I honestly can't remember the last time I just wandered around Lowe's, but this visit really inspired me. Walking through the store actually made me feel motivated to start new projects at home. The plant section was my favorite part, and the surprise kitty therapy out in the garden area totally made my day. It's such a relaxing place to just look around and get ideas. I was also helped right away by a gentleman named Jared, who was friendly and helpful without being pushy. Great customer service makes such a difference. I definitely went in for a few things and walked out spending way more than planned, definitely worth it's value and in a good way. I left feeling inspired and ready to get things done at home. Stopped by Lowe's last night with my dog as Lowe's stores are dog friendly. I wanted to look at some flooring and tile for a project I was working on. The employees were helpful and checked on me if I needed assistance. The prices are pretty good and they have a large selection to choose from. They also have Duke Cannon grooming goods and I grabbed a couple of those too. I really like the self-checkout stations that they have. I can scan and pay for my items quickly and efficiently. Went looking for Teflon tape and I used the Lowe's APP. Said the tape was in aisle 46 Bay 12. No tape there. Tried to get attention from a worker there but she ignored me. Another did finally help me find it. It was in aisle 17, waayyyyy off. This has been going on for months. Nothing is where it's supposed to be. What's going on management? Home Depot doesn't have this problem but they are all the way across town. Also I have to scan my drivers license every time I want to get the military discount. Again I don't have to do this at Home Depot. I know you can do better. read more

Purchased a brand new kitchen sink & garbage disposal, time to install it, take the sink out of the sealed box. DENTS ALL OVER THE TOP OF IT. Obviously it was installed, re-taped & returned. Decided to check the garage disposal before installing it, had hair & food garbage in it () another used and returned item. That's not the most frustrating moment. Arrived at the return area, was met with a smart*** punk who thought it was funny. He stated " hey I need a new sink, maybe I'll take this one", after spending a lot of the day preparing a new counter to have to return both items I was not amused. Asked to speak to a manager as this kids attitude was awful, she was honestly no better. We suggested that when you accept returns, that you need to OPEN THE BOX AND INSPECT THE ITEM! not just be lazy and return it to the shelf for it to be the next customers problem. Punk said " that's out of control" REALLY? you work in the RETURN AREA. Found an employee on our way to go find another sink and garbage disposal, she asked if we needed help, explained what had just happened and she bent over backwards to help, was very apologetic and went with us to pro desk to be sure everything was handled. We opened the box to check for damage on new sink ( as prior damage was all along the top) looked good, away we go..... We shop at Lowe's a lot (we've remodeled 4 homes) Management needs to take a good look at your return processes and send the return desk employees back thru " How to treat customers" sensitivity training. You used to go to Lowe's for better customer service than Home Depot. That's not the case in Lodi anymore. Sometimes I think the store runs itself because you can never find anyone. The only person who offered to help didn't know anything and was trying to sell me solar. I only stopped by because I had a gift card and was also in the market for dual washer and dryers. I ended up buying two towers direct from LG because no one came the the appliance section after pressing the help button and waiting 10 minutes next to it. My hubbs & I went 2 Lowe's in Lodi, CA today. While in their garden area, when encountered 3 sweet cats, who had obviously been trapped, fixed & released. Identified by their clipped tip of their ears. We believe they're used as vermin control or what 'we more rural' folk call 'Farm cats'. I love that Lowe's gives these cats a job for a place to live. Although I feel like price-wise they are pretty similar, I prefer this Lowe's to the Home Depot in town. In my opinion, they have a better garden center. The store also seems to be organized in a way that makes more sense and just overall cleaner and neater. They also have more parking, better parking and much better wi-fi. I don't always feel like I get the best help here; but I realize not every employee can be proactive and/or have a wealth of knowledge. I love that I can bring my dog with me when I shop here and if I need something from a large home improvement store, this is where I go. read more

Walking into this particular location, I already knew what I was looking for and what I wanted. Throughout our shopping experience, I wasn't too sure how it was feeling about the customer service side of things. But towards the end of our shopping that was all turned around. We were helped in the wood cutting section, then the gentleman that was helping us there asked us if we needed help with anything else and as a matter fact I did lol so I asked him about a certain type of Sand and he guided me to that area and then from there our checkout process the lady assisting us. There was helpful but at the same time she made it aware that she was just doing a lunch coverage for another Associate. So that changed my perspective a little bit of my rating for this location. I like the location of this store and the availability of items that I was looking for. I found a do it yourself display garden box outside of the location and that was one of my guides that I used to create my own garden box they also had a very good selection of Soil mix so I picked up about 10 bags. It was nice to be able to walk in and find everything that I needed get the help that was needed and finalize probably under one hour read more

