I am writing to publicly report an appalling series of failures, mismanagement, and unprofessional behavior I experienced at your Ridgeland, MS location (Store #2622) on November 24, 2025. My purchase consisted of a refrigerator, over-the-range microwave, and gas range, totaling $1,880.28, which I paid in full at the time of sale. Before I continue, I want to commend Sales Associate Leonard (#921214) for his excellent service. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and the only helpful employee involved in this transaction. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the rest of the experience. I worked with Carrisa, who identified herself as a department supervisor, to finalize my purchase. I clearly provided the correct Mississippi delivery address in Jackson, MS 39206. We completed the installation contracts, and I asked how delivery would be scheduled. Carissa dismissed my question and said Lowe's would contact me. Just hours later, I received a delivery confirmation -- to a completely incorrect address in South Fulton, GA. I never provided that address, nor was this order intended for Georgia. When I contacted customer service, Donna (#4011217) attempted to correct the store's error and then escalated the issue. Carissa advised that because the store manager was "not available," the Assistant Store Manager instructed her to cancel and re-bill the entire order -- meaning Lowe's expected to charge me a second time while I waited up to seven business days for the original nearly $2,000 to be refunded. This is not a solution. It is a burden placed entirely on the customer to fix a Lowe's error. Despite there being ample time before the requested delivery date of December 3rd, I was told that correcting the address was "not possible." Carissa then transferred me to another associate, Karen, whose curt and dismissive behavior was shocking. She insisted that although the error was the store's fault, it was "human error" and that this is simply "the Lowe's way" and has been for 20 years. When I stated that I wanted the order canceled and refunded due to their refusal to correct the mistake, she replied "OK" and hung up the phone. Repeated attempts to call back were met with transfers and disconnections, forcing me to go through customer service again to obtain proof of cancellation. Your team did not just mishandle a sale -- they demonstrated a complete disregard for customer trust and for basic professionalism. I was prepared to give Lowe's substantial future business, as I own and am renovating multiple properties. However, based on what I experienced, I no longer trust Lowe's to handle large purchases responsibly. I am requesting that district leadership address the conduct and training deficiencies among the employees involved, specifically: The Assistant Store Manager who declined to come to the phone or assist Supervisor Carrisa, who failed to properly manage the transaction and refused reasonable corrective action Karen, whose rude and unprofessional behavior was wholly unacceptable. DO NOT trust this store with any high-value delivery or installation purchases. Their handling of my order demonstrated a complete lack of integrity, accountability, and basic competence. At this time, I still have not received my refund, and I am now considering retaining an attorney to resolve the issue. Buyer Beware !! read more

Lowe's has officially became my favorite company to partner with while I'm doing renovations on my home. Their app has made it easy for me to find items, save items to my favorites list, read reviews, and shop online or in the store, and I don't feel out of place. The online shopping staff were extremely helpful when I needed a few more supplies and was already in the process of painting. I was able to place my order online and I called to ask if they could pull the items off the shelves soon so it could get delivered to me in time, and they did! I am so grateful for that. read more

We purchased washer and dryer, exterior doors, blinds and other smaller items. Kudos to the new store manager, he stepped in and helped the most. My husband and I were impressed with how he was able to accommodate us. He found the most affordable appliances without decreasing the quality of the products. Pitiful excuse of customer service, may as well have ZERO employees and just allow self select, self check, self pay, self load!!! We spent thousands of dollars and not one of the at least 5 employees standing around talking and laughing and joking even offered to help us!!! We bought a dryer and they delivered it and refused to set it up. Delivery service(which is a third party) didn't bring the power cord we ordered and paid for and also didn't take our old dryer which we paid to have taken away. Will not purchase anything from this Lowe's again. Horrible customer service when we called to get issue resolved. read more

