Store is fine but appliance delivery has problems. Lots of automated texts but trouble coordinating with different departments. Ordered in store a refrigerator and required installation hose. But fridge was delivered before the hose which somehow was delivered from a different warehouse. I had called and talked to multiple people at store and in delivery to warn them the hose on a separated delivery was going to be a problem. 3 different people assured me they would make sure it came with or ahead of fridge delivery. But didn't happen now fridge is installed by nice delivery guys by the way but they had no new hose. Now I have spent 90 min navigating through automated phone systems and 3 different people. A nice delivery manager finally called and said he will arrange for next delivery person to install new hose. Altogether a very frustrating experience with too many separate departments and subcontractors involved with poor communication. Lows is using numerous automated texts and emails but this is just confusing and no substitute for their people talking. read more

Folks, If you need lumber don't go here. Waited for Hour and Half for Someone to Actually provide Service for 4 pieces of 2x12 boards. The Lumber Department Mgr. Dan told us he needed to clean up a few boards and then would help us. He cleaned up those boards, but then left the area. Another worker Jousha said he would help. So, after 30 minutes told him we're still waiting, he said needed a forklift. Guess what another employee came and got the only working forklift that Lowes has!!! I then asked how long, he a few minutes. After another 20 minutes I asked are We going to get HELP or not? He said let me go and check. Meantime Dan is talking to another Man, and does not even make eye contact with us. Finally Jousha drives back with the Forklift and gets our Wood down. Yes Folks this is Sunday afternoon and your Lowes has One Person Helping everyone in Lumber, while his Boss is carrying on a 45 minute Conversation!!!Shout out to Wheeler who did our Lumber Cuts for us and help Jousha load the lumber. This message is for Diego Fanale, or whoever is over this store and rhe worthless people who have cost me a day of work and ruined a c99liut . I bought a grill on 5/18 to be better prepared for a retirement dinner for a fellow fireman. I took time off today to accept delivery of the grill that I was told by text would be here between 1-5pm. I began to worry around 4pm and checked online to see it was slated for a Saturday delivery (two days late)...I called and spoke with customer service to explain what was going on, and after pulling the order up rather than tell me the order wouldn't be delivered she sent me to delivery who never answered the phone. I called back and asked for a manager. "Mark" picked up the phone, pulled me up on the PC and told me he'd call me back once he figured out what had happened. That was over an hour ago. This is the most pathetic excuse for customer service I've ever had. My cookout is tomorrow and now I don't even know what the status of the grill is. There is no accountability here, or else "Mark " would have someone assemble and deliver that grill even if it meant paying OT and loading and delivering it himself. As it stands, no one is held accountable, and thus no one cares. You, Sir are responsible for these employees and the fact they don't care about your customers. You are the reason I'll spread the word to all the firehouse on the county of how you've treated one of their own and I'm sure a lot of us will choose Home Depot from now on. David read more

One employee was walking around talking on his cell phone on speaker while the person on the other end was complaining about how poorly the company treats them. We like this store, not as crowded as Woodruff Road and has a decent selection of what we need. It's fun to wander the aisles while looking at new stuff and the garden selection is lovely. Customer service is good and we always use the military discount...but seriously, one register open with the line backed up with nine customers is unacceptable. read more

I recently moved and needed some things for the new house. They only have self-service at this store. I don't want to scan my purchases. At my stage of life, I'm not a cashier, nor do i want to be. There were two guys standing nearby, and I asked the clerk, Amy, if they were managers. She said they were. I went over to them and complained that there were no cashier stations open. The one guy told me it was corporate policy, and I could call them. I said I would. As I turned to walk away, the one guy said, "Have fun with that." Went to buy a garage door opener, got down to where they were and they decided to close off the aisle. I asked, could you give us just a few minutes to pick out what we need? She said, I'm sorry, you need to go to the other end of the aisle, we are closing this one. As we walked to the other end of the aisle I was telling my husband she could have given us a few minutes, and the employee on that end started mocking me. Sooooo.....we left and went to Home Depot...walked straight in and purchased a $200 garage door opener. Customers pay your bills sweetheart....you lost a $200 sale because you couldn't wait 5 minutes. Not going back . I would have given no stars if it had been an option. It's a little further from home than the Woodruff Road location, but so worth the extra mile or two. Never crowded, ample parking, easy to access from the highway... all reasons to visit this store. Who doesn't love strolling through Lowe's! Now it's flower buying time so we have been a number of times already. But here's the problem...we were looking at some gardenia bushes but so many of them were dried out and pitiful looking that we hesitated. Not just the bushes but a number of the potted flowers and plants were dead as a doornail. Made us want to get a hose and water everything. We did let an employee know but somebody needs to be monitoring the irrigation. Yikes! Other than this issue, everybody is so friendly and helpful when ever we have questions. I wish I could give this particular store zero stars. Worse Lowe's location that we've ever been in. Nobody ever picks up the phone no matter which department you select. Does anyone even work at this store? I've tried for over a week to get someone on the phone and have called 9 times today, entering different department numbers with no luck. It's like the place has no employees at all. When you go into the store it feels as if they just hire anyone who walks in off the street due to their lack of general knowledge. I bought two gallons of paint and had to wait a few weeks to paint due to some delays in life. After painting a bathroom and room I realized I needed more paint. I went to take a picture of the can and grab my paint color to my surprise it wasn't the color I picked. I pulled the paint chip up to the wall and surely enough the lowes associated marked the right color but gave me the one next to it. I don't have time to repaint these areas right now and I have to finish the job. So guess who's not happy at all with her wall color now? Took 70 minutes to purchase a toilet. Went in knowing model # wanted; located the person in plumbing for that shift who didn't know how to operate computer. He called for supervisor "Jay" who told him he was too busy to help. Salesperson got 4 other employees from other departments to try and help. None knew how to add installation cost to the order. (All department installation screens are supposedly different, I was told.) All 5 employees asked "Jay" for help who refused to come. Not upset at employees who have not been properly trained, but very upset with store manager who will not assist employees when they ask for help, and in turn, help customers. Was told he does this often. "Jay" needs to be promptly caned in back of the store and then sent looking for a job that he can fulfill; customer service is not Jay's strong suit. read more

