We stopped in here recently to check out refrigerators. They have a nice big selection. I appreciated the different brands as some other stores only have a few brands to choose from. They also had a great sale going on. The lady working in the area was nice, but didn't follow you around trying to sell you things. When we did need help she was able to get us the answers we needed. Ordering our fridge was easy and with the sale made it pretty affordable. The store was clean and anyone working that we crossed paths with was nice. read more

On Memorial day purchased appliances and was told they would all be delivered and installed. A lady put the order together for me and assured me it would be. The appliances were supposed to come on June 5th. on June 2nd, I received an email with a video linked and said to have my appliances out so that the new ones could be installed. I confirmed this, twice and the associate told me And if they were not moved they would not install my appliances. I made sure the old appliances were moved out of their places by June 5th. I checked the status the morning of June 5th, and delivery was still scheduled for that day. I waited and waited and in the afternoon, I checked back online and it now had a delivery date of June 16th. I was not called, or messaged, or emailed regarding this change. Problem is I had my appliances moved for the install, like I was told to do, and now I did not have a way to cook for my family nor had a way to refrigerate my food. I called Lowe's customer service for help and the associate said the microwave was not there so they moved the whole order. The gentleman helped me out by helping to get the stove and fridge delivered the next day. He said call back and I would be compensated for the inconvenience and food I had lost. When I called regarding this, I was told later by an associate, "yeah Sorry we don't do that" even if things were delayed and it caused obvious issues for me to feed my family at the time. The next day the appliances arrived. The stove was installed and hooked up by the people who brought it; however, the fridge had looked like it was beaten with a ballbat, so they took it back. I contacted Lowes discussed, they set up a new fridge to come on 6/26. Bear in mind, I was told to move all my appliances so I had none in my kitchen at this time. No refrigerator, no microwave. Luckily I was able to get the stove and they installed it, and the dishwasher came on June 5th and was installed. The microwave came finally, a gentleman came in, sat it on the floor and left. He said he doesn't do installation, just delivery. I called Lowe's several times and they said if I was told they would be installed that wasn't true, despite the fact they installed every other appliance except the microwave. The fridge was just delivered last week. I called numerous times and discussed this issue in the chat numerous times. I was even hung up on a couple times and sometimes the chats would close unexpectedly. I at one time asked to talk to a supervisor and was told no, it would not make a difference. I asked if I was being denied the chance to talk to a supervisor, the associate still would not allow it. When I asked how to print or email the transcript of the interaction , he said no and the conversation abruptly ended:disappeared. Last week I called again and the gentleman said it looked like they were supposed to install it and he gave me the number to schedule the install. I called it and they said sorry, they wouldn't install it. I went to the store I was told they dont do installs after it has been delivered. I could return, but it again (for a higher price ), and then buy install. I At this time, if I had other options of getting these appliances out of my house to return I would cancel and return everything.. I was told at the store I could return and buy an installation at that time. Honestly, I would think with all this mess and inconvenience the least Lowes could do is have someone install my microwave. I was told when I purchased and again the few days before it would all be delivered and installed. I was told now that was a lie, and sorry the associate was deceptive. I still have no usable microwave from an order 6 was ago. the least Lowes could do is send someone to install this microwave without costing me more. I sacrificed time at work, the ability to cook for my family, food that went bad due to not getting the refrigerator, and many many hours on the phone to deal with this problem. read more

We are building bookshelves at our house and needed just a few items to complete the job. We decided to go to Lowe's. I highly recommend using the Lowe's app or website if you want to get in and get out quickly. They have so much stuff and so many aisles it can be impossible to find what you need. We use the website to select our store and then when we type in what we are looking for it tell us exactly what aisle and bay to find it. It is so much easier than tracking someone down who may or may not know where everything is. We did stop by the paint counter to get some white paint and the lady who held us what not very friendly. We were trying to get the exact same color we had previously bought at Lowe's and she was telling us they didn't make it. We had to find a picture of the paint can and show her. Stopped to get some carpet cut. Two Lowe's associates were at flooring desk. I ask for assistance with carpet cutting. He pages overhead. The other associate he was assisting was paying for a flooring install while she was on the clock. I waited over 10 minutes and when I went back to both of them he ask " are you still waiting" I said yes and he turned back to his conversation with the Lowe's employee. I ask him to call a manager back he ignored it. When I walked away I ask his name went to the service desk where another wasn't willing to assist. Two people on the front of the store didn't get any management to assist. I left Went to Wilmington pike Lowe's where they always help. read more

