The owner (Steve) calls me to tell me the best option was to buy an o.e.m. create motor from gm...so that's what I did. One year later I take it to gm who tells me all my Vin numbers match and the motor was never replaced but rebuilt instead. I went back to American and asked for my warranty information. Steve the owner refused to give me any information and refused to help in any way. The issue with the motor was the gaskets on block was blown out. Not only are they liars and thiefs but they do horrible work....in fact looking through the reviews the only thing these guys can do is tires.

The next morning, I was trying to find a place that could come tow it or put air in so I could drive it to be fixed, since that service was covered by our insurance. I called McCall's, and the call was sent to voicemail. While I was talking with my brother about the tire over the phone, I got a call back from Bill McCall. I returned the call, and he said they could come put air in it. When Jeff arrived less than 15 minutes later, he surprised me by saying HE would take the car to the shop, leave his truck at my house, and then bring my car back when they were finished. I thought that was pretty awesome, but they topped themselves by bringing it back and saying "no charge"!They also turned the tire around, because it had a noticeable mark on the tire from where I drove it flat.
