Mr. Lozoya I believe who came out to my property and cut some trees for me. All I can say is thank you and it was a pleasure meeting and having a conversation with you. I recommend your service to any one needed. The value and quality of work is awesome. read more

Job got done as planned. The price was right. We had a little back and forth with start date (our issue) and then finish date (landscapers issue). The only suggestion I would make is to ask what is included and do your own research on what you want included. We assumed a weed barrier would be included when installing rock but it was not made aware until install. Luckily we were able to install it ourselves but it's a question we should've asked or BEEN asked when we were given the estimate. Overall, we appreciate the job well done and would inquire again for a quote on future work. read more

Jesus is the best one-man operation you could ask for! He wants to ensure you're happy and does a great job for a fair price. Even without an extension saw, he was able to clean up and trim a few big trees for me and advise on treatment for insects. Definitely recommend for much more outdoor maintenance and installation work! read more

Jesus is awesome! He is very sweet and trustworthy! He beat everyone else's quotes and made our backyard beautiful! We didn't want to spend too much money, and for what we paid he definitely delivered. read more

Jesus Lozoya is the best! Watch the pictures and see the difference. Jesus is very honest. His price is competitive and quality of service is top notch. I highly recommend Lozoya. If I have more landscape needs in the future, I will definitely call Jesus first. Jesus非常靠谱！他是一个讲信誉的人，他的价格是我比较下来最低的，但是他的手艺和质量一流，我推荐他，如果我以后还有其他花园景观活，我一定先找他。 read more

I am so happy I saved his number! He originally landscaped my backyard about three years ago and he did an amazing job that I fell in love with his job. Now that I was in desperate need to fix my front yard because it was ugly and mistreated, I scrolled through my phone and was thrilled to find his number. Called him up and gave him some ideas of what I wanted. He came right away to look at my yard since it has been three years later since he was here and gave me a quote. He did an amazing job and can't thank him enough!!!! Thanks Jesus!!! :) read more

A fair price for work and the price that was quoted was sticker to. Jesus did an amazing job and went above and beyond. Not only pulling up scrubs and weeds, but also cleaning up the whole yard. Great work. We will bring going through this business again for sure. read more

I hate to leave such a negative review because he seemed so nice and to care about his work... but after living with the work he has done for a few months I have realized how many shortcuts were taken. I paid $8,500 and to my regret, gave final payment before the work was complete. I was shorted areas of pebble and additional plants that never went in, no weed matting placed underneath the new areas of pebble (so now weeds are growing rampant), full cleaning of the oleanders in my front was promised in and around the base was never provided, benches were to be built that were never built (and no credit given), the irrigation system he replaced is already failing and plants are dying left and right now. during the process he was consistently late and over promised. never a consistent schedule and would show up at random hours and days which affects privacy/security. all in all i feel ripped off and now have brought in yet another landscaper to pay 8k to fix all of his work. I am considering bring him to court sadly. Jesus your reply is incorrect. When we did the walk I specifically asked for these thing and also have it in text format several times asking for these things. Please do not be dishonest. I have saved all communications we had. read more

Very reasonable quote to fix irrigation system leak. On time, friendly, respectable, professional service. Thanks. Appreciate it. read more

Knowledgeable and friendly. Kind, too. Did a beautiful job trimming our trees. I will call him again!

He did a great job! Scheduled appt Monday evening and my backyard was done by Thursday night. Granted I just did zero-scaping on 1,000 sq ft but had DG, river rock, and red rock laid down. It looks great and the design is perfectly clean. Was really affordable too. Now I get to place some solar lights and yard art. read more

The owner of Lozoya Services, Jesus is great to work with. Truly a pro at landscaping, he created a beautiful backyard for our family. Jesus is friendly and easy to communicate with (great at both text and phone calls). He was also up front with the cost and helped us stick to our landscaping budget based on our wants and needs. I absolutely recommend him for any landscaping needs, in fact he already did my neighbors backyard! BTW, he did pavers in our yard and we just had a shed installed. The guys installing our shed was very impressed with how level Jesus had the pavers set - we didn't need additional leveling for the shed. read more

Great work by the team. Didn't feel overcharged and got what we were looking for. Would recommend.

