Went here on Wednesday November 12th 2025 with my parents to look at christmas trees! We were at nearby Target, and then decided to come here! Loved their cute christmas decorations like a Mickey Mouse, and lots of christmas lights too! They had tons of christmas trees. However, not so cheap as compared to Target or Walmart. Poor management, stood in line for an hour for a promotion while multiple employees tended the line. Once the store opened THEN the manager said all promotions have already been claimed and they gave out tickets earlier. A simple heads up to those who froze at 35 degrees outside for an hr would have been professional. Looking for a widget for the RV, but they did not have it in stock. The very nice lady at the customer service counter offered to order it for me and I could pick it up in a few days. Much appreciated but I managed to find it elsewhere, sooner and cheaper. Other than that, the store is huge, stocked tidily and well organized. I have had a Lowe's credit card for about 4 years. Went to store today to make a purchase of about $400. The card was declined. It has a zero balance. There is no expiration date on the card. I have a credit score of about 815. I was never notified of any issues with the card. I was not offered an explanation of the issue. Today will be the last time I ever set foot in a Lowe's. I went to a competitor and made the purchase. Too many alternatives to this place. read more

The delivery service used is unacceptable. After receiving a text the day before and the morning of the scheduled delivery, we received a phone call 45 minutes later that delivering would be another 15 days. We have cancelled the order and now have to wait for a refund from Lowe's credit card vendor. We will never buy another appliance from ANY Lowe's store. Lowe's you need to do better in selecting your delivery vendor. They do not care about your customers or the service they are supposed to provide. read more

The customer service is the VERY WORST!! You have to actually look for the employees working in the area. Most times you have to walk to customer service and ask them to send the employee to the area you need them. When they arrive it's the same person you passed repeatedly simply walking around trying their best to hide for their 8 hour shift. When you ask for their help they answer "I don't know. Do not use Lowes for kitchen installation ! I hired Lowes to install 2 new kitchens in rental properties. Big mistake. So far 7 months and counting. The new cabinets were shipped to the properties in the same complex and install immediately. Unfortunately they were the wrong cabinets. Lowes had to come back to uninstall cabinets, order new cabinets and install correct cabinets. This process took about 6 weeks. Communication has been atrocious ! No response from voicemails or emails for weeks. It literally took months to get someone back for punchlist items with regards to the cabinet installation. Now waiting for them to come back again to complete punch list items. I am told I will be compensated for my dissatisfaction but I'm sure it won't satisfy me ! Reducing rating to 3 stars. Went to store tonight around 8pm to get a soffit vent. Lowes app says they have 12 in Aisle 17 Bay 24. While looking for the part, an employee is stocking the shelves there. I ask for the soffit vent and he says to check in roofing or plumbing section. Figuring he should know since he is working that section, I go. I check roofing and then go to the other end of the store to plumbing. In plumbing another employee tells me the part is in Aisle 17, where I started. So I head back, again, to other side of store. The original employee I spoke to first is still there and he avoids eye contact and doesn't ask if he could "help" again. I scan shelves and employee leaves. I continue my search but no shelf tag or box indicates my goal. Then I see the vent in a box of other types of vents. I grab it and it is an open package as well as in wrong box. Open or not, I am disgusted and make the purchase hoping it works out. read more

My mom is obsessed with Lowe's. She could spend hours and hours in any of the locations. Unfortunately I don't share the same obsession. She wanted to stop in to browse around, particularly the gardening department. They have a rack of clearance flowers and bushes near the back of the department--you can find good deals on it. The store is large. It's organized and well lit. read more

