We had an absolute nightmare experience with Lua's Taco Catering. We made our deposit well in advance and confirmed everything with them the day before our event, so there was no excuse for what happened next. On the day of the event (May 16, 2026) Lua's Tacos Catering was a complete no-call, no-show and ignored every message and call we made trying to reach them. We were left in a terrible position and had to scramble to find a local restaurant that can accommodate enough food at the last minute for our guests. To make it even worse, they have still not returned our deposit. This was beyond unprofessional, completely disrespectful, and caused unnecessary stress and embarrassment. Note that the 5 star reviews have low review counts. With that said, these are awful tacos. Skimpy portions, slow to serve and they mix onions with the cilantro with more onions than cilantro. Once food service was over they cleaned up their station so well you would never know they were there. Lua's Tacos catered my wedding last month and I was pretty disappointed unfortunately. I had booked them a year in advance and put down a deposit, only for them to tell me weeks before the wedding that their menu and package I had chosen has changed. They were also an hour late which pushed back the whole timeline of my wedding night and they only brought one person to serve 120 guests. Due to all of this, sadly not every guest was able to eat their dinner. He told us that he had more meat, but was unwilling to cook it (or take any offered help) because the line was so backed up.
