I came in on a Saturday morning with a slow leek in my tire and have been frequenting them for all my car needs ever since. They are located on a prominent corner location on Kennedy south of Queen. It has a nice waiting area with coffee, a TV, complimentary wifi, popcorn, and reading materials. The rates are competitive, the staff is super nice, and they are very thorough. read more

Went in for a wheel alignment and their manager (Hammad) was willing to explain to me how the process would be done, how much it would cost, and even called in the dealership for me for parts inquiry and cost. I have brought 5 different vehicles in for various services and I have found that they are customer focused, honest and easy to deal with. My background is a helicopter mechanic so I have a good working knowledge of mechanical issues. I have experienced my share of shady, money-focused operators who try to upsell you or who tell you things that don't make any mechanical sense. This includes car dealer repair shops. It is refreshing to find a service provider that will tell me the truth. Since culture is usually a reflection of management/ownership, I will continue to bring my business there, until they change management. Then I will review again. read more

I've had issues everytime I've gone to the Brampton location. The guys there seem to enjoy arguing with me because I'm a woman.

I came to Kal tire at this location just to fix a inflated tire and they told me bullshit that My car wasn't aligned and put in new parts that were so unnecessary making me spend over a grand. Dont listen to them when they say you need to fix this and that. Only come to fix what u initially came for and leave. Go somewhere you can fully trust to get other things done. Not very friendly at all But they are honest which I appreciate. Some of the mechanics are lazy, I had a flat tire and changed it to my spare. I purchased a brand new tire and when I came to pick up my Jeep I found the spare left in the trunk and not put away. the mechanic said the spare wouldn't go back in so I ended up putting the spare back by myself only to find the same mechanic being forced to offer me a hand cuz the boss gave him the death stare read more

Took my car in for a couple of new tires for my 08' Impala and was told I needed brakes all around and a ball joint control arm. The mechanic brought me into the garage and showed me the issues. Although I was floored by the news and certainly not ready for the cost I was more than pleased by the professionalism displayed by the staff I connected with. Being a senior on a fixed income they worked with me to come to an agreement on balancing the work needed vs my limited budget. Thank you for being flexible. I was most impressed they had the car ready the same day. The ride home and back again was also appreciated. I like them, they've got good prices on tires, and they're pretty honest. Every time I take my car to them to fix something, they fix it. If they see something else that's broken or ready to break, they tell me about it and discuss the options, they never go and replace parts without asking first. read more

I went to get All weather tire from Kal tire brampton-Kennedy location and i get the worst customer service from all time. The front desk person had bad attitude and not good in explaining the difference between tires. He did not even let me know what brand of tire and year he was going to install on my vehicle. After installing tire, I noticed that its 2014 year instead of new and the guy response was whatever they got in Warehouse they installed as he does not anything about tires. When i complaint about it, he still does not explain and told me it does not matter. Anyhow as polite person i decided to pay it and leave with 1 year old tires, then i start my car there was error for my day light running light. Guess what i asked them to do special check on my car :( When i asked him to check as it was not happening before, he just went to back and did not show up so i had to ask one of the mechanic (frank) to take a look and he just did not know the reason why it happened. i guess bulb was loose so after taking out the bulb and put it back it fix the problem when i reached home. P.S: dont go for your car service and for tire i wish if another Auto company sell all weather tires. I will prefer to go there as i am giving my money to get the service. read more

Kal Tire's website has more information - unbiased - that helped me choose the right summer tires for me, last year. I've had 3 tire swaps now and the staff are knowledgeable, trustworthy and efficient. They store my off-season tires very quickly and I've had no lost sleep. I keep going back a) because I trust them (which counts for a lot in the auto trade) and b) they do a good job at c) reasonable prices. Conversations with them are straightforward.
