Approximately 27 MONTHS LATER, I was advised that the same exhaust component needed to be replaced AGAIN. In my opinion, that is an unacceptable lifespan for a repair of this nature and raises serious questions about the quality of the part supplied, the installation, or the original repair. I retained the invoice and photographs and subsequently examined the components on the vehicle. Rather than reassuring me, what I found left me with MORE questions about exactly what was installed in 2024 and why I was facing the same repair again barely two years later. This is what concerns me most: customers generally cannot crawl underneath their vehicles and verify expensive repairs themselves. We PAY professional mechanics because we TRUST them to install the parts we paid for and perform the work competently. After this experience, that trust is gone. I brought my concerns directly to Frank, the Service Manager (Habib the owner refused to speak with me). Frank refused to answer any of my questions and did not provide an explanation. My advice to other motorists is simple: DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. KEEP YOUR INVOICES. PHOTOGRAPH THE PARTS. ASK TO SEE WHAT WAS REMOVED. GET A SECOND OPINION. Up until yesterday before bringing my car into Midas ONLY for the safety test it was running smooth and I was aware of a weak battery which I planned to have it replaced with my buddy the mechanic. As I was waiting Midas for my car they told me that I had to change the battery and go on about the alternator. I told I'm here for a safety test and was not looking to do anything else. They keep pushing a sales on me and I kept telling them no. There was a lady that came in before me looking to get an oil change and they kept pushing her to get synthetic oil, which cost twice as much and unnecessary. She just wanted to get the regular oil change. I felt bad and kind of wanted to say something, but didn't want to make a scene. So I get my car back after refusing on several occasions to their displeasure. The moment I drove out on the way to my buddy the mechanics shop, about 10-15 mins my car starts acting erratic. All the warning lights comes on at once. My car starts shaking while it's going into gear. Eventually I would not even go pass 10km/h, this was all happening during rush hour on a busy street, it was pretty scary. I had pull my car into a parking lot and then it just completely died. I can't start it. I called Midas back and they pretty much were like " well I told you so and don't blame it on us" kind of attitude. I told them that I've been driving this car for some time and the moment I bring it to your location my car died. It just seem very suspicious since they were so aggressive about me fixing things with them. My car is currently at my friends shop and I'm not sure exactly how much it's going to cost me to fix it now. I had to pay to get it tolled. My car is a 2012 mdx, with only 113000km on it. Relative low km. Been driving smooth and no issue other then regular wear and tear, minor things. I'm just sharing my honest experiences about these guys. I basically do not trust them and I'd never go to another Midas again! It seems like they have this very aggressive, untrustworthy sales approach there, beware if you choose to go to this location, it becomes very costly! Ps I'd give them zero stars, but that's not an option so I have to bite my tongue and give them one fake star.

The owner when I first met a few years ago opened and took me in on Labor Day when I called him directly just for me to fix a cracked pipe connecting to the catalytic converter. This was as loud as a check unbelievable. Just the service for him coming out on Labor Day and opening up the shop I paid him for the repair and also tipped him $50 for what he did. Ever since then he was the man to go to for all your auto needs. What he says in terms of rates he never changes them during a job which is quite a great show of integrity and honesty. This is most likely the best shop in Devon area for your auto needs hands down. Second time around he replaced another piece on the other side of the muffler or a piece broke and he also added stabilizers that I had purchased at a auto shop for the front end and charge me a minimal price for that and did a great job and overall he always does great. They were looking for an honest professional mechanic this is the man you need to come to. Anything to everybody at t-bird Muffler and Auto services and I highly recommend this place.
