We had the best dining experience at LPC. We got their around open to make sure we got a seat, which was smart since it looked like it was getting packed as we left. (They do take online reservations). Food was phenomenal. We've tried a few of the newer Italian restaurants in the area and this one is our favorite! Based on server recommendations we tried the Bianca pizza, Pesto pasta and the Bolognese (owners mothers recipe). All absolutely delicious. There was a crunch to the pesto and so much flavor. Bolognese was a great comfort food and perfect for a cold night. Pizza was cooked to perfection and I loved the whipped ricotta. Service was A++. Highly recommend for a date night spot. read more

Let's start with the service Service = Stellar Jet our server was wonderful and such a sweetheart. When we entered in they asked/provided a table purse clip, so I didn't have to find a suitable place to hang my purse which is either from the chair or try to wrap it around my waist. The little touches like this are really special. This is a small place the tables are pretty close if you're not expecting it, but no different from one of our fav restaurants downtown. The apps were delicious. We ordered the mussels and the meatballs. The star was the meatballs, and the portion was a good size and just offer these two options we were wondering if we'd fit in the entrees. Great surprise! I know other mentioned that the entree pasta sizes are on the smaller size, it's is true per se. If you order an app like we did, we definitely took half our entree to go. I ordered the creamy pesto pasta delicious, but I will say it definitely tasted better on day two. Hubby had the Caesar salad, they do make their own Caesar dressing which is good btw. Hubby thought it was okay...guess he's not a salad person as he thought. We did make reservations the same day, but I will say that before our entrees arrived the place was pretty packed for a Weds. Walk in at your own risk. There is a bar with seating but not many. The ice cream bar is also over by the bar area. Had I not over done it with apps, I might have tried the ice cream as it looks delicious. We are liking the vibes and the music. We are 80s/90s peeps, so we enjoyed the variety and appreciated the Rob base song during our visit even in the upscale interior. We like fancy and real all at the same time Give it a try... you will like it. read more

Visited with a friend for a little girls night. Daily made reservations online and even arriving early, was seated immediately. Server took a little while but she seemed extremely busy and was so kind. My friend and I shared the mozzarella appetizer (so good!) and I had a pizza and her pasta. We also each had two drinks and they were wonderful. Only deducted one star because service was a bit slow. read more

Definitely on the pricey/upscale side but we came trotting in wearing casual clothes for lunch and didn't feel out of place. Our server was very very friendly and had impeccable timing throughout our meal. We opted for the truffle fries (amazing), and two pizzas. One margarita pizza and one Piedmont pie. Both were great and cooked exactly how I like them, slight char! My little one had an Italian soda which was handmade and delicious, almost a dessert by itself. My son had the NY cheesecake and it was spot on. Overall a great experience, just pricey for lunch. read more

The short rib pasta was delicious, as well as the alfredo with chicken pasta. The specialty drinks we ordered were also great. Our waiter was phenomenal, he had great recommendations for the food and drinks and checked on us frequently, but not too much. Great experience at LPC Kitchen. We will be back. It is a very small space so you definitely need to make reservations. read more

Very nice modern Italian place near Summerville. Inside is really aesthetic, nice place to enjoy a meal. They've got a good menu and nice wine selection. The pizza was slightly doughey for my taste but still good. Service was great! read more

When you're already planning your next visit before you've left the restaurant, you know it's a winner. LPC kitchen opened 5 weeks ago in the Nexton Hub (about a mile past Nexton Square) @lpckitchen aka Lombardi Pizza Company's menu is full of homemade pasta, New York style pizza with fermented dough, salads, and incredible desserts. Cocktails and a large wine list make this cozy eatery a great choice for date night. Make your reservation on @resy before they're booked out for weeks because this spot is going to be a hit! We're returning ASAP. Next door to the Nexton CO-Op read more

The food was delicious! We started with Garlic Bread and the Caprese Salad, both were savory and tasty! Next was the Alfredo and it was amazing! The service was fast and the staff were very polite and considerate! The ambiance was a naturally lit, large windowed room with an open kitchen. They advertise that they like it loud and the music definitely was a little louder than you would expect, making conversations a little more difficult, and I did notice a good portion of the music we listened to was more of a modern upbeat style as opposed to the soft Italian you would expect. All in all great place and great food! read more

