Came in looking for advice on a dresser I was building where the company sent me a wrong piece and then subsequently stopped selling the dresser altogether. I wish I remembered his name but he was the assistant store manager with a long beard... he was absolutely awesome and totally helped me out! Nasty woman named Beverly stayed in the handicap stall for 15+ minutes keeping a 100% disabled person from using it. I watched this poor lady waiting and when she came out the veteran even nicely said "Please don't take your break in the handicap stall" and she said "Phuck you" I can't even bring myself to type it. Just shocked at the attitude this lady had. I left my stall when the veteran and I followed her to the customer service counter. How ironic that this nasty person represents Lowe's customer service. This is why I prefer Home Depot Over BLOWES. I waited all morning on a Saturday for an expected delivery of (3) bulk bags of gravel to arrive-delivered to my driveway- and they were supposed to call ahead of time- they didn't. I had already moved my vehicles out of my long driveway so the forklift would not have an issue placing them in the yard near my garage door. Imagine my surprise when (3) bulk bags plus delivery at $270.60 turned out to be (3) 1/2 CF bags of gravel all alone on a single pallet!!! Those tiny bags looked all alone and confused! I can only imagine what the supervisor must have thought when he/she/they/them signed off on the delivery, or, what the driver thought to have to deliver such an order. Maybe he thought I was a rich, invalid or an old man, or a wheelchair-bound old lady...who knows. Was he or she smoking crack this morning? So after speaking with the AI agent on the phone and getting through to a human after 15-minutes of it hallucinating (or smoking Internet crack), I finally got a human, explained the above, and waited 15 minutes on hold while she sorted it all out. She said the earliest the correct order could be delivered was Monday. When asked for an explanation? "The only thing they told me was there was a mixup on the size." Seriously? You think? Stay in school boys and girls and graduate. But if you don't worry, if you don't, there will always be a company like BLowes that will hire you for a management position!!! read more

Lowes always has most things we need to fix our house up. On this day we bought fertilizer to help get us through the summer, and there were lots of options amongst the fertilizer alone. If we find something we like here, we tend to just purchase it because there's no sense in trying to compare prices. I have previously been very happy with Lowe's but this experience has completely turned me off from doing business with them I had purchased a new refrigerator on 1/11 with a deliver date of 1/16. First they broke it into two shipments (a water hose and the fridge) without additional tracking or an explanation so most people were confused. When the fridge showed up the driver pulled out the old one and said there was a leak (a small drop of water on the handle) but everything else was dry. They refused to remove the old one or delivery the new one and took it back. I had a plumber come out that day and couldn't reproduce the leak. I went to the store and asked for a refund. I checked the statement later and only saw a refund of $18.62 out of a $1,917 purchase (less than 1%). I was also told a manager would be calling me. After a week, I went back to the store and spoke with the same assistant manager, who called to confirm the fridge had been returned to the store providing it. He said a manager from there would be processing a refund immediately and contacting me. He also showed me on the documentation that the delivery driver noted I refused the new fridge claiming it didn't fit. Several hours later still nothing. I'm going to be disputing the charge next. I was previously very happy with Lowes but the multiple lies have completely turned me off from them. I was planning to do a lot of renovations with them but that won't be happening. Lowe's Home Improvement kills Christmas... Here's my story... 1 Star - Extremely Disappointed with Lowe's Extended Warranty I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer from Lowe's along with an extended warranty plan that was supposed to cover BOTH appliances. I paid hundreds of dollars for this 5 year protection, trusting that Lowe's would stand behind it. Unfortunately, due to Lowe's own incompetence at the time of purchase, only the washer was added to my online portal as a covered item. When my dryer broke, Lowe's refused to send a technician until I proved I had coverage--even though they acknowledged the mistake was entirely on Lowe's side and I have a receipt clearly showing the washer, dryer, and protection plan were all purchased together on the same day. Because of this, my family went through the holidays without clean clothes. Despite repeated calls and escalations, no one at Lowe's would make this right. They admitted the error, but took zero responsibility to resolve it. Lesson learned: Do NOT waste your money on Lowe's extended warranties. Lowe's will happily take your money upfront, but when you actually need service, they will hide behind their own mistakes and leave you stranded--even when the paperwork proves you're covered. Extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience. I will not purchase appliances or warranties from Lowe's again. read more

