We were going to the Halloween pop up speakeasy that's inside the restaurant and wanted to grab a bite before going inside. The inside has fun decor and nice seating. We ordered the sampler platter and everything on it was good. The buffalo wings had a great flavor to it and were crispy. The elote ribs were unique, cooked well, and had a balance of great flavors. The rolled tacos and quesadillas were good as well. Our server was very attentive to us even though he was helping with the speakeasy as well. We enjoyed everything about this place.

The prices were not it !!

Came here for Holly Jolly Christmas and what the actual heck. There's barely any decorations up. It's festive but it gives Salvation Army vibes, if you know what I mean. So we paid $57 for two tickets that came with a free drink. Then $50 on food. *The free drink tasted like watered down hot chocolate lol. Didn't even finish it. *The burger was decent nothing special! *The churros were hard *The only thing I liked was my corn rib but if you think about it, it's literally 1 mini corn split into 4s and sold for $13 lol !! The service was nothing spectacular. I'm so disappointed in our first festive outing. We didn't even stay our whole 90 min. Left after an hour even after reading that the grinch comes out and gives free shots.

Came here with friends to experience the Holly Jolly Bar and really enjoyed ourselves. The place is all decked out in Christmas decor. Great place to get into the Christmas spirit. CON: The place is a bit crowded due to the fact they are squeezing as many people as they can in the space. PRO: unlike some the previous reviews, service was friendly and fast. They understand you have only a 90 minute timeframe to enjoy yourselves, but they didn't make you feel rushed either. The artichoke dip and chips were delicious and although I didn't taste the rolled tacos, my friends said they were delicious and had a little spice to it. So nice to have something like this in the South Bay

First time visiting thought why not make it their Halloween speakeasy pop-up experience. Ticket was $25 which includes a drink, but the drink didn't seem to have any liquor in it (seemed like just soda). The food menu was small as well as the drinks. As I had other dinner plans I didn't eat here, but the place was a vibe. You walk through "haunted" part that you have Michael Myers and other Halloween characters walk up to you. Then you come to the restaurant side that is decorated for Halloween. You get seated in the order you enter based on your party's size. Then staff dressed up in Halloween costumes walk around the tables as you dine. Service was quick considering it was a full house. Definitely would do it next year for the vibes ... Food probably eat in the normal side of the restaurant as they have a full food and drink menu.

Where do I begin! Hey Yelp friends.. please tell me what day you went and received 5star service? Talk about a horrible Mother's Day meal. I'm sorry but the one star was really for the decor. Let's start with arrival shall we. We got there around 11:30am, they opened at 10. They were not busy and there was plenty of available tables. The hostess was nice and and said about a 20 min wait- ok fine. We walked around for about 10min and on the way back we noticed people arriving and immediately were seated. She then told us our table is ready. They sat us in the back area. We waited... and waited... and waited. There were about 4 other tables that were seated back there. Finally the same hostess that sat us came and took our order and said she was just helping. We ordered drinks and appetizers and of course food. Ive never waited so long for a drink. The whole time we're waiting we see what's going on. Clearly they were short staffed, but it was not busy. Not once did we have a waiter or waitress. There was I think an employee wearing an Adidas track suit I guess helping out but plates were being served at different times to the same table. People were asking for refills or salsas and no one would come back. The hostess finally does a drive by with my drink and I looked at it and immediately knew it was not a old fashion. It was a shot of liquor with a huge round ice cube, and a orange peel smh. I flagged "someone" down a let her know about the drink.. a few minutes later she comes by and said they only have Jack Daniels!! WHAT!!!.. they served me a shot of Jack and played it off as a Old Fashion! It was all down hill after that! And the replacement Strawberry Margarita was all Marga with no Rita, no Tito's, no Patron, nada!! -my daughter's coke was disgusting - the guacamole and pork rinds/chips were ok, but needed sal - we both ordered steak fajitas and when I tell you they were so oily and greasy and had maybe 4 lil pieces of meat, and mostly veggies. Everything needed a dash of salt. - The elote corn ribs weren't bad but kinda cold. Not once did anyone introduced them self or did we have a set server. It was a hot mess all around. You can see the disappointment on other peoples faces as well. Oh and I forgot to mention that I asked about the Yelp check in offer 3x... everyone blew it off. I think Las Tres Has a lot of potential and hey.. everyone has a bad day but, it's a future pass for me.

My husband and I sat outside on the patio. The breeze was super nice. The table was clean and the restaurant was not busy at all. We had a mistake with the drink ordered, which was fixed very easily! The rolled tacos were my husband's favorite. The wings were juicy but could have been a bit crispier. The churros were my favorite (perfectly fried while soft in the middle). I think the only thing really concerning was for how slow it was, it took forever to get refills or service. When we cashed out, the waitress was also rude at the end. I think the lack of service (for the price of this place) really turned us off.

I'm so glad I tried this place! This is a newer restaurant in the Chula Vista mall, and it is goooood! Their carne asada tacos were a hit! And their drinks matched...delicious! The atmosphere was very upbeat and fun. We came on Cinco de Mayo and there was a live DJ playing all the latest songs. I had a free yelp check in offer to taste their las catrinas? But the manager came over and said the offer was really old, so he brought us their house guacamole which was a perfect substitution. Everything was great!

