Everybody was friendly, the shop was clean and organized. That says a lot when you're trying to size up an unknown shop. There was plenty of opportunity for them to upsale, but they kept the price as quoted and now I've got new brakes. That's how it's supposed to work. Thanks guys (and Erica behind the counter)!

They took a look at my car and offered the idea of repairing my subframe for a bit cheaper than replacing. They told that they've fixed worse, so I trusted their expert opinion and paid more than $500 to get my subframe fixed up. A few months later, I have a broken sway bar link, which broke off the supposedly fixed subframe that was actually rotted. I had to pay another shop to replace my subframe (which I originally went to JNL Auto for). Car has been driving great ever since, thanks to the other mechanic who apparently knows the difference between rust and rotted metal. Letting me drive around on that subframe could've killed me. The shop manager told me that even though I would be paying the same hourly rate as other smaller jobs, he did not want to have his staff do it because it was too hard. He said that he would rather do a bunch of smaller jobs such as brakes and oil changes than one large larger job even though the pay would be the same. This doesn't make any sense to me at all. He indicated that he was too poorly staffed, lacking Talent to complete larger jobs. The manager was engaging and was polite, but at the same time, dogmatic and insulting to a degree. Not recommended, keep on looking for a shop that is not afraid of your car. I wouldn't be surprised if they come on here and try to turn this around and state some positive things about their business in an effort to use it as free, marketing or advertising, but, enter at your own risk.