Helen at Customer Service was nice and offered to help after hearing our story. She was going to place an exchange claim into the system for us. She even followed up to let me know that she could no longer do that and I would have to call Lowe's directly. From there it went downhill. I am a disabled veteran and was moving to Ohio. We needed a new washer and dryer at our new house. Though not moved in yet, my wife was passing through for the inspection of the house. We set up a delivery from Lowe's of our washer dryer. Lowe's showed up with the items but noted that the dryer was damaged in the back. They assured her it was only cosmetic and offered her a 10% discount. She spoke on the phone to the Lowe's rep offering her the discount. That rep reaffirmed to her that if the damage was more than cosmetic they would replace the dryer with a new one. She accepted it. The Lowe's delivery men plugged it in and the LED screen turned on. At no time did they turn the dryer on to hear the drum rotate. The delivery men turned it off and were gone. Days later we all moved into the house bringing all our worldly goods including laundry. Using the dryer for the first time, we found it didn't work. The damage was not cosmetic as Lowe's asserted. When we called them up seeking the promised exchange for a dryer that worked, Lowe's told us we were now outside their 48 hour return policy. We asked: what about your assertions that it was only cosmetic and you would fix it if not? Nothing. They won't even come pick up the dryer they damaged. They knew they had damaged it, could see there would be no laundry done in the next 48 hours, so they didn't test it and got out as fast as they could. Now they hide from their fraudulent representations behind their narrow policy claiming there is nothing they can do. When we purchased the dryer, we were naive enough to think that Lowe's would deliver a new, functioning product. The take away is you don't get what you pay for and cannot assume that what you purchase will be in working order. read more

The Lowes in West Carrollton, OH is my favorite location to pick up my mulch, topsoil, and garden supplies. They are super organized, and I can get in and out quickly. I simply pay, pull up on the side of the building, they load, and I am off to do my gardening. I am a woman and have trouble lifting those heavy bags of dirt. The men that load are always very courteous, helpful, and eager to help. I really appreciate the Lowes West Carrollton location! Would give no stars if I could. AVOID buying any appliances here that you have to have them deliver. The amount of unprofessionalism is absurd with their customer support. O and good luck calling the store for help you get told there's nothing they can do. They lost a part on install to our fridge on delivery. Then it took 4 hours just to get someone on the phone to get help after multiple times the system hangs up on you after 35 mins! Then when you do get someone they are incredibly rude and unhelpful. Today was so post to be our exchange and replacement day. The lowes truck shows up only to be told Lowes didn't give him a fridge to swap it out with. Already been hung up on after the 35 min mark. So like I said AVOID this stores delivery option save yourself the headache and frustration. read more

I bought a refrigerator and stove in February 2024. The delivery team had trouble with the refrigerator and claimed they needed to move a hutch out of the way in my living room. I was stuck in my kitchen, blocked by the refrigerator. Without my permission, the delivery team grabbed the hutch with everything on it and began shoving it, breaking the legs and dumping everything on/in it on the ground. Then they kicked my belongings aside, and stepped on what was still in their way. I took pictures of the damage and filed a complaint. Lowes referred me to a third party, claiming it was a contractor and not their responsibility. I again had to explain what happened and send pictures to Maersk, who informed me it was yet another party that was responisble for the delivery, Barnes Tucking Enterprise. I was told Maersk had forwarded my claim, and then received a letter a few days later from Barnes saying my claim was denied because the delivery team lied and said I moved the hutch, and legs 'fell off'. I have problems with my back. There's no way I could have moved that hutch, and as mentioned, they had me blocked in my kitchen. Maersk then told me to try to call the company directly, after Barnes had the gall to not only damage my furniture, but call me a liar on top of it. I've heard nothing further from Lowes, and Lowes seems to have washed their hands of it all. This is unacceptable. It was Lowes' contractor, and ultimately, their responsibility. I will not be doing further business with Lowes, or either of the two independent companies involved. read more

