Some companies manage properties. MAP Property Management (MAP) helped my family find a home…read more I first rented with MAP in 2013, and after moving away for what I thought would be a better opportunity, life took an unexpected turn. When my daughters and I needed a safe place to begin again, I reached back out to MAP, hoping they could help. They did. What they found for us wasn't just another apartment. It became our sanctuary, one that I could afford on my own as a single mom rebuilding her life. For the past 11 years, my daughters and I have been able to build a life filled with something we hadn't had in a long time: stability. My youngest daughter grew up in this home, attended the same schools from elementary through high school, and graduated alongside many of the same friends she made years before. Those everyday moments may seem ordinary, but to us, they were everything. Throughout the years, every maintenance request has been handled promptly, every phone call has been met with kindness, and I've always been treated with respect. I especially want to thank Laurie and Patty. They have been two of the kindest, most compassionate people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. While they manage the property where I live, they've become part of the reason I can proudly call this place home. Home isn't just about four walls. It's about the feeling you get when you walk through your front door at the end of a long day, knowing you're safe, you're cared for, and you're exactly where you're supposed to be. MAP gave my family so much more than an apartment. They gave us a place to begin again. For that, I will always be grateful.

As I searched for a new management team, I knew I wanted a company that offered professionalism, transparency, and modern systems. Specifically, I was looking for clear monthly financial reporting, online service requests for tenants, and a responsive, organized team. MAP has exceeded my expectations in every area. From the beginning, MAP handled the transition seamlessly and professionally. Their experience and expertise were evident in every interaction. In just six months, our property revenue increased, and we received positive feedback from tenants regarding the improved management and communication. Laurie, Sandy, and Patty truly make an exceptional team. Whenever I have questions or concerns, someone responds promptly. They also have a reliable network of contractors, electricians, handymen, and other service providers they can recommend, which has been incredibly valuable and time-saving. I appreciate knowing that the vendors they recommend are trustworthy and fairly priced. What stands out most is their commitment to supporting property owners. They are proactive, solution-oriented, and always willing to help implement changes or address concerns. Even during the sale of one of my properties, MAP worked closely with my real estate agent and helped coordinate communication with tenants throughout the process, which significantly reduced my stress. I highly recommend MAP to any property owner looking for an experienced, professional, and dependable property management company. Their knowledge, responsiveness, and integrity truly set them apart. I only wish I had found them years ago.

We felt it was important to find a company that represented the Landlord as well as the Tenants. Landlord protection and compliance is important but so is ensuring low turnover in your buildings. Yvonne and her team at Superior Management & Realty Services stood out as they had the perfect mix of Owner and Tenant representation. Right away we could tell she and her staff were knowledgeable and up to date on recent laws and compliance. They were able to find ways to improve our properties, ensure rents move with the market, provide monthly reporting and are always responsive to any questions and/or inquiries. Most importantly, Superior Management & Realty Services are proactive by instantly notifying us of any changes with the tenants as well as necessary needs for the property to ensure "pride of ownership." I highly recommend Superior Management & Realty Services. Brendan M. Mortgage Bank CEO

Your company is NOT a tenant friendly company! Nobody was trying to prevent any repairs! Let's it straight we asked how much longer it was going to take because it did disrupt us!! Very disappointed with this property management company. They have started using an AI chatbot…read moresystem to handle maintenance requests, and it is extremely frustrating when you are trying to report actual problems in your apartment. The system barely functions properly and makes communication feel impersonal and unnecessarily difficult. For example, I recently reported that our shower was not functioning properly, and the AI immediately categorized it as a "shower leak" and started asking generic automated questions instead of addressing the actual issue. It honestly feels like tenants are talking to a broken customer service bot instead of a real person who can help. On top of that, tenants are charged nearly $3 every month just to pay rent online through their portal. Even when using direct bank account and routing information, while rent continues to increase by 10% annually. For a company managing only a small 6-unit building, I expected better communication, better maintenance support, and more consideration for tenants. Unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing.

My experience at 524 W Greenwood Ave has been some of the most unnecessarily stressful of my 50 + years as a renter. Roberts client, and defacto mother/tenant have made it nearly impossible for Robert to have managed my tenancy properly. I want to believe, given the appropriate opportunity, I would have experienced a more favorable outcome. Robert, to my knowledge, has not been directly involved in the nefarious actions of his clients. The turning off of my heat and hot water on several occasions in the past month. The hiding of my trash cans. The theft of my mail and subsequent use of my bankcard by a family member. The constant harassment, verbal assaults, physical threats and finally lying regarding my exclusive use of a patio and then in retaliation, excluding it as a punishment. I believe Robert was acting in good faith regarding his client. However I have and continue to suffer greatly at the hands of his client. I can only close my eyes, click my heels together 3 times and repeat, "there's no place like home," and hope a house falls on top of his client. When I open my eyes I will be transported to the home of my dreams, on 3/2/2026, far, far away from this scary horrible place. I will pray for the next tenant!

Have had a vehicle mistakenly towed from my own business despite prior authorization from property management and was very rudely told to kick rocks and pay the $700 bill myself. Do not trust anything in their leases that can alter at any point, CAM fees are completely arbitrary as it seems they set their own rates and raise them as they please. I've paid over $10,000 more in CAM fees over 5 years than what was originally in my lease stating maintenance and amenities that are borderline nonexistent on the property, feels like a complete scam to steal more money from tenants with limited to no justification.

I was told by Danny that we would refund everything if only we moved out that month and it was already halfway through the month. Who is going to be able to find a new place that quickly?! After two pest controls visits there were STILL droppings from the vermin and live pests found all over the unit. The dishwasher that was originally in the unit wouldn't work because the vermin had chewed through the power wire! Not only that but i'm my wife is pregnant and I have a toddler and we were constantly displaced due to the things that needed to be addressed in the unit. Not to mention when I moved our fridge out of the unit so we could treat it for pests and the next day they had taken our fridge and stove! GONE! I have been in constant communication with Los Angeles Health and Housing Departments and things are going to get very hard for for them very quickly.

Staff and management are negligent and response to any question you'll most likely receive is "I don't know" Below outlines the most recent episode in the saga with plumbing issues. After several weeks of maintenance visits the issue persists. When we advised the office we were contacting Health Department they asked us to please not to and to allow them to fix the issues. We've allowed weeks to pass for a resolution...none yet. I've contacted the Health Department regarding the ongoing issues with the plumbing in the first bathroom in unit. Maintenance requests show that for the past several weeks we have reported plumbing issues with toilet in bathroom. This began the same week there was a team out here working on the plumbing. The Health Department suggests sending a notification in writing so there is a trace of contact along with the work order receipts for each time we have requested this online or by calling the ER number. When maintenance comes out they unclog the toilet but the issue is reoccurring and is a Health code violation. I am sending this message along with an actual written notice that I'll deliver to the office. We have been tenants for over 5 years not missing a rent payment. The level of neglect for this matter is evident. The Health Department also suggests along with sending this notification that I ask for any communication from Courtyards at Southcoast regarding this issue be in writing. This morning when contacting the leasing office my roommate states she was asked to NOT contact the heath department but rather allow courtyards to handle the situation as if this were the first instance of this. This is a repeated situation. Reason for complaint: For the past several weeks my toilet has either reached the rim of the bowl or has overflowed spilling contaminated water onto my bathroom floors. We do not use wipes or excessive amounts of paper. When maintenance comes out they unclog toilet but as soon as the next flush, water again remains in the bowl laying stagnant. This a Health and safety concern that has been negligected by Courtyards of Southcoast management.
