Namely speed, timeliness, depth of reporting at a more than reasonable cost. I contacted Kevin the day of making an offer on a house and he was able to schedule me the next day (extremely important when you have a short window to complete the inspection). He actually arrived early and began his inspection before I arrived. Once he completed the inspection, he took a substantial amount of time to review his findings with me in a way that I could understand, prioritizing items which he considered most critical. Most importantly, based on his findings, I was able to negotiate a $3,000 reduction in the offered purchase price of my home, which was almost a 10x return on investment in his service. What I appreciated most however, was his willingness to be available via email after his report was issued (a 24 hour turnaround) to answer my questions as I made decisions on hiring contractors to remedy the issues he identified. His replies were very timely, within a day of asking a question. The result of his service was essentially, peace of mind. I was able to enter into a contract to buy a home with my eyes wide open, knowing exactly what I was getting into. It is obvious that they want to keep their stars and this is how they do it. If you write a negative review then they require you to take them down and sign a waiver releasing them from liability.
