They are crooks when it comes to billing. Never saw a pediatric doctor only a nurse she didn't even catch pneumonia my Son almost died in the ER . They are horrible! After leaving them a truthful google review they send me a letter( this one I got ). Saying they don't want my son or me as a patient anymore. Like I would not get step foot in this place again. It's been years since we stopped coming here, although Lowry Pediatrics are still spamming us with emails and snail mail, despite repeated requests to be removed from all of their mailing lists. We were patients for two years but this clinic is problematic - they have far too many patients so they are stretched, they have uncaring providers who overlook medical concerns, the waiting room is overcrowded, and the administrative staff are deeply unfriendly. Read the negative reviews and take your precious kids elsewhere. read more

We love this office! Dr Scott has been awesome and so has all the staff for the past 6 years we have been going here. They go above and beyond for all three of my kids and we even moved 35 minutes away, and I will still be bringing my kids here! The negative reviews make me laugh, because I think some people are to sensitive to silly things. Some time people have bad days and receptionists can't be happy 100% of the time. Especially when people are rude to them first. Plus that doesn't reflect the MEDICAL OFFICE or what they can provide as a service for children. That is what the DRs and Nurses are for and they are all wonderful! I believe this office and ALL of the staff are fantastic and I would recommend this place over and over and over again! read more

Great pediatric practice! The MDs and NPs are so caring and work hard to figure out how to best treat your child. Very friendly and helpful. We moved and it was too far to go especially for sick visits. We were very sad to go to a new pediatrician. They are just not the same as what we are used to at Lowry. Always a speedy entry into the exam room wich was great especially for infants. They have a wonderful lactation consultant on staff Theresa and she is very helpful for new moms especially. read more

I love this pediatric office, I have taken my son here for almost 11 years and now take my daughter as well. They are always nice, we never have a long wait time, any time I have needed any of my childrens records they send them quickly. Both of my children see cara and she is amazing! read more

I love the doctors and the staff. You can always get in to be seen which is hard to find nowadays. What I don't love is every single time I take my kid to be seen they come home with some bug, almost guaranteed they will be super sick a day or so later. Even if you go in for just a check up, or when your kid is perfectly not sick. I am the neurotic mom who makes sure I've got hand sanitizer when I go here so I can keep my kids hands clean while playing with the toys, even that doesn't work. I wonder how often the waiting room or the toys/books on the exams rooms are cleaned and wiped down. Additionally every time you check in you have to go through and refill or reconfirm your info on a tablet, regardless if your information has changed, it's annoying I have to show up 15 min early to not give any useful information, knowing that all the while my kid is going to be sick playing with the germy toys. In turn, our whole house ends up sick. read more

I've been taking my son to Lowry for 1.5 years now, and when my next one is born, he'll go there too. Dr. Scott and Dr. Kristy have always been professional, kind, and helpful. I have definitely been a "lots of questions" first time mom and they've always answered my concerns or just curiosities with respect and attentiveness. It's great to call the nurse line and potentially save a trip in to the office. Generally, I only wait about 10 minutes or so before we're taken in for our appointment. Maybe once I've waited 40 minutes, but it's rare. This is a great practice! Before I chose Lowry, I interviewed, or at least tried to interview, with several practices that I was considering. Dr. Scott was definitely the most impressive. He was happy to meet with me one-on-one and free of charge. Other practices either wanted to charge me and/or wanted me to meet with a group of parents. We talked for at least 45 minutes and I just wanted to know what his philosophy is. We were very on the same page. I was comforted to know that if parents do not want to vaccinate their children, he tells them they will need to find a new pediatrician. His parenting/discipline style is moderate and all about common sense. After that meeting, I felt very confident that he would be a great pediatrician for my kids. My only wish would be that there could be separate waiting rooms and exam rooms for sick and well kids. My son and I both got sick after a visit here. Now I make sure to slather on the antibiotic lotion they have on hand! Several times in the waiting room, plus at least once in the exam room, and if we're waiting a while I'll even wash his hands in the sink in the exam room. But as for the practice, you couldn't ask for more attentive, knowledgeable doctors. read more