Jesus helped us transform our backyard, just look at the pictures! He is incredibly hardworking and does quality work. We are so pleased with the results. Will definitely be working with him again in the future. read more

This guy came came out and fixes my leak right away. I was having problems with my current maintenance guy not showing up for not providing how to put work and this gentleman showed up and fix the problem and charged a very reasonable amount to do the work. Highly recommend this guy! I will definitely use him again for all my future irrigation and landscaping repair needs! read more

Not only one of the nicest contractors I've ever interacted with, but probably one of the nicest people I've ever met in general. Jesus gave us a great quote and stuck to the budget when specifics of the project changed. As a matter of fact, when Jesus was able to get a deal on certain materials, he offered to throw in some potted plants to make up the difference instead of pocketing some extra cash, which he very well could have done. I don't think most contractors would do that for you. My wife and I are extremely excited about our backyard. It looks beautiful, was done professionally and timely, and was installed to last. Jesus was integral in finalizing ideas for design, drainage, irrigation, and helping us to select plants, pavers, and windsor blocks. He even suggested that he would custom cut a different brand of stone to create our beautiful wall caps, instead of using the brand-matching ugly wall caps the windsor blocks were designed to use. Very glad we went with the custom caps. Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend Jesus and Lozoya Services to anyone that is looking for contractors for landscaping projects. You won't be disappointed. read more

These guys "no call, no showed" twice on me. I called on a Tuesday morning, they said they would come by on Thursday evening at 6:30. By 7:00 PM no one had showed up or called, so I contacted them. They said they were busy and that they would come by Friday afternoon. And again they didn't show up or call. Save your time and go with someone who will actually show up, a novel concept I know. read more

Was promised a quote. Waited around for Jesus but never showed. Why is it so hard to find a decent landscaper?

We just completed a back yard project with Jesus and couldn't be happier. We designed, installed paver, artificial grass, rocks and planted trees and plants. He gave us a fair price and it was worth every penny! He was very easy to work with, start and finish as promised, and his employees were very professional and respectful throughout the project. We highly recommend Jesus for your landscape needs. read more

Jesus readily shared his expertise and professional opinion on the redesign of the back and front yard, which included a paver patio and rocks. He pays close attention to detail and provides high quality work. He also, went above and beyond and fixed a broken sprinkler pipe without being asked and at no additional charge. He is very personable, easy to talk to and I felt that he really cared. In the end, I cannot say enough good things about him. In addition, to having a great landscaper that I highly recommend, I feel that I made a trusted friend. read more

Did a great job on our front and back yards. Price competitive and very friendly. He gets the job done. Recommended. Thanks Jesus!

I asked for a quote, scheduled it on a Saturday and he gave me an arrival time between 7 and 8. It's Saturday 938am and no call, no text, no Jesus. So, I sent him a text and he said he had an emergency. Ok, understand. Rescheduled it for Wednesday assuming it was arrival time the same. It's 810am, still no Jesus. Sent a text message, no reply. Another emergency? I do not know. The thing is, be professional and let the customer know what is going on. If you don't want to do the job, just let me know so I am not sitting here and waiting for you to show up. read more

I have used Jesus several times since his first visit. He did a wonderful job installing the synthetic grass in my yard. I wanted to do it myself but got tired of procrastinating. He installed weed cloth and compacted the chat (the base for the fake grass) AND shoveled all my river rock in only a few hours! He did a great job!! THANKS JESUS!! Very professional. read more

I hired them to do the monthly maintenance of our front and backyard. They did a great job the three times they came. I was expecting them every month as agreed, but Jesus completely stopped replying to my messages. He totally flaked and never knew what happened to him. His work deserves a 5 star but his reliability just 1 star. read more

I needed a service to install pavers in my backyard, and Jesus went above and beyond that! Jesus replies very promptly and is easy to communicate with. During the initial planning stages, Jesus was very accommodating to my schedule according to when I was available, and was able to start working the day after. Jesus informed me of all the necessary materials needed to finish the product, which was something that I greatly appreciated because I would hear very polarizing input from employees at other big name companies. Once all necessary materials were gathered, Jesus was able to get to work right away. The quality and speed of their work was excellent! Jesus and his partner, Raymond, had a great system going on. Everything was executed so well; from having all pavers leveled (with a slight pitch for rain to run off into the rock part of my backyard), precise cuts for the pavers, and working around the concrete slabs that were installed by the previous owners of the house. The measurements of the pavers were so precise, I don't feel the slightest shift of the pavers moving around on them. Jesus even offered to remove some vegetation that could have potentially damaged the pavers in the long term. I would like to add that I have two AC units in the back separated by a small gate, and Jesus offered to use the extra concrete sand and Type II to fill the uncovered area to provide a little uniformity to the yard. Given the scope of the job, I could have been charged an arm and a leg. Jesus provided an extremely reasonable price. My favorite part about working with Jesus is that you're treated like family. You can sit down with Jesus, have a meal, and develop a lot of rapport and a deeper relationship that goes beyond a company and their clients. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation and will definitely plan to utilize his services for future projects! read more