Food was not good. There was a lack of flavor. My lemon pepper wings didn't hit me until the 3rd wing and there were only about 5-6 wings. The carne asada on the carne asada fries tasted dry and over fried, like recooked meat but also the jalapeños tasted old and for vinegar jalapeños to not taste like vinegar, they must have been really old. The only decent food I tasted were the sliders. The drinks were weak, didn't taste the alcohol and even the "fruit flavor" wasn't really there. My mango martini tasted like watered down mango juice, definitely not worth the price. The service was good, our waiter was attentive and nice. But there was an issue about getting drinks at the bar directly rather than asking our waiter for them. Supposedly the manager had a problem with this, but I think it was our waiter creating a fuss over tips (we had a party of 13ppl). The ambiance was the only thing that was promising. It had a good amount of space and there was live banda which is why were there but it didn't start until 10:00pm, which we were about to leave so that sucked. Food: * Service: *** Ambiance: ***

First time here was over the season for hte "holly Jolly bar" experience. Sadly we were super disappointed. The fee to get in was ridiculous, $25 a person just to walk-in and get a welcome "drink". We were sat at our table and a person walks over and just sets down 4 Luke warm beverages, not a word wash said to us other wise. the table next to us however, they were asked if they would like the "welcome beverage" to have alcohol or not. Am I to understand that we paid 100+ for a party of 4 to get almost cold (hot) chocolate this is absurd. After about 15 mins pasted our waiter comes back over and says, "ready?". not hello, not welcome, nothing! his first wordo to us are "ready!". if we had not already paid to be here we would have left. we decided to order an actual round of drinks, they were a little sweet but tasty. the menu was very very limited so we got two apps, the corn ribs and the rolled tacos. each were very yummy but ran about 22.00 a plate. for APPS this is wayyyyyyy over priced. We ended up not ordering anything else and went somewhere for an actual dinner. SD Buckget List and LTC should really be ashamed of themselves for this abuse of the Hoilday Spirt. So many other places were partaking in these themed events, which we love to attend. This was overpriced and underwhelming. Truly sad because it was our first experience at this restaurant and we really have no intensions on returning after this terrible First impression

We came here for my bday dinner after tacos el gordo was packed. This was quite the downgrade. They had a yelp coupon listed that they said was no good, the food came out a couple plates at a time so by the time my food came out the rest of the group was basically done- that was weird. The steak was overcooked and bland. The inside is cute but the food was expensive and not good.

We visited for the holly jolly bar for brunch and it was great! I was reading the other reviews and was hesitant to go, but I'm glad I didn't listen to them. We had such a great time! The drinks were tasty, creative, and festive. I enjoyed the complimentary hot chocolate with tequila. Service was quick and considerate of the time limit. The holiday decorations were cute and charming. The food was delicious. Our group was all about cheesy Christmas shi* and we ate this shi* up! So glad we ended up doing this! Would go again for another pop-up!

Horrible customer service for special event called "Holly Jolly." Host that sat us should have been dressed as the grinch because it would have fit his attitude problem! Everything was overpriced and tasted horrible(food). We had to wait almost 10 minutes for silverware and napkins after asking multiple times. The food by that point was cold. The place was decorated very well but food and customer service was 1/2 a . Paid 20 or so per ticket to get in and spent over $150. Not worth the price

We were greeted and sat down immediately. The waitress was super nice and offered us the menu. We got many dishes to try. The house guacamole was pretty good, loved that they have chicharrón with guacamole. Ahi tuna tostara were pretty good, needed more spice Camarón ranchero, one of the worst dishes. The shrimp tasted rough and for 5 shrimps with a side of rice was about $22, kind of pricey. Achiote pulpo, the octopus was cool perfectly. The trio salsa goes well with it La mar y tierra, was good but definitely overpriced $25 for a little bit of arrachera and few shrimp. Again, shrimp was rough and no taste. The steak was good but just arrachera. Overall, it was ok the food. Definitely, the waitress was the highlight. She was very friendly.

After dinner at one of the hotel restaurants, we headed over to C&C at about 9:20pm. We looked for the "special door". We found it, approached, and walked through two doors and entered C&C. The lights were dimmed to add to the ambiance. At first glance the decor was nice and the vibe was chill. We spotted two vacant tables and a row of vacant seats and tables against the back wall. Just as we were about to seat ourselves we were approached by a lady with a name badge. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name. She went on to ask us to exit C&C and wait outside for her to come and get us. We were basically being kicked out. WTF? There were vacant tables, so what was the issue? We were dressed nice as we just came from dinner, while others were dressed in t-shirts and shorts. We were taken aback, and we walked out questioning what had just happened. As we were standing outside she came out and handed us a couple of menus and she went back inside. Just then, a group of three exited and approached us and jokingly said that we could go inside. Then they said, "I can't believe she kicked you guys out, what the hell? There were tables open, what's her problem. I was shocked!" It was clear that what had just happened was not right. Not just in our opinion, but to others as well. Still don't know what the issue was. There were no signs outside to indicate that we were to wait. No one outside to guide guests. There were some velvet ropes, but they had been pushed completely to the side. I didn't want to be upset, but those three guests that spoke to us solidified our feelings. The lady came back out to tell us that we could now go inside. We were the only two people standing outside waiting. I decided to hand her the menus, said we were good, and we left to go grab a drink at the lobby bar. Not sure what the issue was but it was handled poorly. If there was some type of protocol to follow and it failed, she should have seated us, rather than kick us out, and then step back into the flow of things. Wish I could give this place a higher rating. Maybe we'll try again in the future.

