Home Emporium had the planters and rug that worked great, for great price. These planters can cost up to and over $100. These are substantial, but cost only about $30 each. They had so many gorgeous styles to choose from! These are perfect for year round, even for bulbs. I'm planning on getting some more for the back. The rug looks like an oriental and feels comfortable under bare feet. Works well with neutrals, but will look great at the holidays as well. Straight ahead were welcoming signs, some larger furniture pieces, couches, chairs, accent tables. Lots of seasonal Easter decorations. We soon got caught up in the "cute" (my wife's contribution) and extensive selection of Easter dinnerware, small thoughtful gifts, table settings with both decorative paper plates and ceramic ones. "We are gonna need a cart," she said. We were both finding some great table items at very good prices. With the value pricing, good organization and orderliness of the store, clean wide aisles, and bright lighting, we both thought, "this place is going to give Marshall's a run for its money." Turns out, they are sister stores in the same holding company. Home Sense seemed like an upgraded Marshall's focused on home, leaving out the clothes, shoes, and sometimes sporting equipment of Marshall's. Instead, more emphasis on home decor and decorating, still retaining the cookware and gourmet (ish) foods. Staff was ample through the store and helpful. Bottom line, the prices and selection were fantastic for this decor store. Recognizing it is not a niche, specialty decor store, for a larger chain and also inside their store family, this one is a winner.

THE BEST DESIGNER in Greenville SC - DIANA SAN MIGUEL. She designed a room that makes me feel…read moreexcited when I walk in. However, the room is also practical for our fur baby's nails and shedding. . As much as I love the room, I loved her approach to customer service and design even more. Diana led me thru all my options from the clearance room to a beautiful leather sofa. She asked questions and took the time to listen to my needs. She immediately understood my requirements since she also has a fur baby. The experience was more comfortable and just as creative as my experiences with other expensive designers. She presented several creative options and gave me the tools and space to select one that reflects our personalities and taste. AND .... the design service at Bassett is FREE. I did select the most expensive option, but I did on my terms and without feeling buyer's remorse by a high-pressure situation. A high-pressure salesperson is a major turn off to me and especially my husband, even though we had a generous budget. High pressure sales drove us away from another store directly into Diana's arms. What a blessing! I don't normally take the time to write reviews, however Diana is worth it. I almost don't want to share her with the world because now I'm ready to do our master bedroom : )

Purchased $8000 in bedroom set and was advised it would take 6 to 7 weeks. Called after 8 weeks and was told it was in the shipping process call back it 2 weeks. Why??? the sales people do not follow up on their orders they expect the customer to as they already have your money and their on to the next victim. After following up with sales person several times we finally went back 11 weeks later to the store and talked to the manager and was told one of the dressers had changes their skew number and was order never completed. They have a no refund policy and nothing we could do. Manager agreed to have the other pieces delivered and when the last piece came in they would deliver it. Three weeks later they delivered the remaining dresser. They also use a 3rd party delivery company, one was on his phone talking to someone the whole time and thru away the center leg for the dresser and luckily wife noticed it was not installed and caught them before pulling away and they found it in the pile of trash in the back of the truck.
