We came at the transfer from fall to Christmas decor and were thrilled to find a plethora of holiday decor! The shop is filled with classic and country style decor of all kinds, both fit for indoor and outdoor decorations. The staff is helpful and personable and clearly hard working, as the shop is beautiful and constantly supplied with the latest items. My aunt and I came out from New York and we had a great day. It had just started to snow so the grounds were beautiful. We spent so much time in this store and enjoyed every minute of it. There is so much to see. Literally ceiling to floor; wall to wall of Christmas decorations. It's beautiful. I had to take pictures of it all. I wanted to show everyone back home. We were so lucky when we came it wasnt very crowded so we didn't feel rushed; I love the ornaments I bought and my aunt was really happy with her purchases as well. We keep talking about returning, but it is a 6 hour drive from where we live. Maybe this coming year. Also, and the best part of the store honestly is the gentleman who owns the place. Not only are their melts long lasting, they create some of the best scent combinations of any company I have found. Their dedication to creating quality products and excellent customer service has made me a life long customer and fan. I love their melts, candles, lotions and car diffusers to the point I almost exclusively gift from their shop for holidays. When creating their store they have been incredibly intentional in curating a space that not only will showcase their growing range of products but has also given opportunity to other small, local businesses to sell their products. This commitment to their new community and giving space to help others succeed is incredibly admirable. I think I had an out of body experience today like - maybe - I'll explain... I had a particularly…read morestressful morning - very early and I deeply needed to decompress. I had to drive through petersham in my travels- not a typical route or regular drive but alas I actually passed this store, noticing the OPEN flag , I slammed a U turn to get a sharply needed caffeine boost and found myself in the most delightful spot in a seemingly desolate places when I say I walked in the door and it felt like - a waiting room to heaven door opened as a really beautifully laid out l, store, restaurant, local craft gallery and mini grocery market was laid out instantly as I floated in here. I took as many photos as a Middle Aged woman is permitted to take without looking like a fool - see the photos- while I waited for my turkey club sandwich on French (highly recommend) and loved every second of it. Ok so we have wonderful local and specialty wines beer, cheeses , pantry items , extremely micro vendors of local sauces, dressings, drinks and a lot more in the refrigerators and a ton of CUTE and adorable hand made functional art and crafts - including these "blind dates with a book" that instant stole my heart (see pics) and made me want to move down the road from this place. Sandwich was lovely exactly what you'd expect from a cute country store and deli but just elevated - and welcomed very much to my stressed and dulled palette To top off off I had probably the best service ever at the counter - like truly inspired me to have a better day every though I have to say it didn't get much better but I can say with confidence my visit to petersham country store was the highlight of my day and I cannot wait to come back and bring a friend for a relaxing morning of books, shopping and coffee here . I was almost overwhelmed with how much there as to take in here but in the best way!!
