without being overpowering. The seating is comfortable and the interior looked clean. I usually place orders at Lucki Thai for lunch specials to go. This last visit I dined in for dinner. The staff are all friendly and service is attentive. They are quite busy with to go orders being placed for pick up. The restaurant is small with a few tables and booths to dine at. The noise level is comfortable They offer a happy hour menu that features plenty of food and drink specials. We ordered both the pork egg rolls and potstickers to start. Both appetizers were fresh and hot. They were both crispy on the outside and full of meat on the inside. The dipping sauces that accompanied them were a great compliment to the dish. We ordered the Panang curry with chicken for an entree. It was a huge portion that was full of meat, notably more meat served here than other Thai restaurants I've been to. I've had this spot saved on my Yelp list for a long time, so when my fiance and I were looking for a lunch date spot, I recommended it. Although it was a pretty decent drive from where we live, it was so worth it! Located in a strip mall with ample parking, this spot is cute and has a charm to it. All of the front of house ladies were so nice and very attentive our entire time there. They offer a very generous lunch special, as well as their full menu. We both opted for the lunch special, especially since it comes with egg drop soup which I love but rarely get because I don't really order Chinese food often (I find it too unhealthy). Their soup was so good! It had the right consistency and the veggies I'm accustomed to (carrots, peas, celery), not corn which I think is an odd Vegas thing lol. You also get an egg role, which was crispy and had a sweet chili dipping sauce. I usually don't eat egg rolls but decided to try this one because I was starving. It wasn't greasy like a lot of places, thankfully! The salad was really good too, it was lightly dressed with a really bright vinaigrette. They also give a fried wonton chip, but I have that to my fiance. Their options for the lunch menu are a bit limited, but there is definitely something for everyone. My fiance had the Mongolian beef which he said was one of the better ones he's had. The real star was my garlic pepper chicken. It was absolutely delicious! I'm a spicy girl and unfortunately I couldn't have any spice at that time for medical reasons, but the dish had so much flavor I didn't miss the spice at all. I will absolutely go back for that dish alone! My fiance agreed and although he liked his dish, I think he secretly wanted to steal mine. It's been a while since I've been here, but it's the same as I remember it. I think it was about three years ago when I wrote my first review on this place. I really like the crab fried rice. This time I went a bit simpler. I went for the papaya salad, shumai, and potstickers. All of the food that I ordered was absolutely amazing. I also ordered some pad Thai for my mother and she loved it. I highly recommend going to this place. I don't really know about the service because I ordered it on Uber Eats but it was still good. I the lunch special, Pad Thai Chicken, with egg drop soup that has too much yellow coloring, a little bit of green salad and the Pad Thai. First, I noticed that the pad Thai is kind of salty hardly have any peanuts on it and on my second bite, I felt something scratching my tongue and found a couple of stands of "Steel Wool Scrubber"! I called the server and before I can even take a picture, he grabbed my plate and kept apologizing and took it away. The Restaurant looks kind of bare, compared to other Thai restaurants. I see some pieces of paper on the floor that it didn't seem like they cleaned up from the day before. Looks very old. read more

I called in a take out order--based on popular items I viewed, opted for the Tom Yum level 2 spice soup with chicken, Chicken Satay sticks, beef Pad See Ew. Mango Sticky Rice. It was all cooked and prepared in 20 minutes. The staff member made sure to note that I was calling the correct spot (off Bermuda and Silverado instead of the other location closer to S. Rainbow. Food was prepared quickly and still warm when I arrived. They had separated out some other to go orders to make pick up a bit easier. The spot seemed a bit busy when I came to pick up (only a handful of tables open, with people coming in to dine in). They did have a few dine in only options for happy hour, which I will note for any future visits. The spice level was perfect and the food met expectations. This is my favorite Thai place in town. I love the red curry and vegetable egg rolls. I get it to go all the time when I'm in town. My only complaint is just that they put this very hot liquid and food in plastic containers. The sauce to the egg rolls literally warps the plastic container. And the curry is VERY hot and put in a thicker plastic container. It's common practice but that doesn't make it healthy or ok. Eating that much plastic and PFAS is disappointing. Their food is perfect. I just wish they'd consider how they package to gos to be less pro cancer causing chemicals. read more

Although not everything is superb, I did find a couple dishes that I really loved, and that's why I am giving them 5 stars. During my last visit, they actually made a 10 out of 10 spicy. All my visits before that, the 10/10 spice wasn't too hot. Maybe they changed chefs? This is the first time getting lunch specials here. They aren't nearly as good as the dinners. Obviously there's a portion difference. But, I thought the green curry was very greasy. As was the soup. The pad Thai didn't have a lot of flavor. The salad was fresh although missing a pop of flavor. The spring roll was good. Rice and curry were good, as was the beef in the curry which can be tough at restaurants. Service was on time per my pickup. The restaurant was very busy! Clean and lots of people eating right when it opened. There's only like 8 or so tables. I'd go again for a full beef curry dinner portion. Might skip the lunch specials next time. read more

Still satisfied after several years of dining at Lucki Thai. I met a friend for an early Friday dinner to celebrate life and friendship! I ordered the Salmon Penang And Prik King with tofu extra crispy! Although the flavors were amazing, the presentation and texture of the salmon was just OK. if I order it from here again, I will ask for a nice crisp on the salmon. That is just a personal preference not enough to take away a star! Everything about the Prik King is perfect! My friend ordered the Rad Na for her partner, to go. Although we taste tested it, she approved admitting it was his favorite. Again, I on the other hand, was not a fan, I thought it was a little bland for my liking. Our two servers were good, but the woman who finished up with our service was my favorite. Not much has changed about the ambience inside, it was still cozy and starting to look like a hole in the wall. Please don't read that as an insult, hole in the walls may be the world's best thing ever when it comes to restaurants, in my opinion. The only thing I found disturbing about this experience was that there was a young, possibly homeless, male, individual, possibly on heroin or some other drugs that followed us (as soon as we left the restaurant) to her car and literally opened her door. Duh, lock your damn door people. It was very strange, but after I demanded he go away and leave us alone, he promptly followed my direction and left. This was our first time here and we found it on Resi through the Platinum AMEX. You get the feeling it is a family owned restaurant, which I love. I like to support small businesses and especially live to see them succeed, First the service was impeccable, the man who seated and served us was extremely attentive and very patient. We ordered 5 appetizers, 4 meals and a papaya salad for 4 people. We had NO idea how LARGE the portions the food would be. Needless to say, we ordered way too much. We walked away with 4 styrofoam containers and one large soup container of left overs. The food was amazing, there was not one thing I would change.