Dr Scott has been our doctor through two kids and five years. He is compassionate and attentive as is Dr Kristy. I have always been able to get my kids in for last-minute appointments or feel I can call the nurse help line for any pressing issues. This practice is inconvenient for us as we live five miles West now, but we continue to make the trek to Pediatrics at Lowry. read more

We LOVE Lowry Pediatrics. We see Dr. Scott - he is truly a gem. We feel so lucky we found him. He is so patient with us as new parents, and takes great care with our baby. He even writes him a note each time we are in (we are saving them in his baby book). Sharon is our lactation nurse, and again has been so patient and kind with me. She has helped me so much with breastfeeding, and they encourage me to call or come in as much as I need, they don't want me worrying about anything. The receptionists have also both been super kind and helpful - not sure what the bad reviews are experiencing, but it is not what we are experiencing. Me and my family have always had a positive experience at Lowry Pediatrics. I have a 2 year old and a 6 month old and both are seen by Dr. Leah Brown. She is personable, knowledgeable and great with the kids. They always take their time to answer all of our questions at check ups. We have also seen a few other doctors when our children are sick and we have to get in quickly. Everyone is always nice and make us feel confident in our children's care. read more

Do not go to this place. We went to get an ESA letter for my son, who has spectrum autism disorder. They were super friendly and helpful on the phone. We drove for 50 miles and they were super rude, talked bad about us behind the counter and treated us like absolute dirt. read more

If I can give it zero stars I would. There has never been a courteous interaction between me and any of the staff here at this office and fortunately this is close to my home and that's probably the only positive thing about this office. Nobody there is friendly not even the providers. And they guess on what could be going on and are never for sure I went to a second provider for a second opinion and was able to get my child's issue resolved immediately whereas with them my child continued to have an illness over and over again where we had to continue to come into the office over and over again. I am on the search for a better pediatrics office. This place does not care about your children's health they are more concerned about getting paid and making sure you Come into the office for any little thing even if you don't need to be seen for anything they still want you to come in. read more

we are from NY, visiting Denver for a couple of days. My 15 mo was sick and I wanted him checked by a pediatrician. I called at 9am and got an appointment at 10:30am the same day. we saw Dr. Scott Merenstein who was very gentle and reassured me with his prognosis. The promises are very nice and the waiting room is full of toys, sea world paintings and a real aquarium. my son has a lot of fun there ! I am very glad they could take him right away. the receptionist was very kind too, which is so rare (in NYC at least) read more

Dr Scott and Dr Kristy provided our pediatric care from my son's birth through his 9 month appointment when we moved away. I loved this practice! Every employee is awesome. The responsiveness to first time mom calls to the nurse's line were answered speedily by the nursing and doctor staff members. I felt informed at every visit and enjoyed the attentiveness of the staff. My questions were answered thoroughly. I was provided information to take with me at each well child visit. My son was extremely well-cared for and they even had mommy health questionnaires (which is awesome since new moms see their ob at 6 weeks). Having now experienced care with other pediatric offices, I can truly appreciate the superior performance and care at Lowry Pediatrics. Go here. We are happy with the care provided here. The nurses and PA's are kind and thorough. Sharon and Theresa are our favorites! The only thing I will comment on in terms of efficiency is, you must show up 15 minutes early for an appointment to answer questions that are unnecessary to the visit. If there are changes to the account, such as address or insurance, that should be a question asked when scheduling appointments. It's rather difficult to be in the waiting room with an infant for 15 minutes, waiting on the appointment time and answering the computer questions. read more

