The etch-a-sketch software they use to design our master bathroom does not calculate the drywall, plaster and tile which matters when every inch counts. "We won't start the job until all material is received". 8 days later, "we got a huge job elsewhere so we're going to start on your bathroom now and continue as material comes in." Taking time off work to accommodate their schedule was a pain. The crew that did the demo and new installation installed the Shower faucet that leaked causing water to fill between the walls on the first use. They had to come out, install new faucet and replace the drywall. Rick stopped responding to my call and emails so I was forced to communicate with the contractor he hired. Stucco cracked on outside wall where they installed the soap dish cubby. The shower drain had to be brought up to code bustarted smelling less than a year later. This would happen every few months. Called a plumber who ran a camera and found gravel in the line and said it's either from the install or a connection came loose and debris is filling the line. Ran into Rick and asked him about it and was told "it's out of warranty". The only bright side was that the cabinets we picked out came out great and the tile work was perfect.

He went into the store and he and another gentleman came out with two different options for me. After some discussion, I decided on one and made my purchase. I went in one day just looking for countertops for my kitchen, to my surprise they had lot more than countertops. ANYWAYS, staff was very kind I mainly delt with Israel who introduced me to an installer named Pablo. Mind you, I already had someone in mind to do my installation, but I didn't want to be rude and thought to myself a third quote won't hurt. Pablo was very kind processional and I expressed to him my urgency to finish up my counter tops before delivery of my appliances. Unfortunately for me, they did not have in stock the counter top I had selected and my project was put off as the front desk clerk made calls to many of their other stores to locate the pieces I wanted. They even honored the discount they had announced which I thought I would be charge for transit but was happy to hear I was given same store discounted price. Anyways, Pablo kept in touch (which is a lot more than I can say for a few other contractors I've hired). The same day that my order arrived Pablo was ready to not only pick up materials, but we went over exactly what I wanted. I AM SOOOO Happy with the craftmanship of Pablo and even more pleased with his visions, we had left over material and at no extra cost he made a custom piece to go by my window. We did run into a small problem, my sink did crack next day and he was more than happy to respond for it, luckily HomeDepot did the exchange but Pablo was a complete gentleman and said if they would not exchange it he would purchase it himself and still reinstall. Again lucky for us it was exchanged and my kitchen sink and countertops are non broken sitting strong thus far. I honestly thought I was going to be working with my original contractor, but Pablo has been so easy to work with, communicative, and does things in very timely matter which is hard to find now a days. We had a guest bathroom remodeled. We are mostly happy with the finished project, however they are…read morestill finishing a few things under warranty. The paint above the shower started peeling 1 month after the remodel and our custom glass shower door does not close completely causing it to leak. They are currently in the process of fixing those issues. My biggest complaint is the poor communication during the construction process. I never knew if anybody would be working and many times no one was there. Darren, Everett, and Patty are nice, but all about the "sale" of the project. You'll never see them at the job site. Tommie would often run late when we were supposed to be meeting and never kept me posted on the status of things. I mentioned this to Patty when she did a walk through and she said they discussed communication at one of their meetings. However, I continued to have issues with communication while having the warranty work done and emailed Patty regarding it. I received no response. I gave 3 dates to Tommie to have inspection work completed and received confirmation. The first day work was supposed to occur, I texted him at noon to check their status and he said they weren't going to make it. Missed a day of work and had to take an extra day off. Update- still have a leaking shower!!! We signed the contract 8 months ago and construction started 4 months ago. It was supposed to be fixed 3 weeks ago! Update #2- Shower guy came out and resealed part of the shower and changed the hinges on the door. Still have a leaking shower. Called shower guy directly and he said nothing else can be done. Waiting for a call from Everett. We are now almost 3 months past final inspection. Update #3- Our shower is now fixed. We have not had any more leaks and the shower door hinges are fixed. Overall, I'm happy with the finished project, but am disappointed with the lack of communication.
