John was very flexible and accommodating to my schedule (as I wasn't sure when I would be leaving and coming back exactly since it was a trip by car). John came to my house to pick Lucy up and also came to drop her off when I returned home. Talk about service! While I was out of town, he texted me a video of Lucy at feeding time along with fun little pictures of her sleeping and lounging around in his house. I wasn't expecting a video and that really made my night! Any time I texted him, he got back to me immediately. I will ABSOLUTELY use the Coconut Grove Dog Walker again to board Lucy. I go to the dog park on Virginia Street in the Grove every day and always see John taking the dogs there, so I know he takes GREAT care of all of his client's dogs. He's very knowledgable about every dog breed and you can tell he truly loves and cares about his client's (and all other) pets. It's comforting knowing Riley gets a walk during the day with someone I trust with both access to my home and with him. Having a dog who can sometimes have separation anxiety, it's a relief knowing he's excited to be dropped off at a home that makes him happy and where I know he's being loved as much as I love him. When we picked her up, I gave her water and she immediately started drinking it desperately. She didn't even greet us. She was more focused on drinking water than on seeing us, which says a lot about how thirsty she was. That behavior is not normal for her. Runa is not a dog that pants excessively unless she has been running a lot or is extremely tired. She almost never pants, not even when she's happy. That's why it really stood out to me that in every photo I received during her stay, she was constantly panting. At first glance, the dogs may appear "happy," but in reality they seem thirsty. She was there for only 5 days and still came back thinner and extremely thirsty. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that must have been for her , or how other dogs may be feeling if they are not being given proper access to water. I'm writing this with sadness, but also with the hope that this feedback leads to better care and attention to the well-being of the animals left at this place.

We were a little concerned with how she might behave, but were willing to take our chances...I mean, she's part of the family, right?? Unfortunately, everyone we knew and trusted would also be attending, and we didn't want to ask anyone to miss anything transporting her to and from the ceremony (our venue wouldn't allow her to stay for the reception...which was probably a good thing!) Maruchy came to our rescue, and not only walked, fed and transported our dog to and from the venue, but somehow miraculously whipped her into shape in the process. The office was completely empty, and the receptionist was on the phone the entire time I was there. I stood at the front desk for several minutes, and while I understand she was helping another client, there was no acknowledgment whatsoever--no "I'll be right with you," and no attempt to briefly place the caller on hold to check what I needed. Given that I had a dog with a potential medical issue, I found this pretty disappointing. Even a quick check-in or acknowledgment would have made a big difference. After waiting with no interaction, I ended up leaving and going elsewhere. I completely understand that appointments are required, but basic awareness and courtesy toward someone physically standing in the office--especially with a possibly unwell pet--should be standard.

So we decided to check out Woof Gang, we booked an appt online, signed waivers and went to check it out. I'm so glad we did! The space is clean, and staff could not have been friendlier. Our babies are just that, we want them to always feel safe and loved wherever they go. We met the grooming staff and the dogs seemed at ease with them right away. Our boy can be a biter when he gets nervous so we warned them to pls keep that in mind when dealing with him. They told us it would be about two hours. They were ready in an hour and a half! As soon as we got the call we went and got them. Luis let us know they behaved really well. Prices were fair, and they truly are a bakery they have a bunch of baked doggie treats. We got them a few that they'll get a little later today. All in all, we could not be happier with the experience and will 100% be bringing them back to Woof Gang for their regular grooming services from now on. Thank you for taking care of our babies
