This location is always clean tho sometimes the service can be lacking. I can't count how many times I've walked around the store and no one even says HI. They have a decent houseplant section, sometimes some surprise rare ones come in and they don't realize what they have. The seasonal plants they are a little behind compared to the nurseries. Last we asked they have a 1 year warranty on the plants, so keep the receipt. read more

Lowe's would not let me refund a Moen faucet I mistakenly purchased because it was over 90 days. I respect their right to set time limits. I was told, "The computer won't let us. There is nothing we can do." Call me old fashioned, but I am accustomed to the store manager being able to hear my story and overriding the system due to my circumstances. They can not. I prefer to shop with stores that are more personal and grant their managers freedom to make judgment calls. In other words, deal with customers on a personal basis. I came in today 5/23/25 searching for concrete splash guards. Online said they had them available in store, so I went down to the Mansfield store before work. I asked one of the employees where I would find the concrete splash guard, the employee directed me to the garden section. I made my way to the garden section but had no success finding them. A kind employee Jeff walked me to the area where they were supposed to be , unfortunately they were out of stock and he then walked me to where I could find some alternatives (at the other end of the store). I appreciated that Jeff took the time to help me out. As I walked out empty handed (the alternative plastic splash guards did not seem durable enough) . The original employee who directed me to the garden section asked if I found what I was looking for. I advised her that although online said they were stocked I was unable to find any. She seemed shocked and took out her inventory devise and apologized and informed me that looks like someone made an online order and took all that were available. She was very helpful as to give me a reason why I didn't see them in store. She also took the time to go to her desk (by self check out- I didn't quite catch her name) and informed me that the Arlington Lowe's had 2 in stock at their location and 55 at the Fort Worth location. If zero was an option... Ordered a refrigerator December 2020 and scheduled delivery for January 13, 2021. At the end of the day , although ordered well in advance the refrigerator was not delivered. I did not receive any notification that it would not be delivered. I called near the end of the delivery window to verify the directions and to see the status only to be told over a three hour conversation of back and forth transfers and calls FIVE different stories: #1: Customer refused the refrigerator at delivery (inaccurate). #2: The refrigerator was damaged. #3 Retail Direct has a cap on the amount of deliveries although I was their scheduled second stop they chose not to deliver my appliance. #4: Lowe's canceled the order. #5: The refrigerator was not in stock. The third party delivery company and Lowe's do not have the best communication. The truth doesn't seem to resonate between the two companies. January 14: I called at 5:47 am to verify the delivery and Retail Direct shared that Lowe's did not put in the ticket. Even after the conversations and calls Lowe's failed to put in the ticket causes the delivery company to not receive it. After 30 minutes we got in contact with Teresa, Lowe's manger again and she put in the ticket and caught the truck before it left. They arrived at the house 10:55 am with a damaged refrigerator. It was warped, dented and scratched on the side, bottom, and top. Retail Direct didn't take it off the truck. Came to Lowe's. Managers are unavailable. read more

Ordered flooring for our home and the process was a complete disaster. They delivered incorrectly someone else's flooring not once, but twice. They promised a crew of 5 to remove our glue down flooring and 2 people arrived. The people that arrived asked me to use my credit card so they could rent a floor stripping machine. They promised the project would take 6 days and it took 14 days. They cracked our kitchen tile, broke 3 door stops and left an absolute mess throughout the home. They didn't level the flooring properly and put the underlayment down the wrong direction and then cussed at me when I pointed out their errors. When they were done the flooring popped and cracked because they cut it too tight and it was buckling. After 6 months of calls they finally sent out a supervisor to walk the floors. They weren't satisficed with his suggestions that the entire floor be replaced so they sent out a different supervisor. This happened over and over again until 5 separate people had made 5 separate appointments and all came to the same conclusion that the floor was incorrectly installed. Once they approved a new floor it took another 4 months to get the materials to my home and redo the entire process over again. I cannot suggest strongly enough not to use Lowes for your flooring needs. read more

I want to give a shout out to two Lowe's employees that went the extra mile Chris and Nathan. I stopped into Lowe's to buy just 2 2x6x8' rough Cedar boards but the only 3 on the shelf weren't worth buying. As I was walking out Nathan, who was on a Forklift near the front door and another employee asked what I was looking for. I told them as I reverse course to show them the rather empty spot and the 3 boards I had to choose from. About that time Chris's shift must have ended as he no longer was adorned with the familiar red vest. He stopped to hear the conversation and immediately went to check the computer which indicated a pallet of the illusive 2x6's were somewhere in the "bullpen." Without hesitation, Chris, Nathan and the other employee set out to solve my dilemma. Within just a few short minutes, Nathan came through the clear stripped plastic weather barrier sitting a top another Forklift with a full pallet which quickly found it's rite full place inside the store. Let me start by saying I've been a Lowe's customer for many years. Today, I attempted to return some unopened plumbing supplies - Danco hot/cold stems - to be exact and was told at the service desk that they could not accept my return, even for store credit, without a receipt because this is a "high theft". I then attempted to speak with someone online at Lowe's customer service in chat to find out more and was disconnected twice. It doesn't specify anywhere either in store or online that this product is nonreturnable without a receipt. If this is their new policy, then I will gladly take my business elsewhere. read more

