UPDATE: That front desk gal is gone!! Thank goodness.
I got a personal call from Dr. And was invited back with promise of a free procedure. Now, I didn't take the freebie, as I didn't feel Dr. was at fault here. He was unaware. He is a kind man. Knowledgeable. And I felt at ease now. I was able to say this is what I would like to achieve and he agreed. He didn't try and upsell me (he did recommend services but added no pressure). At 45, its definitely "maintenance time". And he provided the maintenance I was after. Need be it, I will continue services...and I would certainly recommend all my girls (& guys too) to consult with him. Dr. Yassine also said he always wants to hear about results and if you aren't happy say with Botox results, he will touch up for free. I don't know if this is customary elsewhere. But I say this is a plus! I think he is an honorable man and has a gift of knowing just the right amount of service/maintenance/assistance/fill/help you may need or want. I'm glad we talked about this. I'm glad he had 2 very lovely young ladies working his front office now. Because that too is so important for a business. Friendliness and welcoming.
Thank you Dr. Yassine! XO
FIRST POST: My husband purchased a Groupon for me. Excited! I have never done this before!!
Went to my appointment.
Dr tells me this is not what I want done rather another product/service. I ask could we use THAT credit for this service? He says no, but you could still use it at your next appointment, I say ok. So I pay cash. And get this other service. Results were good, not great, but good. I was pleased. Subtle results and that's ok in my book.
3 months later, I call to use my Groupon before it expires. The manager, Vanessa, tells me I can't use the Groupon since I am no longer a new patient and opted to pay cash for a service instead of using the Groupon. I explained to her what took place. She consistently cut me off then she said I was a liar that I was JUST at their office a few weeks ago. She had my file and said Michelle Gomez! That isn't even me! Then I had to explain that to her also. She was rude, abrupt and unprofessional! I told her avidly to please have the Dr phone me to straighten this all out, as I was looking to use the Groupon (originally purchased) AND purchase more services at this next appointment. *That's what I originally told her in the first place. She then located and read in my file a note the Dr placed in it stating I COULD use this Groupon because I purchased a different service at the 1st visit. (As I stated)
She said, well I'm the office manager here and this is not the way things are done, so you could just get a refund on your Groupon we will no longer treat you anyway. And she hung up on me! (WhhhaaaaT?)
I was floored!
I bought a Groupon, spent way more money and called to make an appointment for more services = way more money for them and she tells me I can't come there because SHE was embarrassed because she was wrong?! Oh Vanessa tisk, tisk...
I think the Dr should know she is turning away business and cash!
But then I got to thinking...maybe that's their gimmick; bring them in with a Groupon and upsell them and not allow them to use the Groupon they originally purchased because they aren't "new" patients!
I feel used.
I'm angry about it and I think anybody who is considering services to choose a facility with some integrity and honesty.
After reading some of these comments on here, I could see I'm not the first person who sees what's really going on here. And I won't keep quiet about it, that's for sure. Dr. Yassmine will find out one way or another.
I got the refund. And plan to just wear the smile I will have going somewhere special with my hubby. Screw all that mess.
End rant.
Cheers beautiful people! read more