Love love love LPC! Everything was so good. Pricey but good quality and generous portions. You can immediately smell the aroma of the truffle fries before it even comes to your table. My fav dishes were the meatballs and Bianca pizza. Def recommend trying their ice cream! Long-ish wait read more

The pizza here is delicious. After living in NJ my standards are quite high but I'd give the pizza 5 stars here. We had the Al limone pasta which was also delicious. The lemon taste is not subtle so proceed with caution if you don't love lemon. I do so I thought the sauce was a perfect mix of creamy and acidic. We also had the Calabria pasta which is described as a sweet and spicy sauce which is exactly what it was. My wife doesn't love a lot of spice but had no problem with this dish, it wasn't overly spicy. They did accidentally bring us a plate with chicken added which no vegetarian likes to be served but mistakes happen. The pasta on this dish was super al dente. The drinks, service and ambience were also good. I recommend giving LPC a shot especially if you're looking for good pizza! read more

Overall it was a great experience but I will say thag I walked away feeling a bit underwhelmed. I'd be more than willing to go back and try something else on the menu especially their pasta or another appetizer. The overall ambience was really lovely a little bit more intimate than I thought it was going to be. Had a really nice seat by the window, but it was pretty close to another couple that was there so that can always be a little awkward at first. service was really friendly, and Reagan was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We ordered truffle fries and a sweet and spicy pizza. The truffle fries were absolutely delicious and very hot when they came out. The pizza was good, but I couldn't tell if it was a little too oily or greasy or if it was just the thickness of the crust, but all of my toppings did not stay on the pizza and so it just kind of made it a bit difficult to eat, the quality of the ingredients was definitely top-notch so that was good and I thought the actual crust of the pizza was cooked well. read more

I did not have a good experience. I have dinned in a couple of times and decided to order take out for dinner. I order the pasta and it was completely dry. I ordered the bread and it was burnt. Restaurants get busy and no one is perfect but they dropped the ball completely at trying to rectify the situation. I called immediately and was told the kitchen was closed and it was nothing they could do. the manager Pauline refused to speak with me and never called me back. The third day I called and spoke with a host and she continued to relay messages but wouldn't speak to me directly and said there was "no proof" so a gift card under the price of the meal was all she was willing to do. I have pictures. so I'm not sure how there is no proof read more

Is 8:20 too late to sit down when they close at 9p? My wife and I wanted a quick bite to eat. We knew the time frame so we weren't going to camp out. As we walked in, I asked if it was too rude to sit down and grab something quick. The hostess looked at me, then down at the hostess podium and was noncommittal. She said "We can sit you at the bar or at a table." Not friendly at all. Knowing we were gonna be quick we sat at the bar. After a few minutes, the bartender showed up. She said "Hey, what can I get you to drink, and just a reminder, the kitchen closes in 7 minutes." We felt that two employees not really welcoming us was a sign that we weren't welcome. We decided to give them what they wanted, no more orders for the night. Listen, I get it, it was inside that hour before close. But there was still more than enough time for a quick bite. After all, it was well before 9 and definitely before the kitchen closed. You be the judge. If we are wrong, give the place a try. If you feel, like us, the staff was unwelcoming, stay away. Your call. read more

Hey all - I wanted to shared my very positive experience at LPC kitchen tonight and how excited I am that they're here! I made a reservation from their website for four. They called me today to inform me that while they were waiting for their liquor license we were free to bring our own wine. We brought four bottles... Also, no corkage fee for the time being either! Which is very unheard of for such things. I was seated right away while I waited for my friends. The service was great, and everything was super timely. They opened up our bottles of wine for us, and packaged our food up for us as well. More importantly than their great service was their fantastic food. I've been waiting for good pizza, and I can see myself and my husband going here often, or getting takeout. They are very upfront about their kid policy online and social media - kids are welcome, just no room for high chairs and strollers. There was one couple while we were there, and they were very polite about telling them their policy. Also if you're gluten free, they are able to accommodate that, along with vegetarian and pescatarian diets. read more

This place was AMAZING! I can't even put into words how good the food was!!! We ordered the fried mozzarella, pesto pasta, chicken parm, and another chicken pasta (can't remember the name) and everything was a 10/10!!! The deserts were also AMAZING! Cheesecake, doughnut balls, and churros 10/10!!!! The service was outstanding, and ambiance was nice!! I can't wait to go again when I come back home to visit! read more