Creating an update: today is washing machine delivery day and we have been informed that the machine we ordered and paid for is not in stock. The employee that so rudely completed our order in store did not check the stock of washing machines. I am very disappointed and wish I knew before today that I wouldn't be able to get a washing machine, so I could have taken my business elsewhere. read more

I purchased a refrigerator from the local store at 2900 Martins Dr West Carrollton, OH 45449 on 2/8/2020 to be delivered tomorrow (2/18/2020). I called today to confirm that delivery and found that 1) they had no order under my phone number and 2) they did not have a refrigerator to deliver. Of course, they have already processed the charge on my credit card. I spoke to a manager who told me it would be about two months to get what I purchased. Alternately, they could provide me an "upgrade" to a brand/model I have already ruled out while initially shopping. I chose a full refund of what I paid. I then spoke to the store manager who apologized for the problem but could do nothing else. How can you sell what you cannot deliver? I took my business elsewhere. read more

I asked the girl at the paint counter to add a little more black to a paint I was purchasing, and she didn't even try to hide how put out she was by this request. She had an attitude during the entire transaction, did not say thank you, nor did she say your welcome when I thanked her for adding the black to the paint. I called the store to speak to a manager, was literally on hold for 20 minutes before an actual person picked up, and he barely apologized. I'll go to Home Depot from now on. read more

I am writing this review to share my story and hopefully make others aware of the chances they may take in spending large amounts of money at Lowe's on big ticket items in the event that an issue arises with their purchase. I purchased about 1200 sq. ft of Stainmaster (top of the line) carpet for our basement the first week in December of 2022 from Lowes by the Dayton Mall. The total cost of the carpet was $8200. The new carpet was installed into our basement a few days after Christmas. After installation, I immediately noticed that there were blue streaks in my new gray carpet and a zig zag pattern in certain areas of the carpet. I immediately called the installers that were contracted through Lowes, Ultimate Home Services. They had one of their workers come to my home the next day to look at the carpet and take photos. He told me that we had received defective carpet. I then had to file a claim with Lowe's in order to try and get the carpet replaced. After numerous phone calls and hours of my time, I finally received the replacement carpet on April 20th, 2023, almost 5 months after the original purchase date and 4 months after they first installed defective carpet. The installers came to my home on that day, removed the 1st round of carpet that was installed and brought in the new carpet. They then brought me downstairs and told me the new carpet was defective AGAIN and they didn't feel comfortable installing what they knew to be defective carpet. There were cuts in the new carpet and the backing was pulling off. This carpet should have never even left the store. The installers then took the carpet back and called Lowes to let them know the situation. I now have NO carpet in my basement of which I originally had and am $8200 short in the bank. It has now been 2 weeks of phone calls and nonsense from Lowe's to try and get my money back which I have not received. At this point in time, I feel that they have basically stolen from me. I have no carpet at all now, and they are trying to have me file another claim in order to get refunded my money back, a process that I know takes months to complete judging from the initial claim was filed. My experience has been a nightmare and nobody seems to really care about the consumer at that store. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Lowe's Complaint #: 1-33558304192 I submitted a complaint via email as well as phone regarding a vinyl fence product delivery & installation issue. Bottom line: Lowe's made an error and now they won't step up and correct it. My experience with the vinyl fence has been HORRIBLE! The communication, accountability and professionalism from all groups are seriously lacking. The store says one thing, the install coordinator says another and then you get something totally different from the sub-contractor... that is if you can get them to call you or share information. I took two vacation days anticipating the fence install (per the information given to me from Lowe's) and the installers did not show up - or call - either day. I had to call around and try to figure out what was going on. Two guys finally show up around 11 am one day... again without calling... and stayed until 3. I wish I had these work hours. Not to mention, they were not very efficient. The back gate of my fence was installed incorrectly. I spoke to the installer and he said that he can only go by the drawing that Lowe's gives them. Well, I called Lowe's... spoke to Tim and he told me that the issue would be fixed on the backend... meaning a credit. After the entire fence was done... which took way too long in my opinion... there were dirt and rocks all over my yard with the fence posts not filled in. I have pictures of the damage done to my yard, as well as the empty fence posts. Lowe's came back out to look at the damage and I actually have the Lowe's employee recorded saying that the fence install is the worst he's seen... Guess this doesn't mean much to Lowe's employees, their supervisors or the corporate office, but given my experience with Lowe's, it is not surprising. I have been in contact with Yemi to discuss my fence installation over the past few months... yes, months! Unfortunately, now she will now not return my calls. Of course it comes down Lowe's correcting the situation with a refund and they are either offering $200 or nothing. The damage to my yard alone is more than $200. This company is the absolute worst. read more