We were signed up for delivery of an in stock stove and refrigerator was ordered. Delivery scheduled in 7 days. We prepared, emptied refrigerator, cleaned old appliances, moved furniture to allow delivery. Waited and waited.... We were to receive a call to schedule time, window 12 to 4. 1:30 , no call. We called delivery and we were told they couldn't find the stove so cancelled delivery the day before without any notification to us. We were very angry, all food removed from refrigerator and furniture moved. We were told we can deliver in another week. Spending thousands of dollars in a store that cares nothing about customer service and common decency. We could get NO ONE to answer any line on the phone! We could not speak to a store manager! We ordered what is a standard vanity back in November with a delivery date of 11/29, 11/29 comes and goes with a new delivery date for January. Vanity arrives, wrong color. You typically can always get the items you're looking for there and if they aren't in the store they have them on their online store. I recently purchased a Kolbolt air compressor tool item number 125237. It was a defect. The cost was $22.00 and did not save my receipt for a twenty dollar item. It was purchased at the Myrtle Beach store located on Highway 17 Bypass, Myrtle Beach , SC. I returned to the store with valid ID but no receipt. I spoke to Gail who took my ID did a few key strokes and informed me that I can not get a store credit without a receipt. I did not want cash only store credit to immediately purchase other items. I had already replaced the defective item with another brand. At that point Patrick got involved and then the alleged store mgr. Chris. All did the same thing informing me no receipt, no credit. This consumed 30 minutes of my time. I called the corporate phone number and spoke with Joya and received the same result. I now have 45 minutes invested in this. Joya had taken my information. On Monday I spoke to Matt ( Store mgr. ) . He told me to come to the store to see if he can help me. What I needed him to say .....come to the store and I will give you store credit. I do not have time to be spent negotiating Store credit with 5 employees. The day will come when all employees involved especially Matt will learn what good customer service is about. We went here to try to choose our tiles and vanity and other items for a recent bathroom remodel. THey had a large selection. MOst of which wasn't in stock or the boxes had lots of broken tiles in them. Staff wasn't knowledgeable and rarely helpful. We ended up spending a little more on tiles but the convenience of this other company we used was well worth it. This was a stressful experience trying to pick things out here. I visited the store to check on the delivery after calling the warehouse and getting the same message over and over again, nothing more. People at the store tried to help me for a good hour and finally was told probably around ten at night. I canceled the purchase. Deliveries need to be made during normal business hours. Below is the recent letter I sent to Lowe's corporate on the Seaboard SC store: Honestly, I don't know if it's possible for one store to be so incredibly incompetent. My husband and I are remodeling our home in Myrtle Beach SC and have tried to work with the Seaboard store only to time and again run into people who have zero idea how to do their job. In December we ordered carpet and a screen door. The carpet that came in was not correct even though I stood at the counter with the correct carpet repeatedly asking if the salesperson had gotten the right SKU because the manufacturer had the same name on several items. Fortunately, I had taken a picture, so when the wrong carpet came, I could go in immediately to talk to them. It still took over a week for them to order the correct carpet and 2+ weeks for it to arrive for installation. Also, in December a screen door was ordered. The one installed in Jan was damaged, someone was sent out to inspect the door right away. However, it took 3 more weeks for a replacement door to ordered, when my husband called, he was told "oops we forgot to reorder." Needless to say, we still have not received it. We have been to the store so many times to get updates we've quit counting; one time we were told they only had one person capable of handling orders in the door department and she worked part-time. Finally, on 2/24 we ordered a double sink vanity that was delivered on 3/7 with the top smashed in. I called immediately and was given a case number (08188328), I called the Seaboard store in MB on 3/8, and an assistant manager told me she would work on getting another from the manufacturer and that she would stay in touch. I called back on 3/9 and was told they were waiting to hear back from manufacturer - I asked if they would be picking up the damaged item and was told they would call me back - nothing. Today, 3/10, when I called, I was told until they picked up the damaged item, they could not order a replacement, and that no one was trying to contact the manufacturer. Why did it take 4 days to give me this information, why did someone not start the procedure for pickup immediately? These are of course rhetorical question that I do not expect you to be able to answer, but rest assured there is one question I can answer, why do I keep using Lowe's? We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Scheduled a delivery for about $400.00 of pavers, sand, lawn furniture, etc. I was given a 4 hour window for delivery. They never showed up or called. I called 3 times to find out what happened. On first call, got disconnected. On 2nd call, a polite CSR apologized and promised someone from the Myrtle Beach store would call be back immediately. The next day after never hearing from anyone, I called a 3rd time and was promised someone one call. No calls. No emails. 