The Worst Dining Experience of My Life--Avoid at All Costs I don't even know where to start with how horrible LPC Kitchen was. I wish I could give this place zero stars because it truly deserves nothing. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had, and I honestly feel scammed that I spent money here. First of all, the service was straight-up hostile. I asked to sit outside since I saw other people out there, and this woman--who I assume was a manager or owner--immediately started shaking her head aggressively, waving her hands, and literally yelling that the patio was closed. No explanation, no polite response--just full-on attitude like I had just insulted her entire family. It was bizarre and completely unnecessary. Then there was the atmosphere, which was an absolute joke. This place is supposedly an upscale Italian restaurant, yet they were blasting club music like we were in some wannabe Vegas lounge. Meanwhile, I booked a 9 PM reservation specifically to avoid families with kids, but that didn't matter--there were screaming children running around while people in baggy T-shirts and gym shorts dined on their $50 plates of food. I don't care what people wear to dinner, but if I'm paying that kind of money, I at least expect a place that feels somewhat classy, not like a chaotic chain restaurant. And don't even get me started on the food. I love Italian food, but everything here was randomly spicy for no reason. It's like they just threw in extra heat to mask how bland everything actually was. Who asked for spicy Italian food?! It made zero sense, and for what they charge, it was laughable. Speaking of overpriced--my $25 glass of bourbon was mostly ice. Not even the good kind, but a giant block that they automatically charge you for without even asking if you want it. I genuinely regret wasting my time and money here. This place is an overpriced scam with terrible service, a confused atmosphere, and food that isn't even remotely worth the price. Save yourself the disappointment and go literally anywhere else. read more

Wow what a spot!!! The food was fantastic! We had the gigantic meatballs and Pauline's Mussels for starters, they were both phenomenal! The sauce was full of garlic and flavor... we couldn't get enough of either! Then we had the Bianca pizza, so tasty!! Their whipped ricotta is otherworldly!! The restaurant is super vibey and fun and everyone was friendly and incredibly helpful! Thank you so much for having us, we will be back soon ;) read more

I went here on a date night with my wife. It was new and trendy. I really liked the decor and atmosphere. It was very popular / crowded which is a plus/minus. I had no issues with the service. The food was good. It was homemade pasta. My only issue is that the prices were quite expensive for the amount of food. I left a bit hungry. Overall, it was a good experience but to expensive to make a regular thing. read more

Ambiance is clean, relaxing, and cozy. It's great with friends or a date. The open kitchen concept is unique and interesting. The service is on point. Our food was spectacular, and reasonably priced. We started with the mussels, which had an amazing sauce that we later dipped the pizza crust into. Our main courses were the bolognese pasta, which was bursting with flavor, and had just a little spice, and a clam pizza, which we've never seen anywhere. It was overflowing with clams and had just enough spice. The crust was thin and tasted like something you'd have in Italy. The ice cream was also delicious! I can't wait to return! read more

Yumm! This upscale pizza place ferments their pizza dough for 72 hours. The result of fermentation is deliciousness as per my husband and daughter. I had the Bianca pizza with a gluten-free crust and I was taken over by it's delicious hand tossed crust so much so that even though I was super full after my appetizer I still ate three slices of my pizza. (My appetizer was the jersey boardwalk fries which I'd skip those and get the meatball appetizer instead as per my husband). read more

Amazing, homemade, authentic Italian food! Uptown hip vibe, small but very chic. Our server Vin was kind, helpful and as authentic as the food. Enjoyed the meatballs (don't miss this dish! Wow with crusty bread, whipped ricotta), margherita pizza and ... coce de pepe which they slayed. The only suggestion would be that the hostess area could be just a tad friendlier and welcoming. Maybe just a fluke though. We will definitely be back! Housemade Pasta Meatballs Neapolitan Whipped Ricotta read more

What a find! Knew almost nothing about this place when we decided to make a reservation. Pastas are cooked perfectly al dente. Pesto is exceptional and the chicken Parmesan deserves the raves it gets, one of the best I have ever had. Service was warm and efficient. Great date night place or to meet friends. Not a good option to bring the kiddos. read more

