If there was a 0 star, I'd give that. I understand supply chain issues and have no problem with having to wait for products come in. But, when the product is in and you have a price posted on the shelf - you honor your price. Such was not the case today. I was buying 4 GCFIs . The sign said $20.09 for 1, $39.19 for 3. When I went to check out they wanted $20.09 each despite the sign, then there was screw drivers - tag said $10.95 they wanted $29.95, and on and on it went. Prices shown should have resulted in a $300 bill not a $450 bill . Even after showing him the price verifications and photos of the prices on the shelves , the kid said no that's the new price. I asked for a manager, his response was no. The young man needs to learn about having a little respect for the customer. In the end, I decided Lowes can keep their products. Also I'm turning in my Lowest card tonight. After doing business with Lowes for 33 years, and renovating 2 houses with 5000 Sq ft of hardwood flooring, 10 pallets of marble and granite, 4 bathrooms renovated, 3 refrigerators, 2 sets of washers and dryers, and two custom kitchens from Lowes - I'm done. Never will I buy from Lowes Newburgh or any other Lowes again.

    Damage to fridge
    Melinda V.

They had the fridge we wanted and it was on sale at a great price and instock at the Newburgh store where we were. It was scheduled for delivery Monday. As promised in the delivery window, the fridge came and as the delivery company was unwrapping it, they notice damage to the front of the fridge and sides We were told that they had called the store up in Kingston and had an employee visually confirm the unit was there and place an order tag on it. It would be into Newburgh by Wednesday. Until the delivery truck came back with the refused fridge they couldn't do any return/exchange. Wednesday they tell me, the fridge is on its way, but it's not in Newburgh. I explain what had happened to the first fridge. I asked if there was a way in which to atleast do the return of the old fridge and rebuy it without returning it to my credit/debit card as that would tie up that money for atleast 3-5 business days until the return was reflected. So they agreed to do it as cash. So a different manager ordered the fridge now from Poughkeepsie. They completed the exchange and told me that they could see the order and the fridge was on it way, should be to Newburgh Thursday..delivery most likely Friday. Friday.. we had not received a delivery call Thursday night and we get a call Friday morning from Lowe's saying it's not on the truck and the manager at the appliance section what's going on. She says that the Kingston store was doing inventory so it never left that store. (You would think that store with inventory going on would've told them that when they called to ensure it was there. When I said that to this manager she said that associate may not have known) ok.. what about the 2nd fridge that was ordered from Poughkeepsie - she states the 2nd order was never put through the system and she doesn't know who helped me. I said the employee rang me up, I'm sure with the receipt I had she could see who's number it was. The appliance mgr ignored me as she and another employee looked for another fridge. I went to customer service and asked if she could tell me who rang me up with my receipt. She indeed found out who.. as I came back to appliances I actually see the guy and say to the appliance manager it was that guy that helped me and this is his name. She doesn't even acknowledge any of this: So now no one has this fridge. They know I'm Po'd and find as similar a fridge as they can as to what we had picked out. I then have to do another return/exchange and order. So I go back up to customer service and the manager who ordered the 2nd fridge for me is there. I am openly glaring. He feels my gaze burning into his soul so he jokingly hides his face with a piece of paper and says something like what going on? I said - you never ordered the fridge and now they say that aren't any. He says yes he did and even goes so far to bring up the order and have me come and see the order on his register. The managers have no idea what happened and can only apologize. So I ask, can you do everything you can to make sure this different fridge - which the appliance manager and an associate verified by walking to their stockroom that it was indeed instock and in their store. It would be on the truck for delivery Saturday 1:45... i call and speak to someone in receiving - they tell me the fridge isn't on the truck because they don't have it and in fact it says in the system they have -1. I tell her how can that be when 2 people had eyes on it yesterday and even had what bay or dock it was at in the back? I asked to speak to a manager and no one picks back up. I have been trying to speak to someone in appliances for 30 minutes.. it rings and rings or I get hung up on or someone has told me "let me check the manifest" and never comes back to the phone. I finally call and tell the person that answers I need to speak to an assistant manager and that no one has picked up.. my inner "Karen" is coming out.. finally one answers and it's one of the managers that ordered the first fridge and this replacement fridge. I explain that receiving is telling me that it wasn't on the truck and that they don't have it. She verifies it's there in the back and says it'll be delivered Sunday. As a customer who paid for the fridge already and has had to live out of a small cooler and spend extra cash for eating out for a week when it should never have taken a week. Sloppy all the way around. Get your poop in a loop Lowe's. And don't give me the we dont have enough people.. I work in retail as HR.. I'm struggling to hire as well..but you don't alienate and undervalue the customer. There were people helping me each day - just poor communications between depts. Appliances blaming other stores and receiving and even other managers.

Bought two appliances and problems on both orders. They do not care about customers after you purchase. Go across the street to Home Depot!

I find what I need and always get good custom service...whether it's in person or on the phone.
