I…read morebought LVP flooring at Burgos tile in 2021 and Alex was very helpful, a little pushy when he saw I was hesitant to buy , however I liked the material so I bought it and he told me he could use his "people" and subcontracted out to different people for the demo, installation etc. When the flooring was done I liked it however there was minor things that needed to be touched up like some caulking. I called him twice and he never returned my phone call. I no longer was a priority after I paid him. I started having issues with my flooring as well last year , the floor was lifting and material breaking in many areas after a few years . I called him and he would not talk to me he said I will call you back and would not call me back. I continued to call a few days later and explained what my issue was ,he was very short and rude did not want to help me . I was trying to get warranty information but he did not want to help and ended up telling me off and cursing at me very badly saying my floor was messed up because "I was walking on it ". I was in shock at his behavior. After this I decided to try to repair myself since he was unwilling to provide good customer service to a customer who trusted him. I recommended friends to him and they had the same issue with their floor. The issues I was having was with the installation not being done adequately, a lot of cutting corners from the beginning . Alex charges you a big fee and pays the subcontractors pennies so you don't know what you're going to get. This is not good business, and he is only concerned about his personal profit. Trust me Alex is helpful in the beginning when he wants your business but if you have any issues after you pay him he will not help you. I spent a lot of $$ and expected a better outcome a lifetime warranty floor turned into 4 years . Do not buy from Alex or use him for installation on LVP learn from this information you will save yourself a lot of $$, time and headaches.

The Carpet Shoppe was the only place that was willing to give an estimate that same day! Bryan drove out, took measurements, and gave an estimate later that day. I was surprised how close all the carpet estimates came in at, but the one from The Carpet Shoppe was $100 cheaper than the rest. They were able to come install a few days later. The installers were professional and ripped out the old, and put in the new. Bryan gave me a call a couple days later to see how the process went and make sure that I was satisfied. I got the home on the market that week, and it sold in a day! Definitely recommend this company. Support local businesses! Carson C. Visalia, CA

We had used this company once in the past when we fixed up a house. They put in a beautiful remnant piece of quartzite for the bathroom countertop. I never forgot about them (they were in the Terra Bella at that time). I was happy to find out they moved to Porterville which was closer for us. We were now fixing up a bigger house in Three Rivers. I was so excited to use them again and I am so happy with their professionalism from beginning to end. The kitchen and two bathrooms are just beautiful and flawless, and we get many compliments! They have been trained with some of the best equipment and we enjoyed seeing their expertise at work. Our kitchen has an unusually difficult layout with the sink and the area around and behind it. They knew what to do to work it out. As a final shoutout- it shows that they love what they do, and that is important too! We will not hesitate to use them in our next house where we hope to put new countertops in the kitchen and 3 bathrooms. We 100% recommend them and will be hiring them again! ~Ruth D. During the original installation in 2017, the floating-floor product we selected reportedly had manufacturing or fit issues, and we were advised to switch to a glue-down product. Before proceeding, we specifically raised concerns regarding installation over our concrete slab and an existing crack. Following preparation work on the slab, including filling the crack, we were assured that the slab condition was acceptable and that the crack would not become visible through the flooring. After approximately three years, the flooring began experiencing issues including crack showing, plank separation, and lifting. We contacted Franey's in 2021 regarding these concerns and met with a representative. We were told that nothing would be done regarding the crack and that we should call back if the loose planks became a "trip hazard." In September 2025, we again contacted Franey's. During that visit, a handheld moisture meter was used to check for possible moisture conditions. The company ultimately attributed the issues to foundation and moisture conditions and declined responsibility. We requested documentation related to the moisture readings, including recorded measurements and calibration information for the meter used. We were later informed that no formal report, recorded measurements, or calibration documentation existed. We made multiple efforts to resolve the matter directly and professionally, including reviewing the company's proposal and providing several counterproposals, including repair options, prorated replacement proposals, customer installation options, and refund requests. Although the current owner was willing to communicate, we were ultimately unable to reach a resolution. One statement from the company that particularly stood out to us was: "Being upset or disappointed after the fact, is buyer's remorse..." This review reflects our personal experience with the project and the subsequent handling of the matter.
