I went with Lowe's to do my countertop install and the third person party they used was terrible. Not only that, Lowe's response afterwards was just as terrible. Please see my concerns with Jackson Stoneworks and please save yourself, do not use Lowe's for your projects. My experience with Jackson Stone Works was extremely frustrating from start to finish. In the beginning, Nic was quick to get me scheduled within about a week, which gave me confidence in the process. Unfortunately, that was the only part that moved efficiently. After measurements were taken, everything came to a halt. Samantha, while polite, had very poor communication throughout the entire process. She initially told me my sink wouldn't fit and asked me to find another. I did--twice--only to find out the required measurement had never been disclosed in her emails. After two failed attempts, she offered to find one for me, which I appreciated... but then never followed through. I had to reach out multiple times before she finally sent an option--and it wasn't even the color or material I had originally wanted. At that point, I at least had the correct measurements and was able to find one myself. This alone dragged out over a week, which is unreasonable for something so simple. Once that was resolved, I was told my slab would be ordered. Then I was told the slabs didn't match... then they did... and then suddenly they didn't again, requiring new ones to be ordered. More weeks passed with zero proactive communication. I had to reach out every single time for updates, which is unacceptable customer service. What was initially projected to take around 3 weeks ended up taking closer to 8. And after all of that, when installation finally happened, my stove no longer fit. The installers themselves were very kind, but when the issue was reported, I was told Samantha would reach out. She finally did--Friday after 5 PM--via email, with no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Instead, she essentially dismissed the issue and told me to find a cabinet professional on my own. No accountability, no solution, no effort to help. The same person who spent over a week going back and forth about sink measurements never once verified stove measurements--something that now leaves me with an additional problem to fix. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience marked by poor communication, lack of attention to detail, and zero accountability. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this company. read more

there should be a 'no star' option. I ordered windows May 30, 2025 and have had wrong sized windows delivered twice. I was told they would be installed the beginning of December. All of the windows I received were the wrong size but was told that they would put a rush on them and I would receive them within two weeks. That didn't happen. The next date was January 23rd but that has come and gone and no windows. They are great about calling and giving an 'update' but the update is always a procrastination, no firm information. My advice is if you want windows, do not go to Lowes. The installation company has been wonderful to work with, but unfortunately, they have no influence with Lowes. read more

Went to this Lowe's on 1/16/2026 to buy a toolbox, ask an employee for assistance told him what I wanted, we looked at the toolbox on display, and it was damaged, this employee was working self-checkout and was very friendly, he ask another employee if there was any more in the back, the second employee checked and said that they had two in back, the first employee tried to get someone to go get one and even paged for someone to come help us nobody showed up, the first employee even talk to a female employee and she said she couldn't because she had to be at the counter, still no one showed up he said he didn't want lose a sale, after about 15-20 min we got tired of waiting and still no help so we left, I don't recommend shopping at this store it seems they don't care about sales, not going back there, if Home Depot across the road had the same toolbox I would of gone over there when I left Lowe's, it's a shame Lowe's customer service has gotten so bad read more

One star is one too many as this particular Lowe's has the worst customer service. This morning (6/21/24), I went to pick up my online order. I ordered curbside delivery because of back and hip issues, otherwise I would go in and pick it up myself. In the app I received a notice they're running a little behind. Okay, fine, I can wait. Half an hour later, still nothing. So I gimped my way into the store and there was staff available, standing around. I mentioned waiting for half an hour and they could have cared less. No acknowledgement, not even a perfunctory apology. I asked about an item I ordered that wasn't in the bag. The head cashier, I didn't catch her name, told me it was not on the order. I'm pointed out that it was indeed on the same order. Not even an "Oops, I'm sorry." Nothing. Again, they could care less. If I can help it, I will not shop at this Lowe's again. read more