Customer experiences here are hit and miss. The young woman at the customer service counter was so nice and helpful. The young man at the paint counter was as equally nice and helpful. Our cashier was rude, I'm assuming, as he didn't verbally acknowledge my existence in any way. He simply started scanning items at a leisurely pace, with a look on his face that said he'd rather be anywhere else in the world. He never said a single word to me. No "hi", "your total is $XX", "screw you"....nothing. Didn't say thank you at the end or tell me how much my change was. (I had to look and find the total myself since he didn't wanna speak). This was the morning of January 3rd at the E County Line Rd store. His rude a$$ has NO business "serving" the public. Put his sour puss in the back!! Management at this location is the worst of any Lowe's in the Jackson area. NO full-service checkout lines were open with only a single self-check open that was bottle-necked by one person with a full cart and issues checking out. Meanwhile the line reached back growing by the minute. Numerous employees stood by and watched. Unfortunately this is the norm at this store which is why I'll drive further to another location whenever possible. read more

I would give a 0 if I could. Been in this store twice within the last week. First to buy a dishwasher that unfortunately the Flowood store did not have. This process took 2 hours to complete. The reason: no one to work! Only one associate apparently knows how to sell a dishwasher. Had to go to the self checkout to purchase a couple other things. None of the self check machines were operating. One checker with a long long line. But another associate was standing at a register drinking a soda and told everyone she was not on the clock. (Then go to the back!). Another associate walked by and said to go to customer service. Another man and I got to CS and was immediately told to go to the checkout with waving arms everywhere not to enter. "Oh no, we were sent here" we both replied. We were begrudgingly helped while the associate kept saying they had a new computer system and it was not working. After several repeats of this I told her "customers do not care about the computer. We came in to buy something and leave". I asked several times to see the manager. As I am waiting at the desk she also asked what i was waiting for. I said " I am waiting for you to call the manager." She then told me I could go to tool world to talk to him. "No. The manager comes to the customer not the other way around". Well. He never showed up. During this visit my mother was starting the process to buy window blinds. The guy has already measured for the blinds, the installation person has called and given us a price. "All you have to do is go to the store and sign a paper and make the payment". So today we went back to do that. Disaster #2. My 87 year old Mom waited in the blinds section for 20 minutes as I am at CS to get someone to help us. No one around. They are all standing around the front talking. Hunter called for assistance several times with no one answering. Oh yeah. She also needed a new garbage disposal. But we won't buy it there. We left without any assistance, not one associate asked if we needed anything. I realize that we are in a different world now. But Lowe's can afford to pay associates enough to keep good employees. They are making a ton of money right now. But I think many stores are using "lack of employees" as an excuse. They know people have to have things. And the store just sits there poised like a tiger knowing customers have little choice. Just send customers through the self check and we don't have to pay anyone. I love home improvement; therefore, Lowe's is one of my favorite stores. The staff is more knowledgeable and better trained here than other chain hardware stores. The shelves are well stocked and very rarely can I not find what I need at Lowe's. Only for specialty screws and light bulbs do I ever really need to go elsewhere. The garden center has loads of sod, top soil, herbicides, bricks, and borders. If you need assistance, they will happily load your car. They have different tools and cleaners that you can rent. read more

Awful experience. Supposed to have been getting carpet installed today. They promotion by which we bought our carpet said spend of $699 and get free installation, we will remove your furniture and removed old Carpet. They won't stand by their own promotion. Spent $3,000 on carpet and they are going to lose the deal over $120. Horrible, lazy installers knew they didn't want to work today. Absolutely the worst customer service i have ever experienced. One star because they eventually showed up to install windows. Scheduled with installer. Ooops, we only thought all of your windows were here. Call came two hours AFTER scheduled install. Clear another day in my schedule. Four days later, scheduled to arrive between 12:00pm and 1:00pm. 2:05 One guy turned up. 2:45 Two more guys, and the windows. 5:00pm finally finished. Only two windows. The installers were very nice, but very S-L-O-W. They were also sloppy. Silicone blobs on the windows, hand and fingerprints all over the windows. Chipped paint. Fine layer of dust all over the kitchen. NEVER AGAIN. Stupid me. Last time I had Lowe's install windows, different store, the guys were quick and neat, but they stole from me. Neither store manager ever bothered to return a call. Clearly, they simply do not care. Find a local vendor. read more