Jesus provided me a competitive quote for some landscaping work on one of my properties. What I really liked about Jesus is his consistent and timely communication. Jesus completed my scope of work and informed me he will be back next Tuesday at 8am to finish up on some work I pointed out at completion inspection. I would not hesitate to recommend Jesus for your landscaping needs. read more

We live in a townhouse with a small courtyard in the front. The area was ugly, worn and badly in need of an upgrade. I called Lozoya Services based on their Yelp reviews and Jesus was able to come out the same day and give an estimate. His character seemed very polite, soft spoken and professional. He gave an estimate (2nd one) that was within our budget. He texted me pictures of some of the paver work he's done and I picked the ones I wanted. He was able to update our irrigation system and lay pavers into our courtyard. He worked tirelessly wheelbarrow load by wheelbarrow load removing debris and bringing in new pavers, sand, heavy equipment and whatever else was needed to get the job done. I bought the Roses and he planted them. He did this work in less than 2 days and it looks beautiful! We look forward to enjoying our new area and I would always recommend this company for any job, big or small. read more

Jesus Lozoya is fantastic! He came out and tackled a huge weed overgrowth in our backyard. He meticulously cleared away all the weeds and left behind the very small shrub seedlings that were the result of seeds falling over the wall from our neighbor's butterfly bush. I reached out to him for help with another problem and he refused to charge us for it because he was out of town and didn't get back to me right away. When I told him I wasn't comfortable with that, he said "ok, you can give me a tip". He's a good man who does exceptional work. I highly recommend him. read more

Jesus has been excellent to work with. On time and even finishing the project early. Very skilled and knowledgeable when it came to our landscaping needs/wants. We had a vision and he made it happen, and quickly! I will be recommending him to anyone with landscaping needs. Wish I could give more than 5 stars! read more

First, thank you Jesus for the 3 'Ps' - Prompt, Professional, and Polite! If and when you need landscaping (minor to major work) that will not leave you unsatisfied, Lozoya services is the company you want with extensive experience and competitive pricing (reasonably priced against 4 other local companies). Lozoya was able to handle all of our landscaping needs, from sprinkler system repair to area beautification. Bottom line, I need a company that stands behind all its work. For these reasons, and for many others, you should turn to Lozoya Services for all your landscaping needs. I will definitely use Lozoya Services in the near future. Again, kudos to Jesus for resolving our mini swamp issue in the backyard and our sprinkler problem in a timely manner. Thank you also for staying within my budget - this was key for me! read more

My Mom's front yard was starting to have that abandoned house look! So as usual I go to Yelp for estimates. I was surprised at how many companies don't take small jobs! Several had minimums .. which Mom's little yard didn't qualify for. But after several quotes, we decided on Lozoya. Ok.. let's start by saying our business relationship started out rocky. I thought he was starting Sunday...but no.. he was starting Monday.. ok we got pass that. When he did start he tore out Mom's old patio and installed a beautiful extended space for her, repaired her irrigation system, planted beautiful low maintenance plants and cleaned up everything. She is so happy and so am I. read more

We had Jesus clean up weeds in my parents' back yard a few years ago. Just recently we had him clean up again because the weeds grew back. I would definitely recommend Jesus. read more

Jesus took thousands of dollars and stopped showing up. At one point he even asked for more money! I contacted the contractors board and it turns out he's unlicensed and was already on the boards radar. The board has recommended criminal charges against Jesus to the DA. At first, Jesus is very friendly and seems to know what he is doing. Unfortunately he proved that untrue. I had to pay another company to fix what little work was done. Jesus rarely was at our house and always had an excuse as to why nothing was getting completed and why he was never at our house when he said he would be. He sent two guys over who barely knew what they were doing. At one point one guy asked me what he should be doing today. They would pretend to work or sit in their car all day. Jesus would claim he was at our house working however our security cameras would show otherwise. This job was clearly over his head and he took our money and spent it elsewhere. Jesus did agree to give us half our money back but unfortunately Jesus intentionally wrote us a bad check. This week we also contacted the district attorneys fraudulent check department. If you do decide to hire him beware and don't give him any money upfront. read more

Working with this company was a pleasure! They were quick to come to my house to give me an estimate. The cost was very reasonable. Actually I worried because I thought the cost was very little considering the job. However, upon completion of the work I was thrilled to see the job was done exactly as it was promised to me. My yard is more beautiful now than it has ever been! I would definitely recommend Lozoya services to any resident who values quality work at an affordable price! read more

Contacted them to see about landscaping for our backyard. Sent a message per their request with details. No response.