Have you ever noticed that Lowe's and Home Depot are almost always in very close proximity to each other? I would guess that the two companies know the optimum location or at least area and both companies are vying for the attention and money from their prospective customer base. I stopped in this Lowe's to check out a few grills. They had several both outside and inside. Pricing was good, or at least competitive, and they had a good selection. I must say that I was also quite impressed with the Blackstone griddles. I now have to consider would I prefer a griddle or grill (or both). All in all, this is a good place. It is in the same shopping plaza as the B.J.'s Wholesale Club, so there is plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend a visit here or any of their various locations. This particular East Orlando location, located on Lake Underhill Roll, was a definite positive experience. I will definitely be back. read more

He assembled the pressure washer for my husband and we are extremely grateful for his kindness and his assistance. Lowe's is one of two choices for large home improvement centers. This particular Lowe's is off the beaten path in a Plaza with BJ's (the store) and a CVS. I really like their Lawn and Garden section as it's more open and has a much more customer friendly display than the other place up Alafaya. It seems more open. Same with their appliance section as well and have bought quite a few things from them over the years. I usually stop here first when looking for something for a home project. Whether it's paint to paint with, cleaners to clean with or tools to tool around with, they usually have something for the job. People are usually pretty helpful when you have a question, but for the most part, I get what I need and browse around for junk I don't need, but looks cool. read more

On 11/18/2025 I entered Lowe's on Lake Underhill. I purchased 2 kitchen appliances. A new stove and a dishwasher, both were to be delivered and INSTALLED. I was charged $169.00 for install of the dishwasher. The stove delivered within a few days, no issues. The dishwasher on the other hand is a nightmare. They said it wasn't in stock and it would be delivered and INSTALLED the following week. I asked for delivery by the 26th as it was the week of Thanksgiving. I received an email stating it would be delivered Friday the 28th. A call was made to the number the store gave us on the morning of 28 and they stated delivery and install between 1 and 5 pm. That never happened. I called the Store and was told it was for in-store pickup NOT delivery and install!! I was put on hold and sent to 3 other representatives and the last one finally confirmed it was to be delivered and INSTALLED but a call to their contractor stated their company was closed because of the holiday weekend. There was NEVER any INTENTION to deliver and install on Friday the 28th! On 12/02/2025 I got an email that delivery will now be on 12/06/2025 a SATURDAY. That is 2 1/2 weeks after purchase! When I questioned as to why I wasn't put on the schedule as PRIORITY because of the missed delivery day, the standard reply was, "I am sorry for the delay". This is the worst customer service ever. I am a repeat customer as this year I have purchased an over the stove microwave, refrigerator, stove and the dishwasher. YOU WOULD THINK they would treat me better. When it comes too INSTALL go somewhere else! I paid CASH for all 4 appliances and NON were financed. read more

