A few of the garden representatives seem to be standing in the far corners loading or unloading some garden supplies while the one lane customer service line gets longer and longer. I made my selection of mulch with no asking " can I help you, " The prices are good, but the service is better at their competitor down the street.

DONT COME HERE.. The lady that was working in returns was extremely rude and didn't have a clue of the promotion that was going on. The purchase of buying a drill comes with a free battery well the lady kept telling me it isn't free and even dropped the battery in front of me. She gave attitude to me and my finance and when I asked if the manger can help and once he did and worked it out she asked "how do they get it for free?" She seriously needs retraining in my opinion shouldn't even be working there. Hailey and Kerry were super nice and helped me through this process as far as the lady in returns she needs to be fired.. you'd thinking spending 100s of dollars in the building they would should some respect..

Management- please please call a cleaning service out ASAP. Your restroom is embarrassing! Ew is an understatement. I can't imagine how your female workers view this lack of basic sanitation. Things must be so poorly run there that this basic necessity has been so long neglected. Your patrons do not forget this kind of impression.

I have never really been a "Lowe's gal". Today may have changed my mind. My dad has been looking for a gas/charcoal grill. My dad had been in with my mom and a very nice sales gal helped him. He back in today and she helped him again. KRISSY was very knowledgeable and very patient with him. She was very honest about the different products and care for the grill......she worked with him on assembly and delivery. If I go to buy a girl she would be my go to person. AMAZING customer service. She made the process very smooth

Swing LOWE's sweet Chariot! Coming for to carry me home! Man Lowe's always have way more then your looking for, and sometimes is hard to find, but the staff is always really great and super helpful to a guy who know's about as much about tools as he does about micro-biology! Not much! Anyway they had the bike lock I was looking for, and also some outdoor furniture to sit on while we ponder what would look best outside our new home! The prices are pretty great, since the buying power of this massive store is second to none! I must admit I think Home Depot and Lowe's are pretty interchangeable from my point of view, but both are pleasant shopping experiences and I can't really complain about either!

    Spring is here!!!

I didn't want to pay the $$$ get the dealer replacement. I'd been to other hardware stores that had the right width of screw, but way too long. Anyway, I decided to give this store a try. I walked in and the person at the counter asked if I needed help. I told him what I was looking for. He directed me to the correct aisle, which end, and which side of the aisle. When I got there, there was already another employee there helping someone else. After he finished with the other customer, he asked if I needed help. I showed him my key fob and went to work to find something that would fit. Eventually, he found one and even screwed it in for me, which was great because I definitely don't have a hex wrench small enough for that screw. In the end, my bill was 99 cents plus tax. What a great deal, and great customer service!

They offered me to come back and pay, I was afraid i would forget. I shopped instead. I knew I probably needed more items. When I checked out, the woman asked me if I was going to put the phone holder on my bike now. I said yes, so she followed me out with a screw driver. The screw was too short, so she went in and got a bigger one for me. You don't get service like this anymore.

I was there at roughly 11 am on Tuesday, March 15, 2025. the problem involves a man and a woman, both of color and in late 20s or early 30s. This info is given just in case the manager of the garden center would like to start doing his/her job. I was loading 1.5 cu ft bags of soil into my cart when I noticed a skid 30 ft away. I rolled my cart less than 10 feet past the two employees described above who were leaning against shelving casually engaged in conversation. I had passed within just 3-4 feet of them. I started to unload the 4 bags from the cart onto the skid. When I looked up hoping that the guy would offer some help, I saw that he had turned his back to a 74 year old customer who was visibly huffing and puffing as he continued his conversation. That done, I went back to the soil location and added another 2 bags to the skid. After leaving the check-out I approached a managerial-looking woman who said that she was the front of store manager. I told her about it and she walked away and said nothing. So now I went out to my suv and loaded the 6 bags of soil into it. I drove to the outside of the garden center and stopped the car. That same guy was in a different location but within my view again leaning against shelving and casually chatting to someone (I couldn't see if it was the same woman).

The things that make me like going to this Home Depot... 1. They offer a veterans discount. Not much... But it pretty much covers the sales tax here in Iowa anyway... It's easy to sign up for and add to your app if you have ID.me setup. Once it's in your app you just scan the QR code for the discount when you check out. Like any other Home Depot or Lowe's no one is EVER around when you actually need them. And I've learned to deal with that... Lol Parking is easy. The lot is huge and the store is fully handcapped accessible. They do offer a special parking space for veterans as well (one spot). Now I looked hard and far for anyone claiming to sell exterior ceiling paint. I even asked the clerk to show me a can of paint labeled "exterior ceiling paint" which he wasn't able to do.