I have had a horrible experience with the Lowes Home Improvement appliance store. There is no communication between departments which brings a frustration, one department promises one thing, the other department conflicts with another, there is no central coordination that delivers confidence with the consumer. The orders change, the set up of orders bring confusion to all departments for delivery, installation, inspection and measuring the cabinets for accuracy. All the departments are not centralized. so I receive emails contradicting what department heads are saying. They say they will correct the order process only to find it hasn't been done many times over. I would never buy appliances from Lowes Home Improvement. The rest of the store is fine, but the appliance department is one you want to deal with. read more

My wife and I visited our local Lodi Lowes today (1/20/24) with several projects in mind. We needed to visit several departments (appliances, exterior doors, lighting) and I must commend the numerous customer service representatives who assisted us in each department: Wendy, Aldo, Jimmy, Lance, Zac, and Lance. Each took extra time to assist us, answering our questions as well as providing very helpful information and suggestions for our projects. They represented Lowes very well. I bought a 3500 psi pressure washer from lowes. The pump fell of on the first use. I returned it to this location for a new unit. The box said 3500 PSI. Inside the box was a 3400 PSI unit. The price difference of $300 for this unit and the 3500 unit. I can't return it as I don't have the receipt. Just make sure your actuality opening up your products before you buy them is the moral to the story. Big box stores are great at taking money but not so great at making things right by the little guy. read more

They had a great variety of fresh tropical planta and summer variety botanicals which were colorful and blossoming. The story was very organized and well kept. The cashier Isaac was very helpful assisting me through the checkout. He was very patient, friendly, and helpful with his assistance. Me and my dear grandmother ask where they are, they say look on the 21 aisle where they said to look, so we walk over there and look for it, one of the workers comes up to us and asked what we were looking for, I tell him and he escorts us to a different aisle, like, MAKE UP YOUR MIND!! It appears that customer service has gone the way of the dodo bird. We just purchased a refrigerator from this Lowe's and had it delivered and installed. The installation appeared to go OK. The problem started with an attempt to obtain the Owners Manual for the appliance. All the paperwork that came with the fridge indicated that if you had questions or needed more information to look in the manual (which didn't come with the delivery). A call to the store didn't get very far either. Whomever answered the phone had no idea what I really wanted and just said to go online to get it. I occurs to me that if one purchased this fridge and didn't have internet service there would be no way for them to get a manual. By the way, we were not advised at the time of purchase that no manual was available. Let's face it Lowe's flunked customer service. I cannot believe that there not a printed owners manual for a $1300 appliance. We wont be shopping Lowe's anymore. If you buy here you take your chances on support. read more

The service was fantastic from the moment I got in the door. The front door reception asked what I came for and they directed me to that aisle. I came for wood clamps. There was also an employee there to meet and help me with hardware and had made great suggestions. I left with more than I had originally came for, which was nice since they had a variety of clamps to select from. Checkout was such a positive experience, I had help with my transaction, and they were very accommodating. I felt valued as a customer and, as a plus, I got a value deal. here is the thing with Lowes I didn't like going in because I would always just get lost. However the tide has changed, now you can order your items with your computer and then hand it off to your cellphone to place the order. They even bring the items out to your car in a designated parking spot. So I no longer have a reason to dislike going here because I have the opportunity to get everything myself online where I can find things without having to walk back and forth. Bought a Whirlpool dryer here less than a week ago (on a Saturday). Today is Friday, less than a week of purchase. After taking the day off work, loading dryer into truck, I tried to return dryer for a replacement. Upon speaking to customer service (she was nice), I was informed they do not accept returns of major appliances after 48 hours. No exchange, no partial refund, nothing. This is less than one week! Where do I begin? My Kitchen Aid dishwasher finally kicked the bucket after seventeen years and I went to the Lodi Lowe's to purchase another. I had to pay for their "subcontractor company" to come out and measure for the new dishwasher. The Company, "Premier Logistics" said the dishwasher I wanted would not fit and that I had to order an ADA one that is slightly smaller in width. There were only two companies that Lowe's deals with for this type of DW, LG and Bosch. I ordered the expensive Bosch and it took six months to have it finally delivered to Lowe's. Again Premier Logistics (different person,) came out to install and noticed that the Bosch had a dent in the door! I did not want to wait for another DW for six months! At this point the installer remeasured the opening and said that a regular DW would fit! WTH???? I returned to Lowe's and told them the whole story. Wendy my salesperson was there and was wonderful, management not so much. I returned the Bosch, purchased the Kitchen Aid and the "best they could do" for my wait time was $100.00 off new purchase. It's been one week since this has happened. A week ago there were 65 of Kitchen Aid DW with the model I want in the Lowe's wear house within an hour from Lodi. As of today, no phone call that it has arrived to Lodi or a call from Premier Logistics that they are ready to install. Plus I now have a leak under my sink that I did not have before! In which I now have to hire a plumber to fix. Where's the professionalism here? I live within a mile of this store and will find it very hard to step foot in the Lodi Lowe's again. PS . I was disconnected three times trying to call the appliance department today. Really, really, really terrible customer service! BTW Managers, Disney has great conferences and seminars for customer service individuals and companies outside the Disney Corp. You might look into it. read more