The receptionist is extremely rude - I received 2 phone calls from them within a 6 minute time frame, telling me to call & schedule an appointment for my son. We went here 1 time & did not have a good experience, so we never went back. When I called them about the phone calls, the receptionist got rude with me, insisting he's an 'inactive' patient, so she didn't know what to tell me & implied that I couldn't have received any calls from them since he's an 'inactive' patient. It wasn't until I told her that clearly I am receiving phone calls still as I just received 2 calls & voicemails from them. When I said that to her, she rudely said "I HAVE TO LOOK", she was very snotty over something so simple. When I insisted they need to remove my phone # from their system, she repeated that he's an 'inactive' patient, but, unenthusiastically said that she'll let her office manager know. That's what she should've done in the 1st place instead of arguing with me & then getting snotty with me about it. Especially when I'm at work, getting multiple calls from them. God forbid one has a serious issue, how one may be treated! This is just another example as to why we never went back. Besides the fact that my son is an adult already. He is realistic, yet well educated and doesn't give you some text book answer that you don't understand. He not only knew our son but took the time and knew what was going on in our lives. Dr. Scott is wonderful, experienced, intelligent, and down to earth. He knows how to communicate with kids very well. I was highly impressed. All the drs are available 24 hours a day. It's reassuring to hear your child's pediatrician tell you to call him at any time, even in the middle of the night, if you have a concern. He is willing to fulfill all your child's prescription needs, and they don't charge to fill out school forms, as other offices do. A friendly cheerful office with two patient receptionists and nurses. Five stars for Lowry Pediatric. We adore working with Dr. Scott because he is so calm, reassuring, and relates so well with my daughter. Moving to Colorado, we left behind a pediatrician we really loved and I'm happy to say that Dr. Scott and his practice more than met our expectations. We have been going there for years for routine check-ups but recent events have made me doubt that anyone there actually cares about the patients. My daughter was having problems and not only did they CANCEL two visits in a row after we took time off work, the kids out of school, AND AFTER TAKING MY COPAY, but they did NOT EVEN RETURN PHONE CALLS. We just recently moved into the neighborhood and had to switch pediatrics. We took our daughter here and they did a good job. They let us come in at a last minute notice and all of the nurses were nice and they were good with her. We will be coming back in the future. read more

The one star will be for the NP (Allison), who we saw for well-being visits, was a wonderful provider. The rest of the staff, especially the front desk, needs help. One of the staff members​ roll her eyes at me and talk negatively of me to another staff member, while I was still standing in front of her. I was asking to come back at a later time during their flu shot clinic, which was a zoo: the staff was yelling out names of patients when it was their turn​ but showed impatience when no one showed. Meanwhile, it is so busy that the place is very noisy and parents have to wait outside the office as children became impatient and many cried. These parents most likely did no hearing their names being called out. The staff did not attempt to walk the few extra steps needed to repeat the patients' names. I asked to leave my spot in line (the wait was a couple of hours, according to some parents already waiting) and simply come back later. But, I guess that offended the girl at the front desk and I deserved the attitude​ that a teenager would give to her parents when they forbid​ her to go out that night. Childish​ and highly unprofessional. There were more occurrences​ in the past that made me dislike their front office management​, but not enough that I​​ would not come back. I've been going to Dr. Scott M for over a year now with my 2 year old daughter. Not only is he great with her but the nurses and staff are very nice and welcoming. Never wait more than 5 min in the waiting room. Dr. Scott goes above and beyond answering any questions I have. Also a big plus for me is if my daughter is sick I can always get her in the same day I call. Even when I'm out of town with questions they promptly call back with answers! I HATE this office. First of all, the positive comments are what drove me to take my kids here. All of the comments reflect the doctors though, and I have yet to see a doctor and I've been taking my kids here for over 1 1/2 years. My appointments have always been set up with the nurses. Second, the front office staff really don't care about you or your kids. They are constantly having side conversations, and confirm incorrect appointment times. They really don't care how you got to the appointment as long as you get there to the minute. I took my daughter to her one month check up today only to be turned away because I was supposedly late. I had the correct appointment time recorded on my phone, and my husband confirmed the time with the office the day before. I showed up to find out that my appointment time was earlier making me 20 minutes late. The receptionist went to the back to see if my daughter can still be seen, and she came back saying that I had to reschedule. She basically called me a liar, and didn't believe that my appointment time was not what was in her "computer". All she said was "sorry". After sitting in rush hour with a screaming newborn in the back I was turned away. Even if my appointment time was earlier is 20 minutes really a big deal. Ridiculous. I will be finding a new doctor's office because of this. Though they didn't seem to care when I said I'll be switching offices, hopefully someone reading this review will think twice about choosing this place. read more

I brought my child in for breathing issues a couple of weeks ago and their Nurse (I think her name is Flo) was completely rude to my family and said that my child was breathing and Sh#@t to her receptionist when she came to get us out of the waiting room!! The Dr. (Dr. Scott) that we seen, was very nice and helpful, He would be the only reason why I would go Lowry Pediatrics. The other staff was also nice, but it just takes one apple to ruin the bunch!!! read more