This location has had a radical drop in quality and service. I recently tried to return two online orders - very small items with receipts and they were unable to do it. They sent me to the Madison location where I originally picked up the online order. The other location can't figure out why in the world they weren't able to do it , but I wasted almost an hour. I asked to speak to the manager Chuck and he was not the The least bit interested in seeing if he could help when I explain the situation.He didn't even offer to look at the email receipts or items himself he could care less about customer satisfaction. read more

They will send you a email and call you telling you your order is there and then will have you standing around for over a hour or 2 before they tell you they DO NOT. I don't know why I continue to give this Lowe's a chance. Was waiting at self checkout for some help. Waited so long my legs got tired. Then was told by an employee that I might as well go to another register that he does not think I'm going to get any help at self checkout. My rating is for the excellent service I received during delivery and installation of a new refrigerator. Freedale and Jerry did a super job removing my old refrigerator and installing and prepping the new one. They were timely and thorough. My son loves going here for the build and grow clinics in the morning. I had to run back in here for some bird seed and he was looking for Mrs Penny. She is the most helpful build and grow captain. So I bought a washer at the Ridgeland, MS location Friday afternoon and was told delivery was booked all weekend but they could deliver it Monday. At noon on Monday I still had not heard from them so I called. I was told it would be delivered on the 16th, 9 days later. I told them that was a mistake and could I talk to someone about rescheduling. Transferred to appliance department where I was told my salesman wasn't there and was hung up on. Naturally I drove to the store and asked for a manager. She was very friendly and said she would schedule it for the next day (Tuesday). Well at 10 am Tuesday I had not heard from them so I called and was told that it would be delivered by 8 pm. At 6:30 I called again and was told that it wasn't delivered because they couldn't find it and everyone who could explain why was gone for the day. They told me they may have to get one from another store. I have already paid for the washing machine at THIS location and was told a Monday delivery. So I went on line and there was only one store which had one in stock. I called the store again and talked to a third manager to ask him to contact the other store to hold it for me. He said he would and that he would call me right back. Four hours later they are closed and no return phone call. Nice job on your customer service Lowe's! read more

Terrible customer service. Having worked in customer service, I always try to give the benefit of the doubt. I know it gets busy in places like this and I know it's hard to handle being pulled in different directions. But my experience yesterday was just uncalled for. Yesterday my husband and I went in to get some paint. We already knew exactly what was needed. We got what little paint supplies we needed and headed to the paint counter. We stood at the paint counter, pushed the button on the counter for help and no one ever came. One of the cashiers saw us standing there and never bothered to get us help. I waited about ten minutes because I didn't want to interrupt him. When he walked away from the register I kindly asked him to call someone for us. He said, "I'll call someone in just a minute." No one came. Ten minutes after that I asked him again. As he walked away from me, he said someone would come. I wanted to tell him look at me when he was talking because I literally barely made out what he was saying. No one EVER showed up. In total, we spent thirty minutes in this store which ended up being wasted time. We left everything on the counter and left to the store in Madison where we waited for only one minute. Parents ordered a Frigidaire gallery fridge on a Friday, they scheduled an install MONDAY "after 4". Monday arrives, it's 7:30, no install guys. Called the manager, she acts like a spoiled brat bitch waiting to go home. Install guys show up at 9. FUCKING NINE AT NIGHT. The fridge was busted, wouldn't turn on at all, they left TRASH in their kitchen and NO suggestion as to why the fridge wouldn't turn on. NOTHING. So in conclusion, fuck Lowe's, you can waste your time and money and pay $1000 dollars for assholes to treat you like shit, but I'm getting a refund and taking business elsewhere AND tell their competitors this story! I could not locate an employee to help me find storage boxes. I saw 2 employees talking in flooring. Neither offered to help. I finally found the boxes. Went to check out and they only had one line (#14) open and self checkout. I went to #14. The lady at customer service was looking at a receipt with another client. She said that she didn't know where the cashier went. Another employee walked up and stood next to the register but told me I would need to go to self check out where there were 3 other people in line. The self checkout employee said he could have checked me out. I looked over and he and 2 other employees were now standing at the register just talking. Obviously customer service is not their top priority. I will just visit the other Lowes/Home Depot locations that usually seem to want to help.