We went to Lowes 2 times in the flooring section and neither time were there any associates around. First time didn't matter much but the 2nd time we were ready to buy all our flooring supplies. After waiting a few minutes we tried both Call Assistance buttons which BOTH did not work. We found a very nice associate from the kitchen area that tried to find both associates that were supposed to be working in the flooring department and couldn't find either one. After waiting over a half hour we left and went to Home Depot where we purchases everything we needed. Poor customer service cost Lowe's a lot of money yesterday. read more

My spousde and I were very shocked by the poor service from Lowes for installation services. We chose to use Lowes to install a new vinyl fence (cash payment!) on our property after a tornado wiped out our old one. Unfortunately, while they were on our property, they cut through our irrigation line causing $200 of damage and they made us pay for their mistake - not a huge deal. But on top of that, before they installed the fence I noticed that the packaging stated a cheaper brand than the one I had paid for. I pointed that out and asked them if they were sure they had received the correct fence. They said they were sure it was the right one and continued with installation. When the fence was up, I saw the installation manual which was for the incorrect brand! I did some digging and reached out to the distributor and was able to confirm that they had actually charged me for the more expensive fence but instead installed a cheaper, lower quality fence. When I called Lowes they realized and confirmed they had made a mistake. I've tried for days to get some kind of resolution on this issue and they keep saying they need to think about it. I want to add that this is not a labor issue - the men that were here were very kind, respectful, and worked hard. We like to believe that they weren't purposefully trying to be dishonest. This is a management issue where Lowes is not doing a Quality Check to ensure the thousands their customers are paying are actually being spent properly. It took us months (no exaggeration from November to April) to decide on the exact fence that we chose and it took a lot of back-and-forth with contractors, our HOA committee, and 6 neighbors who share our fence behind us to make this happen. There's just no good way to take that fence back and get the one we originally chose. At this point the process has been handled so poorly that my spouse and I would like nothing short of a refund. read more

Then I went on the back look for the sku could no see it . If I could give negative stars, I would. We purchased a dishwasher on June 9, 2016. We picked this particular dishwasher because it was in stock and we wanted it installed quickly. The installer came out June 16. To complete the installation correctly, another hose was needed. So, the installer left the unconnected dishwasher in my dining room. Today is June 29, the unconnected dishwasher is still in my dining room. The needed part is in, but my dishwasher is not. We have called & called & called. NOBODY returns our calls. I used to love Lowe's because their customer service was better than Home Depot. NOT ANYMORE!! Good luck getting any help. If you find someone they're not sure if they can answer your question. When you get ready to check out pack a lunch. You're gonna be there a while! I got so mad once I actually called the service desk from the line to tell them to send someone else to help check out. I heard them call on the PA but no one appeared. I was in line once behind a pile of other people and saw a couple of employees in the little office by the front just chatting away and ignoring the long lines of customers just rotting away while they chat! I made eye contact with one and she must have got the message and jumped out to help but that shouldn't have been necessary. My wife once stuck her head in the door of the little office up front to talk to a manager who was chatting to a worker and was completely ignored for several minutes! Finally gave up and left. I've even filed complaints to the BBB on other situations. Those were handled but check out times and floor help are still terrible. This location seriously needs a new manager. For now I'm going to Home Depot, Lowes seems to have a better selection of what I need but getting help and checked out is a nightmare! Save your self the headache and go to Home Depot. read more