We took one up front and it didn't ring up correctly even tho it was the same name as the sign. A manager would not come to the front to talk to us. They sent us back to Kari the plumbing manager. She was rude and lied to us. She tried to dismiss us and I asked for her name. Worst customer service ever. We went in and put in a request for a quote on installing a new fence at my mom's house in Ft. McCoy. We live in Arizona and had been out to visit and went with her to set up the estimate appointment. They never showed up, no call, no email, nothing. When we called they said they canceled it because they don't just do removals of old fences. Somehow the part about buying new fencing and installing it was omitted. Scheduled a new date and time. Once again my elderly mother waited all day and they never showed up again. My husband got an email saying it was canceled with no explanation. What kind of crap is this Loews? I was assigned to restore a storage area which took several months. Upon completion . The manager Michael Pagano cut my 20 hour week after we agreed on that schedule knowing I would leave. The Loew's Store # 440 of Ocala,Fl. (3535 SW 36th Ave. has extremely POOR Customer Service! I was looking to purchase a utility sink for our laundry room and after paying for an install estimate ($35 for one of their local plumbers) we went to the store again the following day to get the final, total installed price (the plumber stated that it would be available by then). We went to the same store dept. and even spoke to the same salesman? They didn't have an estimate and after driving to that store (#440) I was a little concerned/upset. The folks working at that time didn't seem to care that we drove all that way just to finalize and pay for our deal. So we just went across the street to Home Depot and purchased it there. On November 10, 2019, my husband and I went to the Lowe's Store, 3535 SW 36th Ave, Ocala, Florida, to purchase appliances for a new home we had built. We picked out a refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer, and dryer... Over $4000 worth of appliances and two hours spent with the sales rep picking everything out and making sure everything we needed was purchased. We were told that we could schedule delivery when we needed them so we did. So the day before they were supposed to deliver I got a call stating that my delivery was scheduled between 11 and 3. So the day of delivery we waited around and it was an absolutely beautiful day outside but we couldn't go anywhere because we were getting our appliances delivered, so we thought. When no delivery truck was showing up I decided I would call the phone number that I was given that was in charge of delivery. I have since found out these are contracted delivery companIes, not Lowe's, but a company called XPO representing Lowes and was told that no, our appliances were not being delivered that day. No reason why just it was not happening. So the next day I got on the phone to The Lowe's store mentioned above where I purchased the appliances and was told by the woman there that she called and our delivery she assured mewould be the next day. Why isn't our order being delivered? We don't know...So we wait... No delivery truck... AGAIN...Called XPO again and spoke with a woman who was supposed to call me back regarding why we were not getting delivery. Still waiting for her call. Called back and spoke with a man that was investigating and supposed to give us a call back. Still waiting for that call back as well. Yeah, right. That's just their ploy to get you off the phone so they don't have to deal with you. So my husband and I drive to the store and asked to speak to the manager. He's not there, the assistant manager is busy with someone else, so I get to speak to the woman in person that I spoke to on the phone the day before. So at the store she got on the phone and after waiting about 10 minutes the person on the other end of the line wanted to speak with us. They indicated that they could deliver our appliances in three days and I said no. Then she offered two days and I said no. And then I told her to just cancel the order. We are getting our new home inspected tomorrow to receive our certificate of occupancy and without the appliances the inspector will not pass the home. So we go to another local store, MVB Appliances in Ocala Florida, and they have appliances right there that we purchased and they will deliver it for us tomorrow. Note to self: if the appliance company you're buying from does not do their own deliveries then you need to walk right back out of the store. It's not worth the frustration and time wasted that you can't get back and you don't get compensated for. We will never buy another item from Lowe's again. Their customer service is subpar. This review is specific to Loews corporate counter top pricing. I was fooled for a bit by the $39.00 a sq ft for Granite Counter Tops that includes installation. What I thought was going to be a $3200.00 job became $5958.86 Almost $3000.00 more. Here is there deal, they were going to charge $115.00 for each plug cut out, $68.00 x 8 for each metal counter top support bracket, $308.00 each for the 2 45 degree angles cuts in the counter top. $139.00 for ea rough cut drop in sink holes and $289.00 for the Kitchen sink under mount cut. Then a $544.00 charge I never did figure out what it was for. Being a bit upset and having done stone counter tops more than a few times in the past I CALLED TWO COMPANY'S both were shocked a my story but had heard it before. They both charged about $4.00 more per sq ft and the ONLY 2 extra charges were $100.00 for the kitchen under mount finished cut and $15.00 for each of the 6 needed metal counter top supports. for a total of $3,802.00!!! These are both very high end companies and I will review the one I pick after the job is done. The Staff at lowes were very thoughtful and were aware of the gouging but their hands were tied. read more