Spring cleaning and refreshing our home always brings us out to Lowes. We find Lowes has lower prices and this Lowes we have always found helpful people, found everything that we need and sometimes things we don't. On this trip we came to buy a handle for out toilet and found the weed killer on sale....winning!! Buy one get one refill free!! We also went on a search of other things that are on our home to do list. We quickly located them, appreciated the multiple options/varieties and the cost. We also were inspired to try something new. This Lowe's is located at the corner of Alafaya Trail and Lake Underhill Road in East Orlando. I found myself in there recently with a list of items to pick up and little knowledge of where to start. Great customer service rectified that immediately along with offers to teach me what I needed to know to get the job done. This store was well-stocked, signage was easy to read and direct, and staff are available and knowledgeable. I am so glad I visited this location and will surely be back. Tip: If you're trying to fix or troubleshoot something, take a few pictures to show staff, especially if you don't know the names of what you need. This was my first time at Lowe's because I wanted a beach chair. On the app it said that this Lowe's had several beach chairs in stock and it gave me the aisle number. When I went, they only had one beach chair in stock and it was the cheapest kind that only has one setting. I was disappointed and will have to go somewhere else. I signed up for the kid's DIY workshop a month in advance, but when I went to pick up the kit today I was told they ran out of it. There is really no point of registering for the DIY workshop kit if they do not reserve it for the registrants or as I was informed by the costumer service that they did not even receive enough kits for everyone registered to begin with. I was told it is first come first serve among the people that registered their kids, this information was not mentioned anywhere in my registration email. It only said that we could pick up the DIY kit anytime during the event weekend before the store closes on Sunday. If I had known this is first come first serve I would not have bothered to come and waited in line on a Sunday afternoon. Overall I am very disappointed with how this experience went. This store also seemed under staffed since the line for consumer service is extremely long when I arrived at store. We stopped in and she went to the online order pickup area, which thankfully did not have a line like the Customer Service area did. Unfortunately, we saw no efforts to affect social distancing within the store; and, idiots were mingling, hugging, shaking hands, and congregating throughout the store. We saw no efforts for heightened sanitation, although I carry sanitizer wipes with me; but, we didn't even need a cart. If I could give Zero stars, I would! They are very quick & friendly when you are ordering & paying for your items. Delivery is very disorganized! I was told delivery would be 3 days after I ordered. Almost 2 weeks later, & 3 failed attempts to get my product on their truck for delivery, I finally had part of my order delivered. I had to go to Home Depot to get the items I was shorted. It took over another week for me to finally get credit for the missing items. Calling the store for assistance is useless. The people will tell you any story (mostly lies) to try to sound like they are taking care of the issue. If they can't help you, they put you on hold forever! It took me over 45 minutes to get a person to tell me the manager went to lunch & 'could I call back in 30 minutes' .... I told her if I hung up, & called right back, it would take over 30 minutes to get a person!! When I did get to a manager, he seemed to care, but the entire fiasco has put me off ever shopping at lowes again! When I called about my credit, I was put on hold & I decided to stay on the line to see just how long they would keep me on hold on the same call. While I was still on hold, I was able to email the manager & get a reply from his email that he'd left the store 45 minutes prior to the associate putting me on hold for the manager. I then watched a TV show while still on hold. Over an hour on hold for a manager that wasn't even in the store!! Nobody came back to the phone to tell me!!!! read more

They are about 15% higher on almost everything compared to Home Depot so the rebate was important. Since they do not honor rebates I can't go there. I needed some baseboards ti replace at my parents house. Product as easy to find but was only available in 16ft section so we needed it cut. Just one cut so it could fit in the car. We asked five times for assistanc and every time some one made a call and nothing happened. Plenty of employees walking around and no one could help us. who ever is in charge of this store should be embarrassed at their stores customer service. will avoid this store at all cost. read more

UPDATED REVIEW- 5/2/2017 Stopped by to return some items this evening. I bought a couple of things to fix a dryer vent and install a new one. We bought a circular saw bit and a drill bit to make it easier. We used it and were not satisfied with it so we decided to try to return it since we still had the receipt. I wasn't sure how they would react since it was used. Walked in right to customer service and gave them the items with my receipt. I came in at 7:40, asked the garden center cashier how late he was at the garden center register. Alex replied 8 pm. I told him I would be right back. I grabbed the meal worms dried for the birds, headed to the plants, picked out 11 palm trees, then went to the register and the manager type lady with long dark hair had removed his register at 15 till 8. Alex apologized, I mentioned I understand it's not your fault and I said Home Depot would not close it early. I didn't want to crag all of those palm trees through the store so I pit them back, no sale. When I went through to pat inside for meal works Alex was at one register and a girl with colorful hair at the other. Alex was the only one busy, she was standing there and after about thirty seconds she offered to help. I had played enough register switch games so I declined. She commented okay, whatever and walked away to go stand beside the customer service area and self checkout registers. Alex said they were trying to let her go at 8:00. It was 7:59, I feel that the manager lady could care less about customer service or customer impressions and really has a less than friendly affect. She never said a word but I could tell from her affect that there was no use e planking about my impression of Lowe's as a result of the experience with her. Even though I despise Home Depot I would ship there if I lived in this part of town as a result of this experience. This is why I become a fan of Amazon more snd more every day. So, Lowe's please read this review snd understand that the customer impression of the entire experience gets spoiled when things like this occur. No matter how cordial Alex is his actions and demeanor drown with the Lowe's manager involvement experience. I have found that if the Lowe's web site shows they have an item in stock then they actually have it when I make the drive there to pick it up. I can't say this for their competition. The few times I needed help finding something it took a bit of an effort finding an associate to help - that really is the only ding. Overall, they have what I need when I need it. This Lowes has always been my go to store. I recommended this Lowes location to my neighbor who needed to rebuild her fence after hurricane Ian, my neighbor made the purchase on a Monday and paid in full over 2000 dollars, she was promised a delivery day of Friday of that same week, when Friday came my neighbor was told the delivery window would be between 2 to 6pm. After 6 pm my neighbor called looking for her delivery , she was told it went on the wrong truck and won't be delivered until Sunday, my neighbor told them Sunday was not acceptable to call the wrong truck and direct that the truck deliver her order, Lowes said that can't be done. The following day my neighbor called Lowes and after three hours of being transferred to different people my neighbor finally got in touch with an assistant manager who told her the panels were not on the wrong truck that the fencing was over sold and the soonest for delivery would be the following Friday , when the delivery arrived it was short three fence panels and it took my neighbor days to get that matter resolved which ended up being a credit. My neighbor is not blaming me for recommending Lowes but she did tell me never again Lowes. read more

