Highly recommend Dr. Schneider. I went to her for treatment of multiple sebaceous hyperplasia spots (dozens) on my face, which I had had for years. She used LamProbe treatment, which worked very well. I had done research in SF and Bay Area for LamProbe providers for my sebaceous hyperplasia. Many day spas and aesthetic professionals did not have treatment options, and of the ones that did, Dr. Schneider gave me the best impression, and I am so happy that I decided to go with her. Her bedside manner is amazing -- kind, understanding, empathetic, very positive. Very informative consultation, good realistic expectation-setting, and smooth scheduling. Reasonable price compared to other quotes I received. The LamProbe treatment itself is somewhat painful (expected, but also because I had so much area to treat and several rather larger spots), but Dr. Schneider checked in with me throughout and was very encouraging. The follow-up session a month later, she continued additional treatment on my face, and also a few cherry angiomas on my torso. It's been about two months since the first treatment and I am very happy with the results. If anyone else, like me, has struggled with sebaceous hyperplasia, I can highly recommend Dr. Schneider. I have been seeing Dr Schneider and Gretchen (RN) for laser hair removal on my back and arms, and it's been a great experience! The laser process is very easy and straight-forward, and the staff is very attentive. I was worried about discomfort during or after the treatment, but the Dr is careful, knowledgeable, and takes great care in ensuring patient comfort. There are many kinds of lasers (and some do hurt), but Dr Schneider has the best equipment to make sure it is a great experience. Amazing experience with Dr Valerie Schneider! She is a true gem in Walnut Creek! I had Botox, sculptsure and have micro-needling scheduled! I really appreciated how much education I received from Dr Schneider on skin care! She really really knows her stuff! She also had helpful displays (grass shelf) that breaks down what your skin needs from cleansing, growth factors, vitamin C and retinol. I also really appreciated getting the pros and cons of each product without ever feeling pressured of buying. She really helped me develop plan for my skin based on my needs. I did the sculptsure today which is the competitor to cool sculpting. It'll the heat was applied 25 minutes on each side and it would gradually get hot and cool. I am super excited to see the results in 12 weeks. This is a great way to lose 24% of fat in targeted areas with no down time or side effects. I did cool sculpting before and I had shelving/swelling in the areas that were done. I had a little swelling with sculptsure but overall the side effects were noticeably less. I am also very excited for my appointment in 2 weeks to get microneedling with growth factors, she one of the only 2 sites in Northern California that has this specific growth factors! Dr Schneider really invests in products that work! Peggy the receptionist is also very helpful and friendly and followed up with me the day after to make sure I was ok. I went and saw Dr. Schneider for lip injections, and It was my first time getting any type of filler so I was pretty nervous. Before I went in I had a bunch of questions so I called and spoke with Peggy the receptionist and she was beyond helpful and seemed extremely knowledgable.