In case you're not aware Lowe's contracts with XPO for delivery and installation of any major appliance. as a customer I would look at the reviews for XPO, that will tell you everything you need to know. RUN!!!! Second thing to bring to your attention, their extended warranty service is the absolute pits. I have been dealing with Assurant( Lowe's extended warranty provider) for several weeks to receive a refund on appliances that were never delivered to me. I canceled the appliances as soon as I found out who delivers for them now. for weeks, five different emails and all I get is the runaround. It's an absolute shame that at one time Lowes was top notch. Not anymore, customer service for Assurant is deplorable. do yourself a favor before this could happen to you, investigate XPO and Assurant. read more

My elderly mom and service disabled vet father purchased a Maytag washer in February of 2021. they also purchased a 5yr service plan. 6 weeks ago the washer went out and the part is on back order from Maytag. there is no end in site to the backordered part. I went yesterday to our local Silver springs store in Ocala to see what they could do to help. We went to talk to a store manager and they looked into it the next day. they called today to say because part is ordered there is nothing they can do about it. so my 70yr old mother is still washing her clothes in her kitchen sink. lowes should and could make Maytag honor their service agreement and replace the washer, but are choosing to do nothing. Had a customer order a dishwasher which was $799. I drove 2 hours away to pick it up as she is not able to pick it up herself. They couldn't find my order even with my Invoice from Lowe's. Then proceeded to tell me 15 minutes later that the person whose credit card is on it has to pick it up. This store is closer to my home and I go there on occasion when I am pressed for time. Most of the time, I regret it. Literally, you cannot find an employee to help you or answer your questions unless you do a major search of the store and honestly, most of the time, they have no idea what you are asking them. The garden department is typically pretty smart and on top of their game- although there is one guy that works there that is lazy as crap. If he has never heard of something (like a trellis) he will tell you that they do not carry them. Go to the women that work in that department if you want to know anything. The lines are usually really long and no one seems to care. Oh wait, unless you are walking out the last door with a receipt in your hand. Magically, the cashier is there asking to see your receipt. Customer service absolutely sucks and the woman working in customer service is nasty and horrible- even to the employees (much nicer than the boss lady) that are obviously under her. If you call to complain then I wish you great luck in the store manager ever answering the phone. I've had too many bad experiences with this store to even tell on Yelp. Most of the time, it's not something horrible but it usually leaves me wishing I drove to the competitor in the other direction. Lessons are learned slowly I suppose. read more

Lowes is ok if you are looking for a decent price but are not expecting service. I bought a lawn mower there last year and just needed a replacement deck belt. They told me they don't carry it and can't get it. They said they carry limited belts and blades for the mowers they sell. I think this is poor service. Belts and blades are the most commonly needed parts and to not carry them is poor. I would recommend if you buy a mower there to ask specifically if they carry belts and blades. My poor experience really turned me off. read more

I have been a big supporter of Lowe's for a long time, but the resent handling of a Freezer under warranty makes me crazy. The freezer was looked at by a service rep, with a part ordered, only to realize that it was going to cost more than it was worth. We were instructed to return it to a store only to be told that even with the credit card statement and it's serial number listed, it would not be accepted.REALLY! We own a Real Estate company that does a lot of business here since we deal in rentals, that could change. bought ceiling fan and paid 90 dollars for install by lowe's 3rd party "handy.com" contractor (cause that's how lowes does it now via a central number--no onsite contractor desk anymore), so contract was scheduled to show on 12/14 at 11:30, did not, got lost they said, and never bothered to locate home in huge development. called them to find whereabouts and they wouldn't answer my calls. finally called lowe's help number for installations at 888-516-1010. girls answering was nice and apologetic about no show, and arrange for another contractor to come do install 2.5 days later. if this is the kind of vetting of "quality" contractors they get to represent lowes maybe i will be taking my business to some place else, like a regular small business to do the work. lowes install services seems to have really gone down hill over the years. i would personally be ashamed of such shoddy service. what is lowe's advertisement say, "enjoy shopping at lowes".....i don't think so. read more

Employees are not at all friendly ! The lumber department is the worst. No purpose in trying the commercial sales desk or anyone in that department. Sales have no savings.