Called to ask why half of my order was missing after I got home only to be given numerous excuses then the manager of that department hangs up on me. Yet they always ask for five star reviews for doing their job. If I didnt have a giftcard to use I wouldn't have bothered shopping there. Lowe's in Lodi, CA is the worst! Totally lied to and misinformed and conned into a purchase. All a ruse. Purchased a GE profile Refrigerator and expensive microwave a month before Black Friday. $4200 purchase. Was told they would reimburse the difference in price when it dropped. Salesperson told me he would personally monitor prices. Was big lie.​ Conned to buy from them instead of waiting to purchase at cheaper price. Cancelled microwave since could not even schedule a delivery. Installation company picked the dates for you. Told me to take it or computer would pick another date for me. Gotta be kidding. For a $250 installation fee? Refrigerator is now $400 cheaper at Home Depot. Several calls, half hour on holds, and visits to the store later, I found out this price match applies before purchase not after or if you purchase with Lowe's credit card. Was blatantly lied to by the salesperson. Why? Because I was asking about upcoming holiday sales. So he told me what I wanted to hear so he could get his commission. After escalating this to management and over an hour on the phone, I was reimbursed $200 since the price dropped at Lowe's. Never again. Will take my business elsewhere. read more

We bought a roof through Lowe's, the Lodi California store. We paid 50% through a Lowe's credit card that we opened for this specific purpose, and 50% with a personal check ($18,500). We cancelled the order within 24 hours. No goods or services were ever received and Lowe's advised that we would have a refund within three business days. It was two weeks' time before our credit card refund was processed. It took us over three weeks of us begging and pleading with the corporate office to finally get a refund check. We had to involve the media, the FTC, Attorney General, and local DA before we were even given a timeline for our refund. Christopher at the corporate office talked down to me and was demeaning to the point that I thought he was being sexist, but after he spoke with my fiance as well I realized that he is just not someone anyone should ever have to deal with, regardless of gender. He should not be a customer-facing person. During a pandemic and the Christmas holiday, Lowe's held $18,500 of our money hostage for over three weeks. By the time we received a check, again, over three weeks later, we found that Lowe's spelled my name incorrectly, used the wrong address, and included a release of liability because they clearly know that they are in the wrong. We signed the release of liability under duress because we are in need of the funds. During this entire process, we never once heard from the store manager, Luciano Yanez. I will never give Lowe's a dime of my money again, and strongly urge anyone considering them for any purchase to research the company thoroughly and take your business to a more ethical establishment. read more

This review is specifically for the lowes carpet install that was done on my parents house 3 years ago. Within 1 year some a portion of the carpet was popping up. 2 years carpet was getting folds and popping up in more rooms. Over 3 years into it every room in my parents house has carpet popping up and having rolls in it. It looks and feels horrible. My parents never walk with shoes on the carpet and the carpet is kept clean. Hubby and I ran into the store for a few things on a slow midday shopping trip. Needed to have some paint mixed, and grab a few things. Here is why I'm giving it three stars. On a good note, they had the cleaning solution we needed. The employee in the paint department was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful. He shared his tips on cabinet painting, and helped us feel better about our project endeavor. The self check out didn't want to scan our can of paint, so we had the sweet lady at self check out ring us up. She was very sweet and very pleasant. Here's what brought today's rating down. After approaching the paint desk and pressing the help button several times, no one came. We looked around for an employee and found none. We press the button a few more times, but never heard anything over the intercom and no light lit up. Several minutes later the paint employee came walking down an aisle and was scanning something on the shelf when my husband approached him and asked for help at the counter. He said the "help" paging button was broken. The store might want to get that fixed. This was the real kicker. After checking-out... my husband and I were walking out through the automatic double doors, a younger male employee was walking in through the exit toward us. Not only was his head down in his cell phone, not looking up to see us walking out, but he walked right through the center of the doorways, through the center of the sallyport, which forced us to move the shopping cart and ourselves way over to the side so he could pass. He didn't look up once, and after a few more steps I turned around and said something to him. He still didn't respond because he was deep in his cell phone. He could've been on a break, on his lunch, but either way we've experienced far too many employees who have no clue how to step aside and pause for a moment while a customer walks by. read more