We purchased carpet from this location. The communication in the flooring department was terrible. We waited for delivery of our carpet to find out that it had never been ordered and that it was then out of stock. The second (second choice carpet)order I was told it would ship that day. When I called to confirm shipping 3 days later they had not finalized the order and the carpet did not ship. We got two different stories of where our carpet was. Finally a new associate actually found our carpet had been delivered to the store. Lowes explained how padding would go down and their installer did not tape padding to seal out moisture. The installation company told us a whole different story about the padding installation than Lowes. Bottom line is Lowes is not the place to purchase carpet. read more

Very unpleased with their customer service. I had a pickup order, had received my email and a call saying it was ready to pick up. When I got to the line they asked me for my order number. The guy told someone to go get it. I was waiting for like 15 minutes for the guy to Come back and say he couldn't find it. While waiting I had to hear personal conversation between the associates while helping other customers. One calling the other a boomer while she was ringing an elderly customer. Well back to my order, the guy send him back to find my order after another 8 minutes he finally came back saying he found it. Wouldn't you think since it was a pickup order and they had already called me to let me know it was ready for pickup they would have it ready to pickup. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! This store reeks of MISMANAGEMENT and is in DIRE NEED OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you are considering them for FLOORING, RUN AWAY! I went to the flooring department on several occasions to get information about their installation and to pick out a flooring product. Each time I had WAIT for help and have the department representative paged because they were on break. After purchasing my flooring and paying for installation by a LOWE's contractor, I had nothing but PROBLEMS. I had to contact the store several times to get a call to have someone come out and measure my house (which is required by LOWE's prior to install). After being reached by a scheduler I was greeted with RUDE service and was limited an EXTREMELY LIMITED SCHEDULE by the contractor. In addition I was told that they were not even sure why they had my info because they really didn't service my area. After contacting the Mansfield LOWE's again to tell them the situation they told me they would have another contractor contact me the following day. Three days later, still NO PHONE CALL. I went to the store and demanded a refund. I had to wait 45 minutes because they could not figure out how to refund my money. After 45 minutes the manager told me they would have to research and that they would contact me the following morning. The following morning I did not receive a phone call. I called the store that afternoon and spoke with same manager and he said he had not had a chance to get to it yet. Finally they issued my refund later that day, but then shorted me $70! I finally called corporate and told them I was tired of dealing with the local store. After contacting the store again we learned that they later issued the refund, I am assuming due to my call to corporate. If you want a big chain store that don't care about service, then LOWE's Mansfield is a place for you. If you want customer service, please go somewhere else. I hope I save you the HASSLE! read more

Had a 4 hour window from 11am-3pm YESTERDAY, waited all day, to find out at 6pm, that we were NOT going to get our furniture. After WE had to continuously call them for updates. Now, (after being told by the supposed "manager" that we could have our delivery today) we are being told we have to wait another 2 days, because she did not schedule us for today. It took a couple tries to get it to fit but it finally ended up fitting in a way where we could tie some rope to close the hitch. This lowes in mansfield is a handy little store. It's fairly easy to get in and out of and very well stocked. My last visit was one that impressed me and this is the sole purpose of writing this review. We came in on Saturday with a project in mind for painting our shop, that has a plain concrete floor, with epoxy paint. We ventured over to the paint desk and I asked about the epoxy paint and if they carried it. We happened to have stumbled upon, and I can't remember his name, apparently the epoxy paint expert. He led us over to the section where it was located and asked us a bunch of questions regarding if it was painted already, have we cleaned it, so on and so on... Long story short he was literally a wealth of knowledge as far as how much to use, how to prep, all the way down to what size roller we should use (1/4" lol). I was thoroughly impressed. It's nice to have someone so knowledgeable working in a department you are asking questions in...not all places hire people that are that informative. I really wish I could remember his name because he deserves some credit for helping us so much. To wrap it up he got all of our paint mixed the color grey we chose and our sealer shaken up. We thanked him for all his help. Lowe's definitely needs more employees like him. ****i came back in to get two extra gallons of the epoxy paint to finish the extra final coat. The same gentleman was there and helped me again. His name is Christopher and he was extremely helpful again. Terrible customer service and garden center help! I need multiple bags of mulch loaded. I wait at side gate. No one comes. I walk back around, they call again. No one comes. I try calling 3 times, no one answers. I tried customer service twice to talk to a manager. They put me on hold and never come back. I walk around again. They tell me I can go to customer service and get a refund. A nice worker, Isiah, that I guess does not do that job offered to do it for me. More than 30 minutes of waiting I finally get the mulch. I don't understand the negative reviews as I've been shopping at the Mansfield Lowes since the day it opened. I've never had a major issue with them and have bought items from nearly every department from new refrigerators, lumber, sprinkler parts to the garden center. Returns are easy and quick. It is an excellent store with knowledgeable, friendly staff. Martha, Judy, and Joe are all are standout employees. And as a veteran I know that Lowes was the first to offer a discount to all vets. If this store cannot afford to have sales people available they should shut down. I waited 19 minutes in light bulbs for assistance, and after the 3rd attempt to get help someone from appliances came up and didn't know anything about light bulbs. I waiting in Kitchen counter tops for 1/2 hour and heard the operator ask many times for help needed and no one came. I finally went home and called counter tops, got hung up on 3 times, got wrong depts. 4 times, and waited 25 minutes for some in counter tops to answer. Finally someone in Appliances answered and said "Jose in counter tops went home for the day" (this was at 3:00) No wonder online shopping is killing brick and mortar stores. Pathetic!!