At this Lowe's, every time I walked past an employee they greeted me and asked if I needed anything. The store was clean and tidy. I was able to find what I needed & get out unscathed. She seemed very frantic and stressed, but shouldn't take it out on patrons. Definitely should be coached on better customer service. You always see those Lowe's commercials about them being helpful and friendly, and I've always rolled my eyes at them and mumbled "yeah right". I take it all back with this store. We were greeted, pointed in the right direction, and when we were near where we thought we needed to be, another employee asked if we needed help and walked us to right where we needed to be and even answered some (dumb) questions of ours and helped us pick the right size wire, since they didn't carry the size we needed. Then he even pointed us on the direction of the tools and told us which ones would be best to work with what we got. It was seriously a great experience. I love Lowe's!!! its big and full of GUY STUFF! i am always interested and wanting to do a new project every time i walk around a Lowe's and this one is really nice. when i was visiting this time my buddy bought a play set and a big one at that.. that was a treat to put together :) the power tool section will get ya every time and they have everything you need for you house indoor and out here. i love the 10% military discount i get so i will always go to Lowe's for my home projects the staff here rocks! they are alway friendly and fast to find you what you need and if they don't know where something is they will make sure they find someone that does. read more

I purchased a Black Stainless refrigerator in September 2020. On a pickup later, so my guys go to pick-up the refrigerator about a week later it's been re-sold. Not only did they resale the refrigerator Lowe's kept our money as it was mysteriously unsold yet sold to someone else. After which the only record of payment I had was my receipt which can no longer be found in Lowe's system, I had to go to the bank get a statement from that purchase in order to get my money back. It gets better so I purchased another refrigerator Black Stainless Brand New in the box on November 1, 2020, the manager Dan whom was aware of the last situation assured me it was a mistake which wouldn't happen again. So I made the new purchase for pickup up later. On 11/6 I was diagnosed with covid-19 my guys went on 11/7 to pickup the refrigerator Lowe's couldn't find it. Yet the refrigerator was tagged FIVE TIMES and written in BOLD HANDWRITING NOT TO RESALE with our phone number on all FIVE pickup later tags and receipt. I even took a photo of it tagged. On December 19th I went into to store not feeling the best and requested Lowe's delivery after Christmas on the 28th, no one showed up with the delivery or called. I go back to the store on Jan. 2, 2021, the drivers supposedly never found my order. Candy at customer service then tells me a manager will be in contact or order me a New Refrigerator I agree to just order another one. Fast forward till today Jan. 28, 2021. I have no refrigerator, no refrigerator on order, or a refund. Because guess what once again mysteriously they can't find record of my purchase, no receipt of the transaction on file in Lowe's computer system. However I have a company tracking spreadsheet with all the transaction information from 2020. I go into the store last night and the manager Steve says he can't find anything in the system pertaining to the purchase. I kindly that's ok I'm sure Cooperate can sort it out, he smirked and said there's nothing cooperate can do about your issue. They both acted as if they could care less that I was unhappy with my buying experience. I have been on the phone trying to call the Lowes located in West Carrollton/Miamisburg Ohio for 30 minutes. After 6 attempts of calling the install dept., appliances and asking to speak with a manager all with the same results. The customer service person transfers you to a the dept. no one answers the phone. It goes into a rotation of multiple rings none of which gets answered and then it just stops ring. As I am writing this review, still on hold for a manager I am told the manager is not in. They are trying to transfer me to a dept. manager. At this point still no manager, not dept. person. The customer service rep just came on the line and said who are you holding for. I could not make this up. I explained again my reason for calling and she said oh, let me have them call you back. I am not holding my breath on how long that will take or if anyone calls back. Home Depot let's try you. read more