These 5 stars are for a fantastic man I met in the tool section today by the name of Diaab. (Hope I'm spelling it right) I went in with my two young daughters (3 & 6) looking for a hammer drill. While I am familiar with the tool area, I had a question regarding the bits for this new tool and I ran into Diaab. Not only did he guide me to the right bits to use, he asked me about my project (building a fence over concrete) and actually gave me start to finish tips on every part of the process and was very knowledgeable! He took the time to help me and was very patient while my daughters complained about one another I always have a good experience with customer service here, but Diaab really went above and beyond. So if you're at Lowe's and need help in tools, definitely look for him! read more

Just moved to lodi, so I've been coming here a few times a day. I found the ladies who work in the remodeling section, the awesome lady in appliances (with Disney tattoos) the lady in paint, and a younger gentleman in the plants are exceptional. They go above and beyond! There have had two people that work there who leave a lot to be desired.. one in self checkout and one in the screw and nail section. Ugh! I come in with an idea and that's all... I walk out with plants, had next day delivery for a fridge, was given a sample to take home and bring back of granite countertops, parts to fix irrigation and paint samples ( she sure saved me money, I was going to buy a gallon and she take it home and check with your lighting ) I will always come back to this store. Maybe the worst hardware store I have ever been inside. Please skip at all cost and as I pointed out to the Store Manager the reason they are getting beat by Home Depot. In the section where they sold tools a half dozen customers walked around and no help could be found. I found three Lowe's employees who were very busy chatting among themselves and pretended I was not there. Sorry to have bothered them. They tried directing me to what I wanted but too lazy to walk over and help. They promised to send someone over. No one shows up finally find a manager who gets a guy to help. No expertise and guided me to the wrong product that I returned. These guys are asleep with little interest and lazy. I waited by the saws in the Lumber department, waiting for someone to either saw some lumber for me or to call someone to the saws to saw lumber for me. After some time I went hunting for someone to either do the cutting for me or to call someone to the area to help. I found a guy in another department who said he would have someone called to the area. I never heard a page while returning to the lumber department but I waited there in case someone came. After waiting some time I went looking for another employee to either come and cut the lumber or to call someone to do so. The person I found seemed very irritated that I would ask them for help. He was kind of nasty to me but I believe that he called for help as I hear a page over the public address system. After waiting for several more minutes I called the store with my cell phone and waited to speak to Customer Service. I explained the situation and asked if there was something I could do to get someone to help me in the Lumber department. The Customer Service person told me that she would have someone come to help me. I waited again for several minutes, then called Customer Service again. A gentleman answered and said that he would call someone to go and help. I asked him if he would follow up to make sure someone responded. Before he could answer a gentleman approached and offered to help with the task. I waited for over 40 minutes for someone to at least acknowledge that I was there waiting and assure them that I would be helped as soon as possible. I drove to the Lodi store because they showed having inventory of the item I wanted to buy while my local Elk Grove store did not. This is not the level of service I expect from Lowes. read more

Today was the final disappointing experience for me with Lowes. I've been a loyal and continuing customer since they opened. I have been disappointed in the service and lack of product inventory for some time. I'm less than a 1/2 mile from the store which makes it convenient for the property management I do. I stopped shopping there after continuing having problems in the window coverings section. Waiting over 30 mins to find a qualified individual to operate the blind cutter in ridiculous. I started driving past Lowes across town to home depot where they have what I need and no b.s. . Well today I thought I'll try my luck again and went to Lowes. I grabbed a cart and picked out my led lights for the above cabinets and some wood trim. I needed some window blinds and some veins cut to size for five windows. Thought I was in luck to see to employees at that area. I asked about getting my products cut and was informed oh the cutter machine was down. WTH. What's more frustrating is that it's been down for a few days and they didn't know when it was going to be fixed. I was told I could try back tomorrow, ya right! I left my cart where is was and left.