The only major issue I've had is finding a damn customer service rep for a specific department to help me out. But if you grab the nearest guy and tell him to send someone, usually they will and do a good job of getting someone there. I like to get in and out of places like this with what I need, and so I get a bit impatient. However, we broke some light fixtures we had bought trying to hang them and they replaced them on the spot at no cost to us. Really cool. They've also let me have returns for store credit without a receipt. They didn't follow up on calling me when I ordered carpet, but calling them was not a big deal to me and it all got done. I liked their selection of carpet and the prices were fair since carpet labor really costs a lot no matter who you have do it. I've also been really happy with their selection of light fixtures for houses, wood flooring for bedrooms and landscaping supplies. I get my red rock there and am looking to buy trees there as well. Also - when they installed my carpet they left my house a complete MESS! They even broke the grout in my bathroom and didn't bother to say anything. So don't sign that paperwork they ask you to sign until they clean up after themselves. Richard was the crappy lazy ass I got doing my carpet - I told the company not to bother sending him back into my home but that i would hire a cleaning company to clean. I never wanted to see that man again. The management called me and came by my house that same day to look and sent their tile guy out to fix my grout the very next day. AMAZING MANAGEMENT TEAM! Incompetent people working at this location. I started an order over the phone for a New AC unit to be delivered to my address. I provided my information to the lady over the phone and spelled out every piece of information so that there shouldn't have been any mistakes. Unfortunately there was, the lady had the incorrect email put in so in terms of any receipts or updates in regard to my delivery I was uninformed. When I called to get this sorted out, I was told that they are unable to update the email address. Not only that but I paid for next day shipping just for Lowe's to tell me that they are unable to deliver it the next day (Tuesday) and so I had to reschedule the delivery for Friday between 8am-12pm. Keep in mind I was still charged for next day delivery. I planned my morning around this delivery and waited 4 Hrs before I decided to call Lowe's for an update. All they had for me was that it was out for delivery with no expected time frame and no tracking information. When I asked for the delivery truck drivers info so that I can reach out to him, they told they did not have that information and that there wasn't a way for me to get in contact with him. After waiting around for an extra hour and a half past the time frame selected of 8am - 12pm, I was told by Lowe's that the AC was delivered even though it was not. I then contacted the Lowe's store delivery manager from the location that I ordered the AC unit from, and the guy I spoke with told me that it was still out for delivery with no expected time frame. So now I was being told two different things. After being fed up with this experience, I decided to cancel the order altogether. I asked if the cancelation order could be emailed to the correct email address however they said they were unable to do so since try original email was input incorrectly. It's 2024!!! How are you unable to edit an email in your system??? Just an awful experience with no answers at all. Good luck even trying to get ahold of the store too. read more
