He was super friendly and helpful. Once I got what I was after, I wandered around the store, which was well kept, well stocked, organized and clean. At checkout, Jordan, was friendly and efficient. Overall, solid local Ace Hardware. While I am not in White House too often, when I do find myself in the area and after some hardware related goods, I would definitely swing back through.

Where to start describing this place?…read more Hardware: do you remember that local hardware store that always had that one weird part you needed? This is that place. Plumbing, electrical, fasteners, fan belts, air filters, light bulbs, tools, small engine repair, keys, etc... Feed: farm and garden supplies, compost, feed, local produce, etc... Farmacy: homeopathic remedies, CBD, fresh local herbs and spices, teas, etc... They also have a fine selection of beer and wine, and a kitchen with wonderfully fresh, locally-sourced meats and produce - great burgers and fries, salads, mushrooms, onion rings, etc... (I hear pizza is coming;-) And since the owners are accomplished musicians, they put in a full stage with back line, lights and sound, a piano and a Hammond organ with Leslie. They have 2 or 3 musical acts a day. Come in for lunch, where most days Gene Dunlap (Faron Young, Loretta Lynn, et.al.) plays piano jazz and country, often accompanied by a patron who happens to play an instrument or sings. Around dinnertime, there is typically a jazz combo playing the great American songbook while you eat, or you can browse for hardware with a beer in your hand! Can't do that at Lowe's! Nightly entertainment is one or two acts playing all styles: blues, country, rock, pop, bluegrass, soul, R&B; everything from solo singer/songwriter to full bands with horns, and everything in between. Check their social media for the current lineup. Saturday afternoon is one of the most magical times - the Open Community Jam starts at noon and everyone is welcome to come participate - can't play an instrument? That's okay, come and sing your favorite song, backed up by some of Nashville's best. Oh, and they've converted the loading dock and back yard to a smoking and pet-friendly hang spot that doubles as an extra stage and performance space where they often have outdoor festivals and makers markets. Family-friendly, everyone-is-welcome, judgement-free community vibe. If you want a fancy, corporate, cookie-cutter hardware store or honky-tonk, this ain't it. If you prefer a down-home, out of the way, locally owned and run small business, try Joelton Hardware. This is my favorite place. It'll be yours, too. P.S. A few of the other reviews have mentioned that service can be slow at times. This is often because the owner and/or her kids are doing everything - cooking the food, waiting tables, selling hardware, and running the register. It will only get better as business builds and Kris can hire more people. Be patient and enjoy the vibe of the place. It is always worth it to your soul to slow down a little and escape the hustle and bustle.

You walk in the store and there is a bar with a cash register. A few tables scattered down the middle with a stage on the far left side of the room. You see the kitchen window in the back, but there are also various items you can buy. Need a light bulb? Got it. Plumbing? Yep. Electrical? Sure. Fan belt? Why not. In short, a very unique atmosphere and worth coming at least once just to see it for yourself. When we got there, the band had just gotten up to play. The lead singer announced his drummer was unable to make it, so his son was stepping in. How was the band? They were okay. But this is just outside of Nashville, where you can find famous country artists singing in their local church and musicians that can pick up any song by listening to a short section on their phone. The kid was actually a good drummer. Band played a lot of oldies, and not country. I give them two thumbs up. Decent beer list for the standard domestic and craft beers you find at most places. I believe they rotate some of their handles, but did not confirm that. Food? Fairly standard for a small town place. Tenders were breaded in house. Not sure, but the fries appears to be hand cut, with skins on. If frozen, they did not destarch the fries, which would be unusual. The gyro is not on a spit (not surprising) so a bit less appealing, but the fresh produce was a nice touch after so many places having what is obviously sysco produce. I would rank this as a nice spot to grab a meal and listen to live music after a trail walk in either Beaman Park or Fontannel.

Staff was most helpful and we found what we wanted quickly. Besides mulch we also bought a hose timer, an adorable bird house and some seeds. I'm a veteran so I get 10% off. You have to register for this but it's easy and they can help you at the cash register if you need help. And HD's are dog friendly. Dogs love it here!

I go to the nearby TruFit gym, so on occasion when I need something or don't, I swing in this Home Depot. This store is always clean and organized, and is in good shape. I have picked up everything from nuts/bolts, to tools, wood, paint and light fixtures here. The service here was decent. Was passed a few times on the floor without being acknowledged, but when I sought someone out they were good to help. Completed self-check and the Associate there wished us well as we left. Overall, while this Home Depot is standard and nothing special, it is a solid spot to swing through when the need or itch arises.

I began this project in February 2026 by visiting the Dickerson Road Lowe's location. The measurements were completed in March 2026, and I was originally told that the door would arrive around May 3 or May 5. However, the delivery and installation were delayed multiple times. I received several phone calls advising me that the expected date had been pushed back to June 15, then the end of June, then June 22 or 23, and finally on June 29, I was informed that the door had arrived but the framework, hardware, and other installation materials had not. Later that same day, I was called again and told that the framework, hardware, and remaining installation materials would be delivered on July 1, with the door to be delivered on July 2. On both days, I had to remain home for most of the day waiting for the deliveries. When the installation materials were delivered on July 1, I specifically instructed the driver to take everything to the back of the house and place it inside. Instead, the materials were left on the concrete driveway. Shortly afterward, a severe storm occurred, and the materials were exposed to heavy rain. On July 2, when the door was delivered, I again specifically instructed the delivery team to place the door inside the house. Instead, they parked in front of my neighbor's house on the opposite side of my home rather than using the driveway and left the door outside near the back of the house instead of placing it inside as repeatedly instructed. Soon afterward, another severe storm occurred, leaving the door exposed to the weather. The door and installation materials remained outside through multiple rainstorms and extreme summer heat before I received another call regarding the project. After everything that had occurred, I informed Tiarra that I wanted a full refund. I made this request after the Fourth of July but before July 10, well before the scheduled installation date of July 22. In addition to the repeated delays and improper handling of the materials, I also discovered that the door did not appear to be the correct color. I ordered a black door, but the door that was delivered appeared to be white. The door, framework, hardware, and all other installation materials remained exposed to repeated rain and excessive heat until they were finally picked up before July 20. Because of the repeated delays, the improper deliveries, the failure to follow my instructions, the weather damage caused by leaving the materials outside, and the incorrect door color, I requested a full refund. I am requesting that the entire purchase amount, as shown in the attached documentation, be credited back to my Synchrony account so that the account reflects a zero balance. I have also been trying to reach you, Ms. Luke, today regarding this matter. The phone rings repeatedly, but no one answers. After signing into my Synchrony account, I am trying to determine why the refund issued does not result in a zero balance. I have attached documentation showing both the original purchase amount and the remaining balance on my Synchrony account. I did not have an existing balance with Synchrony before making this purchase through Lowe's. Therefore, once the full refund is processed, my Synchrony account should have a zero balance. Please review this matter and correct the refund amount so that my Synchrony account is paid in full and reflects a zero balance. Unfortunately, based on this experience from the repeated delays and lack of communication to the improper handling of my order and the delay and unresolved refund issue, I have completely lost confidence in Lowe's installation services.