3 days later, my order is still in their system as 'preparing your order'. Rude, disrespectful and absolutely NO regard to common courtesy whatsoever. Received multiple voice mails that delivery was coming but never showed up. We waited from 8am until 12pm for our furniture to be delivered. When it never came we called. On hold for half an hour we drove to Lowes still on hold walked in the store and waited another 20 min for someone to help us. They never had our furniture it had been sold to someone else. No phone call that they were sorry. They had someone put together another set for us and gave us their truck to deliver our own furniture. We had to wait an hour for the truck. My refrigerator died over the 4th of July. I purchased an LG refrigerator from Lowe's including an ice maker- installed. It is now February and I've called monthly for an update. Every time I do I have to go through several days of call backs and explaining the entire situation over and over. I went to the kitchen department to get a price on cabinets as we were replacing our old ones. I picked out the cabinets, provided a drawing and pictures of the kitchen. I was told someone would figure out the price and contact me within a day or two. I went back home to PA. Returned to the store 10 days later. They found my paper in a file "Oh, wasn't sure what I was to do with this" (Darryl). I was then told "I'll call with a price tomorrow morning" Five days later no call. Ordered a storm door 7 weeks ago. Notified Lowes received door 2 weeks ago. Have made appointment several times to have the door installed. Missed one call otherwise the store knows nothing, the install department knows nothing and ONE installer to take care of N. Carolina and South C. at little river, longs & n. myrtle beach. Another week with no (fully paid for) storm door & no install date scheduled. One installer can only do so much. What happened to Lowes???? Is there any management overseeing anything. Lowes use to be good however now they have no time for the customers, I placed an order for delivery and was charged $79 then later to find out most of it was put in pick up and the two smallest items we left for delivery. I called the store to speak to customer service and the phone rang for 20 minutes with no answer and then the pick up the phone and slam it down. I called back two more times and was hung up on again. When I got a customer service person willing to do their job they asked for my order number and put me on hold then hung up. At this point I wanted to cancel a $161 order and was told they can't help me now and I had to call back in the morning. I tried reaching the store manager and the system sends your call to customer service who don't answer the phone. Since last October I must have spent about ten thousand dollars in this Lowes location and now can't even get someone to help me. If there was no stars for this poor excuse for a home store I would have given it. Rude people in customer service and not the kind of place where I will spend my money again. Weeks and hours spent calling to let them know our brand new washer dryer unit will not work and still nothing! They promise to have someone call them they don't! I had to hire an independent person to look at a brand new set only to be told it was the switch on the dryer. Since it's a combo unit, it's no good to us and it's been a month of being lied to, no follow up for customer service and still no dad blamed washer and dryer! Rob promised us he'd send someone out the first week and didn't then I just couldn't back through to him for a week! The phone would ring with no VM and no answer! Then by the time I hit him again I had been lied to by several other females. Then he acts shocked and assured me they would just order a new one and should have it in a couple of days last week! Now over a week gone by again with no call back! I'm sick and tired of spending so much time and energy begging these people to help me. If the delivery and installer people had bothered to make sure it worked before they left with our old unit, this could have been corrected over a month ago! The staff is so helpful! I generally despise going to the hardware store, and it's usually an overwhelming experience. I've made several trips to different home improvement stores lately, but today I went into this Lowe's on Seaboard Street. The staff was seriously so helpful. A guy helped me in the plumbing section, and he found what I was looking for so quickly I didn't even have time to look at his name tag. Joey in the lumber section went above and beyond, and I am so appreciative. I will definitely come back to this hardware store the next time I need something. Excellent staff. read more
