But he said it "should be ok" since I've been driving it since then. He failed to mention that the test "not working" results in a fail, and that I'd lose the $30 fee and have to get it re-tested (I would have waited if I'd known). Upset at not having been warned of this, I complained to both the guy at the front desk, and later to the manager. Both were completely unsympathetic, and took a "not our problem" attitude. Even the head-office for Oil Changers only delegated responsibility, saying that the franchise is independently owned, and that I have to deal with them. Be warned! This location does not care about you. They will do the bare minimum, and shirk responsibility if anything goes wrong as a result of their failure to provide you with essential information.

Gosh I came only to get this deal and then they were not able to change it . FRAUD ADVERTISING BY MR LUBE . I also tried registering my invoice number in MR Lube website for their club benefits but it says invalid invoice number , was wondering if this MR LUbE station is fake or the website is defective . Last but not the least after changing the oil the service advisor closed the hood and his dirty hand marks are all over my hood . Oil hand marks on hood while closing it . I do wonder though if actual Santa Clause runs his shop with as much of an iron fist. Your experience here will be based upon the mood of this man. If he's in a good mood, he is absolutely a pleasure to deal with. If he's not, he's gruff and you feel almost intimidated being in the shop. The guys who do your typical oil change are young and don't seem especially but are always very friendly, eager, and helpful. They'll actually do all the "checks" that a place like Mr. Lube will seemingly pretend to do (tire pressure, door jams, lights, etc.) and will only recommend things you actually seem to need. The feeling I get is that they are not on commission but are encouraged to up sell, though I've never found them pushy at all. All in all I've got many oil changes here and other simple services like transmission fluid changes or emission tests and the work has always been good. I just wish the gentleman running the place could be more consistent in his demeanor. Sometimes the small things like this matter.

The industry norm for ratings seems to be up to 5 stars, the people at Master Mechanic Matheson deserve at least double that, and it is my opinion that their name says it all "MASTER MECHANIC' as these folks have done the "almost impossible". How many of us over the past have had a vehicle they wish they had never sold! As an occasional collector of unique automobiles, I have a favourite, and this one I have never sold. Purchased new with some added horsepower by the folks at Nascar, my pride and joy is a 1996 Lincoln MK VIII LSC. While this vehicle is relatively low miliage, at 27 years old, parts are failing more due to age than wear and tear. Time for a fairly substantial overhaul, a complete vehicle inspection was performed, and identified 11 problem areas each supported by a detailed description and supporting pictures. A work order was then supplied with cost estimates for each repair/replacement. Parts, however, are extremely hard to find as there are apparently only 12 of these vehicles still registered, difficult to source parts (some of which took days to find, and could only be found in the USA) were obtained by Kirk the (Service Advisor), and installed by Edward, Rashidul, and possibly other Technicians. These parts included a Power Steering Rack and Pump with various hoses, A/C Compressor and associated hoses, front upper Ball Joint, Sway Bar Link, wiring for rear tail lights, and for safety sake, and not available as parts, new steel brake lines (and transmission lines) were hand crafted and installed by the Technicians, completely replacing the old lines. I can't express how impressed I am as these folks have worked wonders, and everyone there deserves a personal thank you for the courteous, professional and efficient service they have provided.