There were 6 of us. The gal who was doing security gave us menus and said the bartender would be by and they do table service. She gave us menus but no water. We waited for more than 10 minutes and watched two bartenders behind the bar never come over, not even greet us, bring us water, say "hey I will be with you" ... nothing. And they weren't rushed or slammed, nobody was ordering, they just didn't come out to us or even look at us, bring us waters, nothing. And by the way, their menu is disgustingly overpriced. $25 cocktails (very basic) Average cost for a GLASS OF WINE.. $30-$55 per POUR. for a mid af $100 bottle of wine lol. 55 dollars per glass of wine and we could not get an acknowledgment whatsoever. We ended up getting up and leaving and as we were walking out the bartender ran over (super quick btw, so he does have legs) and said hey where are you guys going, and we said we're leaving and he said "I was gonna come over right now" It was so cringe like he was chasing a tip from us since we had a medium size party. Not worth the hype, not worth the reviews, the influencers who post about this place probably worked something out with the management or hotel because this place is a total miss. Not even a swing and a miss. I can't say enough bad things about it.

The chocolate cake was so dry that it was practically inedible. The tropical décor and hidden tiki speakeasy "X" are interesting concepts, but the poor service and disappointing food overshadowed what should have been a special birthday celebration. I was previously complaining about those sad, crappy tater tots you guys started serving. I mean... I was concerned. I was disappointed. I may have questioned our entire relationship. But we stopped by for dinner last week and, to our absolute delight, discovered that the GOOD tater tots are BACK! And then you went and added those new potato balls?!? Those things are the effing bomb! Seriously, whoever came up with those deserves a raise. So, I owe you guys an apology for all the tater-tot negativity. I'm going to see if I can find my old post and delete it because you guys have officially gotten back in my good graces. Well played. Welcome back to the tater-tot Hall of Fame.

Decided to try their happy hour deals here. We tried the michelada ($5), pretzel bites ($5), &…read moresausage party ($20). They had pretty good deals to offer. Michelada was decent tasting. We didn't realize the sausage party already included pretzel bites so we had double the amount of pretzels, our server failed to mention this to us. The food was unfortunately extra greasy, we felt so sick with all the grease that we couldn't finish it. The "pretzel" bites tasted like slices bread soaked in oil. The sausages were also all covered in oil. I would not have paid regular price for this food. Aside from that, staff was super nice. I just think they could improve on the amount of oil they use in their food!

Our party of three ordered the spicy garlic edamame (the BEST by far), tuna carpaccio, lemon cilantro roll, caterpillar roll and crusader roll. We also ordered the chicken fried rice for the first time. We like to pour the leftover garlic sauce from the edamame onto rice. Delicious.. recommend. We rarely have any complaints, but this time the a/c seemed not to be working too well. It was warm. But not enough to take off a star. The tuna carpaccio is delicious with a slice of mango, avocado and generous portion of seaweed salad in each bite. Plenty of cucumbers too. The restaurant was busy as usual and other than the a/c not working well, we enjoyed our meal very much!

We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, the kids cheeseburger and chips with guacamole with salsa. The chicken was perfectly crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. The fries were crunchy and perfectly salted, and my son loved his cheeseburger. The guacamole was pretty tasty, but I can't say the same for the salsa. It was pretty bland. Our server, Celeste, was very attentive and took care of us. I appreciated that she also went out of her way to move the umbrellas to make sure the sun wasn't in our faces. I loved sitting outdoors during sunset. It was quiet in the patio, and even though the ocean is in the distance, the view was lovely.

The Brussel sprouts were on happy hour which were half price at $8-they were delicious. My husband got the buffalo fries which were not good and the blue cheese had no flavor. Also, ordered micheladas and those were not good at all. The screens to watch sports are amazing. The waitress also came by to let us know that it was a smoke free area and to put our vapes away which we did not smoke just had them on the table, so I thought that was strange to tell us. The upstairs was not open even though they were full downstairs. If it wasn't for their multiple screens I would never come here to eat or drink.

Went here for my sister's birthday and it also happened to be happy hour. My parents were so excited for the half-off apps lol. We ordered almost one of everything, some things twice, and a couple cocktails. More specifically crowd favorites included calamari, truffle mushroom pizza, poke nachos, and ahi sashimi, but everything was good! My sister also received a complimentary birthday dessert. Our server was great! Appreciated her patience with my parents lol. They loved YH so much we came back for HH again the next time I came to visit. Service seems to be consistently great, even during the busy rush of HH.
