This place needs to get it together. On Tuesday, May 16, I took my mother in this store to…read morepurchase new mattresses. She tried a few out and decided on a set and was advised the mattresses were $500. Once we got ready to process the order, we learned that $500 was for the floor model and this was with a 50% discount off the original price. Because the store had very little business, my mother and I decided that we'd go with it since the salesman admitted the traffic in this particular store was little to none which means there probably weren't a bunch of germy people lying on it. Besides being in a bad location, we now understand why this store gets little traffic. The mattresses were set to be delivered on Saturday, May 20, according to Barry, our sales rep. Barry told us that my mother would receive a call Friday about the delivery window. My mom waited to get a phone call and never received one as of Saturday morning. She contacted the store and was told that she was not down for delivery and there was a mix-up between the delivery people and the corporate office. Lacey, the manager, told her he would work to see if he could get someone to come and pick the mattresses up from the store. The store closed Saturday without confirming delivery. According to the manager, the next open delivery date was Wednesday, 5/24. Although this was not acceptable with my mother, I encouraged her to get the mattresses because they were good mattresses at half off. I called the store today(Monday, 5/22) to see if there was any way they could deliver any earlier than Wednesday and was advised that Lacey had left a note stating my mother had cancelled the order because it could not delivered Saturday. This is not true. Our assumption is that Lacey got tired of dealing with the situation and cancelled the order. I am trying to get a number to the corporate office to file a complaint. Barry claims that the delivery folks said they still have my mom down for delivery even though Lacey left the note about cancellation. Clearly the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing and/or Lacey is a liar. Either way, these folks need to get it together. Barry claims we will get a refund on the delivery for the inconvenience. I'm not going to hold my breath, but will wait and see what happens Wednesday. #goodhelpishardtofind I came back to change my two stars to one. It is Wed. 5/24 and the mattresses were scheduled to be delivered between 230 and 530. As of 6:00, no call/no show. I called the regional manager in Hattiesburg, MS who looked up the order, said the delivery guys were running behind schedule and my mother would get her mattresses at 7:07 pm. I guess the odd time was supposed to make this story believable. NOT! Well, Lacey at the store said he didn't even know we were still on the schedule which leads me back to my original statement.....THIS PLACE NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER. My mom cancelled the order. Clearly, they don't want our business.

The store called and asked if I wanted the other items, I declined, said no, I did not. The appliances were not delivered. Between the finance company and the furniture store my money wasn't refunded until a week ago, which is 17 months later. However, it was sent to the delivery address. I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I have a Atlanta identification. They send my mail here. Verify my address with each call. Hence, it should be no problem with sending the refund check of $4100 to my address on file. I have been iterating this mistake for 17 months.
