In response to another review on this app I have this to say. I was the GC on that project. The clients negative comments are unfair and unjustified. A subcontractor working on the project made a mistake. When he was asked to fix the mistake he made excuses and took way too long to come back and finish the work. While the clients frustration is justified, his anger towards the interior design team is completely out of proportion. The mistake was simply not the designers fault. I would recommend Tineke Triggs to anyone looking for a quality design team with real class.

We…read moreknew we wanted a total makeover for our place, but trying to find a team that actually handles the 'boots on the ground' construction side and the high-end design is way harder than it looks. After talking to a few different firms, Kanika Design just felt like the right fit. Kanika really listened to what we wanted. I've always been a bit nervous about using bold colors, but she pushed us (in a good way!) for a deeper color palette in the main living areas. It looks incredible. Kanika found us so many unique, high-quality furniture pieces that you just won't find at a big-box store. The biggest thing for us was logistics. Once the design process completed, their team handled everything - architectural, permit headache, and construction. Anyone who has done a remodel knows things never go 100% perfectly, but whenever an issue popped up, they were on top of it immediately. They kept the contractors moving and kept us updated on the budget and what was happening next. It's a relief to finally be done after 2 years and have a home that feels like us but way better. She was realistic with the budget and made it a lovely balance between expensive price and low cost pieces. She was at most of the stores with me choosing and picking things and did not put pressure on me to get what did not suite me. She did encouragement to try things I wouldn't have before and boy am I glad I listened. I purchased some baskets from them for my little girls room and went back and forth with one of their designers as I wasn't sure what would work in the space. When I purchased the items I was not informed that one of my items (on sale) was not returnable nor was I informed that the other two items I purchased were only returnable for store credit. Neither was this information laid out on my receipt. Two business days later I returned to return the three baskets and was told they don't accept returns on sale items and they only provide store credit for the none sale items. When two of the woman who helped me that day told the manager I had not be informed about their policy the woman running the show still would not make an exception for their error and on top of it was extremely rude and treated me as though I should have just know better. Well now I do know better and will never spend another dime in this store. Be careful with this place they don't value a customer, even one who is buying $300 in tiny baskets.
