We've been interested in a Lucid Motors EV for some time now, and today was the perfect opportunity to visit the Lucid Studio in UTC. We met Steven who was very helpful explaining differences between Lucid models and variations thereof, as well as taking his time answering the myriad of questions we had. From the seeing the two models in the studio (think upscale showroom), we will return next week for a test drive. Oh my gosh, the backseat has so much legroom in their electric sedan. Too bad we can't test drive it here. The kind sales lady took the time to engage and showed us the features of the cars. Mile range is pretty high compared to other plug-ins. Can't wait to see their SUV when it's unveiled. Great to see some luxury competition in the same space as Tesla. If they get a sports car version, I'll heavily consider trading in my gas guzzler. read more

I was greeted when I walk into the studio. I had my Lucid Pure for about 2 weeks now. I came to the studio in early August inquiring about taking delivery early since I would be upgraded with all wheel drive, dream drive pro and surreal sound pro for FREE if you're a reservation holder. The sale manager find me a car that have all the spec that I wanted including color and assign me the VIN. I was able to pick up the car in 2 weeks and 1 thousand miles later I'm happy with my Lucid. Oh it was during the hurricane so Costa Mesa Delivery Center was able to work with me to get my car early before the storm arrived. They offer to Uber me from Chula Vista to Costa Mesa or put my Lucid in a loading truck and deliver it to my house. Never been offer that before and I own 2 Tesla before Lucid. read more

I was given the privilege to test drive my future car the Air Grand Touring with Richard. His customer service was A1 and was able to answer all of the questions that I had. There was about a ten-minute wait for the car and during that time he gave me a tour of the models that were on the floor. His attention to detail was superb as he was able to tell me in detail everything about the vehicles. The test drive was amazing! It was roughly around the quickest 20 minutes of my life. The different car modes, the displays, and the smooth drive were amazing. This is a review of Nicolette Estes, our salesperson at the Lucid "studio" in the UTC La Jolla Mall. Nicolette is FANTASTIC! She is a car "nerd" in the very BEST sense of the word, because there was not a single general or technical question for which she did not know the answer, and we asked a LOT of questions! You can tell that she has a real love of a wide variety of automobiles, both current and past models. Not only did she know all the intricacies of the various Lucid models, she was also extremely helpful when it came to the best current deals being offered and the inventory available. She was personable, helpful, accommodating and available for all questions both before and after our vehicle selection. I can't imagine there are any better sales personnel than her, and she is highly recommended. 09/17/22 - I need to write this review because of how terrible our experience was at Lucid. My family and I were at the mall and being Tesla Model X owners, we have been debating between getting another car like a Model S or a different electric vehicle. My husband had seen Lucid in the past and suggested we walk in. There was a cluster of about 5 employees standing there and talking. When we walked in, no one greeted us. We were there for about 4 minutes and no one came up to ask us if we had questions. It was very uncomfortable seeing that we were the only people in the store with the 5 employees who were not interested in talking to us. Then a old white man with a golf shirt walked in and I'm assuming the boss/leader of the Lucid team immediately greeted the man and started talking to him. The profiling was SO obvious it was hard to make an excuse for why we were ignored. Shortly after, we walked over to the Tesla store, and we were immediately greeted by 3 different employees. My husband shared the experience with one of the employees there and the employee said that Tesla doesn't care who you are, they will talk to anyone because if you aren't part of the Tesla family, you might be one day and giving everyone the same treatment is their goal because you never know. The Tesla store customer service experience was completely different. I don't see how Lucid is going to survive in SD seeing it's the only store, and the only people they talk to are people they think look rich enough (sorry to the Mark Zuckerbergs out there wearing hoodies). If you're over 50, white, male, no children and it looks like you just played golf, you might have better luck. Besides the experience, I was not impressed with the cars finishes...it honestly looked cheap. After comparing the Lucid car to the new Model S, don't waste your time checking out Lucid because their car design looks average, interiors look cheap and customer service is TERRIBLE! read more

Literally walked in with the intention of buying the car outright in cash. I had my buddy right outside watching with my adidas backpack filled with 150k+ in cash. The salesperson approached me while I was in the car trying to play some music so I can hear the system myself. Tesla has an amazing sound system so I wanted to compare. They rudely came into the car and turned off the music while saying we don't play that kind of music here. Then proceeded to ask me to get out of the car because someone who was dressed in a suit wanted to "look" at it. Lol good job losing a cash sale! read more

On Sunday at the UTC Mall we were introduced to the new Lucid Touring Electric vehicle. Both my daughter and I must say that it was an amazing experience. The sales associate, Michael was not only handsome, but very knowledgeable and passionate about the vehicle. We were able to go out for a test drive and it was an experience like no other. This vehicle is beautiful from the front all the way to the back. The glass which runs from the front all the way to the back is just magnificent. Forget the moonroofs/sunroofs, those are a thing in the past. The interior is amazingly luxurious, with massage seats, the panoramic digital display and the iPad are unbelievable. Plenty of leg room to travel in luxury and comfort. Michael did not stop at saying it was an awesome vehicle, he knew the differences between the other cars and the Lucid, with the Lucid surpassing the speed and charging rates from all others. He also knew the exact measurements of the vehicle including trunk space, extra storage in the front, showed us a picture of the battery and the axle and all of its components and explained to us its function. I have owned a Corvette and currently drive a Cadillac, but I am in Awe with this new vehicle. read more
