Hi my name is My anh Stinson. Some times I go to Lowes to get things I need for my garden. Last time I went .I pay for 6 bags of soil. Brought home 7 . Came back the next day and pay for it. Today on a Sunday April 19th I went to get 25 bags of much. Spend over 54$. . Got cash back for 40$.. Wanted to get two 10$ to give to the 2 young men that work hard in the hot sun putting 25 bags of much in the truck. The cashier's wouldn't change the 20 and the Manager wouldn't either. They refuse to help. I had to go and buy a coke to get change for a $20 and a water to get change for the other 20$. I am totally upset. Finally I got 4 fives to give each a 10$ tip. This Lowes is either grossly under staffed or the staff is just lazy because myself and another lady wanted at the Paint counter for 40 mins, hit the button for help 4-5 times. One worker came over and turned the button off, telling us someone was on their way, but 15 mins later no one showed, we hit the button again, waited 20 more minutes, no one came even after hearing the call for help over the stores intercom. So after 40 mins, no help, we both left the store. That is pathetic and a horrible way to treat customers. read more

Buyer beware!!! Lowes has no problem selling you a faulty product and refusing the return. This goes for appliances, electronics all the way to nails and screws. Be very cautious in buying from them. If you get home and the product doesn't work they will not issue you a refund. Much better off at Home Depot where they care about their customer. read more

Saw a mower priced wrong and told an employee. He said I should buy it as they would honor the price and thanked me for telling him. Spent two weeks on the phone as trying to get it delivered as they didn't actually schedule it, then it didn't start and they couldn't find a replacment. One finally arrived covered in scratches and was damaged even worse on delivery by the forklift. When I called to complain, I was told "it shouldn't matter what it looks like and that I was lucky to even get a floor model". We ordered a Samsung Bespoke Family Hub fridge from Lowe's at the end of October. At the time, the couldn't tell us when it would be delivered. They thought sometime in January. We continued to check in because we'd seen other stores saying they had the fridge in stock. So on Veterans Day we went in because their website had the price of our fridge for $200 less and we wanted to see 1. If they had a delivery date yet and 2. Could they honor the website price. Come to find out after about 45 mins they told us that the fridge had been discontinued. Really?! The brand new top of the line Samsung fridge was discontinued? I beg to differ. I did and Lowe's couldn't have cared less. After offering me no solution I told them I wanted my money back and I'd go order directly from Samsung...to which I was pompously told by the Lowe's employee that I was certainly welcome to do that but he assured me Samsung might let me place the order but I'd get an email a few days later telling me the fridge was discontinued. Well look what Samsung just delivered to me yesterday (see photo)! Got my fridge and got it for almost $1000 less than Lowes wanted to charge me. read more

Mr. Bill helped me find exactly what I needed for my project and was kind and helpful the whole time, even though I was mostly clueless to what I needed. I was at the Lowes in Mount Juliet, TN today and knew I would be buying many plants. I couldn't find a cart to put the plants in, so I went up to two managers who were standing talking and asked if there were any carts around. One looked around and said, "No, we don't have anyone to bring them in from the parking lot!" I am 70 years old, but I went out in the lot, found a cart, brought it in, and bought $130 worth of plants. I decieded to add on a Mother In Laws quarters and I bought all my products needed for the kitchen and bathroom, that I possibly could, I had awesome help and even wrote Corporate about the employees and they great help and knowledge, I was there almost every day for three months with contractors and truly spent approx. 20 thousand and so pleased with the results. I did buy a few items at Habit but most everything was bought at Lowe's from lumber to insulation to cabinets, and counter top, I have had it rented from day one of completion and get so many complements, even down to the paint I bought there. I still go there often for items for our home and always pleased with the service and customer help, they truly care, and help me find the best value for my dollar and also best warrenties for the product I was and am buying. Needed help with design of valances that came with my custom cut blinds. Felt I was in good hands when the department supervisor (Tony) said he would take care of me after giving me a very warm welcome and his personal cell number to contact him. I had brought the valances in with me, only to be turned away after a discussion of Tony saying he had to ask the Bali Rep if the valances could be recut to extend 1/2" past the window frames on each sides (for which I was even willing to partly pay for). I was told he would contact me the next day but I didn't hold him to that as we were heading into a weekend. That Monday I contacted him with him telling me he still needed to get in touch with the rep., again with no follow-up. The following 2 weeks, I made many phone calls back to Tony, leaving messages for a returned callback but got nothing! When I finally was able to catch up with him, Tony asked if he could put me on a "brief" hold. After holding for 4 mins., the call was cut off and I received a text from him saying he would call me right back. From that point, I have yet to receive that call back. Long story short & moral of the story: don't leave the Home Decor department, at the Mt. Juliet, TN location, until you are 100% happy and get your results while you are still there! I would have been much more satisied if Tony had simply called me back with Bali rep updates &/or for him to have told me that the valances are designed to be flush with the window frames and have been cut as they are designed to be. On 8/16 I placed an order online for a washing machine. The process was fast and easy. I was not able to schedule a delivery online, but it assigned a date of Wednesday 8/18 between 12-4pm. On 8/18, we waited, and waited and waited...until 7:30pm when we called the 3rd party delivery service our store has contracted. We were told that the delivery driver had injured himself and they would not be coming that day. When we asked if anyone was going to call us, they meant to but never got around to it. We were disappointed, but worked with the service to re-schedule our delivery for today 8/20 between 8a-12pm. Today 8/20, again, we waited and waited...but nobody showed up. So we called the delivery service again. We were told that they had rescheduled our delivery for tomorrow. When we asked if anyone was going to let us know, they said that wasn't their problem and to call the store. Subsequently, I called the Customer Service number online 1-800-445-6937 and held for 45 min. The call was answered, I told my story and the agent said she was going to place me on hold so she could call the store, then promptly hung up on me. Next I started a chat, I have the transcripts if you would like to see them. Gave all the details to Abel S, my chat was transferred, so I had to give all my details again Kim. Kim said she would have the store manager call me 'within the hour'. TWO hours later, we still had not received a call. I started another chat to explain what was going on and asked the representative to get the Store Manager to call us while we were on the chat. This time it worked, and Brian - who said he was 'a' Store Manager called us. It was the most un-polished, terrible conversation I've had in a while with any company. If Brian is a store manager, someone needs to send him back to customer service training. There was a lot of "Well if you would let me finish.." or "That's not our fault, it's the delivery company", or "This is just how things work, I can't help you", with lots of interruptions and absolutely terrible tone. I am a contractor that usually goes to the big Orange place. But my customer wants to use her Lowe's credit card and gets a discount so no big deal I'll go there instead. Let me tell you that this particular location is not very contractor friendly. Firs of all I needed drywall and had to pull off several damaged pieces off the pile to get to some decent ones this is annoying and the fact that they are hoping some poor sucker will buy these is not very noble. Then I go to the cashier (blonde lady glasses) and I say "this is a phone sale" she takes a deep sigh rings up my opener and you can tell she is not happy. She gets on the phone with my client and my client wants to update her email address this lady rolls her eyes while on the phone . When she hung up I tried making light and said you really hate phone sales she said angrily "yes I do" . Well I wish they wouldn't do them either this way my client will just get a orange card .they are happy to see me regardless if I'm doing a phone sale. read more

