But you get charged for hours and somehow they claim to have spent a lot of time on it, I really don't know how. They were very easy to work with, and completed the inspection very quickly. It was extremely thorough, including a road test, tire/brake/rotor checks, transmission fluids, etc. Josh also took pictures of any issues with the car and quoted prices on a repairs, which I was able to use at a bargaining tool. The price of the inspection was on the high side ($275 including tax) which is about $125 more than the national inspection companies but it was a much more thorough inspection. Wouldn't hesitate to use Layland Motors again and highly recommend their service.

I had the work done paid $330 and drove away but the rattle was still loud. They told me they dont know maybe struts but I knew it wasn't. I bought sway bar end links and control arm to have them installed. Another $300 to fix the rattle but of course it was still there. I then took it to Tallmadge Auto/Tire and they told me immediately it was the hub bearings and that Market muffler didn't even tighten the axle nut it was completely off. Mind you Ray the mechanic told me the car was good and ready to drive to south carolina! On top on their incompetence they were rude and dismissive and their mistake could have cost my life or at least catastrophic damage to my vehicle! Never take your car here if you value your life and your money!