Overall the meal and experience was solid. I wouldn't say anything was memorable but definitely had no complaints. I thought the food was on the pricier side but was flavorful enough to offset. I recently LPC Kitchen which has a solid reputation, but my experience fell short in a few areas. The service was okay--our server did his job, but nothing that stood out as particularly impressive or above average. I ordered the Alfredo pasta, and unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked, resulting in a clay like doughy texture. When I brought this up to the server, he informed the chef, who then tried my food and said that it was supposed to taste that way. And when inquiring about a refund or at least a discount he said that this wasn't possible since the chef said that's how it's supposed to taste. Which personally is an interesting response. While the server explained this to us, I was disappointed with the response, especially after hearing such great things about the restaurant. In the end, the service was passable, but the handling of the situation and lack of compensation left a bad taste in my mouth--quite literally. For the quality of the dish and the price this was just not worth it. Despite the restaurant's reputation, I'm hesitant to return. read more

If i could give a negative star I would. Every appetizer and entree is spicy, whether it states that on the menu or not. Server carries dishes to the table with their thumb in the bowl/plate. They bring the salad out with the entree. They will not do more than one tab per table. I will not return or recommend. The menu is very sparce with items that are not Italian food as they describe, and the prices are inflated for what you receive. read more

The food here is insane. Absolutely delicious! The cocktails were great too. I was a little frustrated when we arrived because we got a table right near the host stand and front door that is very tight and there were other options available, but I understand seating is tough on busy nights like a Saturday. I would encourage the table we were seated at to be used as a last resort though - people squeezing by us and servers struggling to get through the walking area because of how tight the space is isn't a great look. Our service was pretty good, started off a little strange because the restaurant was busy (I assume) so we never got an introduction, just were asked what we wanted to order after a bit of a wait for water/cocktails orders. All in all it was a positive experience. My silly annoyance with the table was GONE after my first bite of our appetizer. The pesto pasta was one of my favorite pasta dishes I've ever had! You can tell that it's painstakingly made. Pizza was unique, perfectly charred and delicious. Cocktails were strong, icy cold and very yummy. Truly delicious and not a bad price point- right around 100 for two entrees, an app, 2 cocktails and a glass of wine. Would definitely recommend to friends! read more

while everything was clean and tidy. the food is the reason I WON'T be back. the 2 meatballs ..just was a flavor my wife and i both didn't like. That's not saying you might not like it. The pizza, on the other hand ,was disgusting. It was extremely thin ,as the menu said, but thin like cardboard with only tomato sauce , no cheese except for a few sprinkles of graded parm. Now i don't like spicy foods , my wife does likesome spice. This pizza was so OVER spiced that both of us could not eat it; and we sent it back for a fresh un-peppered one. Look at my photo. I colored in the lines showing how it was sliced. In squares and big and small triangles. Not the easiest to hold and eat for a $22 dollar pizza it lacked one thing...FLAVOR.. i will not be back once is enough. read more

Tried LPC for the first time, been wanting to check it out. We were a party of three for lunch. Overall the restaurant is tastefully decorated. Large open area with comfortable seating, and open kitchen. We all ordered small pizzas, pepperoni, clam, and Bianca. They all were very tasty in the Napoli style, very good under carriage, and tasty crust. I believe they were baked in a 700 degrees oven. I highly recommend as they also offer sandwiches and pasta dishes with an array of salads. Give them a try, very nice people too! read more

had reservations Saturday, Nov. 8th. ordered chicken Parmesan. We had date night here, and we definitely can't wait to go back. My husband and I each got an entree and shared a dessert for a pre reasonable price. The arribita(sp?) pasta is really good if you like a spicy red sauce and the parm pizza was just as delicious. My muddled blueberry mule was not the greatest, but I loved the fact they gave you the option of sparking or flat water to start. The service was quick and helpful, and there were plenty of other people there so we definitely didn't feel ignored or rushed. We will definitely be back. read more

We stumbled upon LPC Kitchen by accident and were delighted by food and beverage offerings. The bartenders were excellent, drinks were made with fresh ingredients and by the book. That was nice to see as so many restaurant bars just pour mixes and add alcohol. Kudos to the two lady's tending the bar that night. Just watching an Old Fashioned being properly prepared was an enjoyable experience. Good samplings were a salad and pizza. Both were delicious and just done right. Recommend to anyone looking for some basic food staples and an excellently equipped and staffed bar and kitchen. read more