During a 100K remodel of my house over the last four months I was let down on four different visits for common items not restocked. As a result, I travel 8 miles away to Hermitage and gave my business to Boomer and Loundon (management at Lowe's). Also, gave my business to Home Depot across the street. Mount Juliet Lowe's could have received all my business if 1) items were in stock, and 2) if the staff didn't try avoiding customers. Horrible horrible horrible- ordered fence panels to be delivered. mount Juliet lowes KNOWINgly sent water damaged and molded fence panels. The delivery guy told me he told them they looked bad. I purchased carpet 6 yrs ago which was not stretched properly, I had a laminate floor installed with many imperfections, I purchased a stove & the oven light went out 1 week after the purchase & was told I had to pay over $50. for a new one, I purchased a refrigerator & the delivery man handed me the plastic bottom strip which was broken so my brand new refrigerator looked like an old used one or bought from a scratch & dent store. My latest purchase was a shed last year & when I walked into it this morning there are termites everywhere! in the experiences i've had here recently, i've encountered some poor customer service. granted sometimes i forget to take off my cloak of invisibility before i leave my house, so they may just not see me...but most recently, i went in with my husband, and the cashier walked away from us as soon as we approached her to call for an employee to go to another department, and we waited for her to acknowledge us and our one little draw knob we wished to purchase for a few minutes-she could have looked up and said "i'll be with y'all in a moment" or at least a smile and "one moment"....but no, it's almost as if she intentionally kept her head down so she wouldn't have to multi-task by ringing up a draw pull. then other times, employees are more interested in having conversations with each other while ringing up customers than acknowledging the customer and being gracious for our patronage. it's as if they don't even care. take pride in what you do and appreciate your customer. i can drive down the interstate a few exits to go to home depot next time. read more

I've been renovating my home and have spent thousands of dollars at this store. After finding a vanity at the same store that already had a faucet included I Tried to return the faucet I had purchased previously. I didn't have a receipt for it and was told by the clerk and manager that their policy did not allow returns without a receipt. The box still had the price on it, was unopened and I could not even get a store credit. I told the manager to keep the faucet but I would not be back. Looks like they don't mind losing a customer. They are terrible ,,,, I have in the last 3 years spent 15k with Lowes 10k on a split unit air system and my most recent was a 1300 dollar dish washer before thanksgiving . We were told that by the 21st it would be installed we bought it on the 8th of November .. I didn't mind that I though at least it would be in before thanksgiving dinner ... I was not contacted by any one and the 21st came and went the 22nd came and went I called and asked and was told oh its been in the warehouse since the 15th and no one told the installation company and now its too late will have to wait till we have some one to install it.. on the following Monday we are finally called and told the dish washer will arrive... it did and was installed ( the guy doing the installation was very good and very professional) but now the dish washer in less then 2 weeks has now thrown a error code and when I call Lowes I get (did you call the manufacture? ) I almost jumped through the phone ... my wife paid a couple hundred dollars for a extended warranty so she would not have a issue with dealing with the manufacturer because its a Lowes installation warranty ,,., Lack of customer service and complete lack of communication is what you can expect... I have some concrete work that a guy is going to help me with. I told him I would pickup the supplies. I needed several 50lbs. of concrete and some other supplies. I entered through the building materials entrance. I asked a fellow behing the tool rental counter if someone could put the concrete and other items on my cart. He summoned another guy that had just come on duty to help me. I have had open shoulder surgery and from using my left shoulder to compensate I injured it. Not only did this gentleman load my cart he also pushed it to my truck. He proceeed to unload it into my truck which has a 8' lift kit. When he was done I tried to tip the worker and he refused to take it. For one its hard to realize you can not do something that you have always done.I offered a substantial tip to the worker and he refused 3 times to take it. He said "give it your son when he unloads it". How refreshing. in these times to see people that have good old fashion values and they are willing to help.. read more
