We love this store. We have been coming to this Lowe's over the one in Tyler since we moved here last year -- and we live south of Tyler! Why? The staff at this store is always pro-active --they ask us if we need any help, or when we ask for help they actually come with us to make sure we find what you need. They seem to love their jobs and it shows. We have never seen an employee just standing around looking bored or like they don't really want to help the customers -- they keep busy doing something to help the store look well stocked, clean, and organized. They have a great return policy and never had an issue. Well stocked and very clean. They need more employees on the floor. We couldn't find anyone anywhere when we needed assistance but we found what we needed in the end. They stay pretty busy especially on weekends. It's a big box store so expect the usual. They support local area by posting school signs, car shows etc. read more

I've shopped the Lindale, TX. Lowes store for 20+ years. The store is always well stocked and clean. I don't do a lot of returns but have never had a problem when I did. Staff has been helpful and pleasant. I'm lucky to have this store so close to where I live. read more

Nothing special compared to that of any other Lowe's location. The employees here aren't quick to help you or jump to attention unlike some of those I've seen in other states. There are some items that have good sales but aren't openly advertised, so you have to search around for them a bit. They've got everything you'd need and we usually find exactly what we are looking for here at a decent price. The store is clean, but walking around, there is a lot of equipment laying around so be careful and watch out for that. (I.e. palette jacks, palettes, large carts, and step ladders!) read more

Today at 1:02pm i was making purchase at the Lowe's in Lindale and had the a chance to meet the most unfriendly, actually rude check out associate. I walked away from my transaction shaking my head. Was it me? Only when I heard the customer behind me walking out the door to the parking lot stating how rude the cashier was. So it was her! She did not look at you as a customer much less did she say a single word during the transaction. The customer behind me ask for her help since she was visually impaired and was completely ignored. She had to make her request for a bag for the items purchased more than once. She even told the cashier she had bad vision and still she had to get her own bag for the items she had just purchased. The cashiers name was Alyssa. She also did not once say a word or even look at her. My guess is either she has earbuds on and can't hear the customers or she just doesn't care. Either was this equals to a bad customer experience. As someone who deals with the public daily I would suggest a retrain of this employee or pull her off the floor so she does not have the "help" customers. read more

If I were able to give them a -0 that would be their score. We purchased a Generac Generator from Lowe's months ago with the promise it would be hooked up within three weeks. Well, once you purchase the generator you can never reach the salesman again. I believe our salesman was Mr. Crockrell? They give you this wonderful Customer Service number to help you with anything about the generator. LOL their right hand does not know what the left is doing. The managers at the Lowe's store will not talk to you! So, about $6500. ++ for the Generator, $2500. +++ for the 250 gallon tank, gas for the tank, etc. Then you cancel appointments to be here to have this and that installed and they do not show up. They don't even call! I would be sure to purchase one of their GENERATORS. Let me know how that works out for you. Oh, if they promise you a free whatever for buying their generator - be sure and let me know how that works out for you. I rate Lowe' right down there with a snake in the grass. read more

Do not buy your windows here!! paid $20k for all new windows and glass doors... waited 2mo for the windows to arrive, then had to wait another month for an installation date. They arrived and left my large front room picture window at the store, and brought a second picture window shattered. They installed the shattered window with shards of glass hanging off the frame on the inside my home. It has been 3 weeks and I can't get ANYONE to give me an answer on when the window left at the store will get installed. The installer will not return my calls, will not schedule or answer Lowes' calls. Lowes install keeps telling me "we will escalate this but you'll have to wait 2 more business days before you can expect a response". I'm out 20k for window and 4mo Later the most important window is missing and I have had to take up a very dangerous window in my living room to try and help my kids from getting named by shards of glass. Additionally 2 other windows were installed with damages to the frames. Very poor customer service!! read more

Delivery dept employee is rude. They use a 3rd party delivery company and take no responsibility for anything those people do. They finally called 2 hrs after the delivery window they gave me expired, and said they couldnt make it that day. I missed an entire day of work. I absolutely love the commitment to customer service at this particular Lowes store. I recently did a huge project requiring specific hardware, tools, stain, lumber, cable, concrete, and barrel planters. Everyone from each department (especially the paint dept, lumber, and cashier) were incredibly helpful and did not seem bothered by any of my questions. Purchased a plant on Lowe's credit card. Would not take it back without receipt. They have the computer portal for Lowe's credit card but advised receipt required. The plant was still in container with scan bar price tag. I left the plant there because it wasn't going to go back home to print out receipt. Poor policy but everyone has policies and procedures. I might pull up every plant from ground that I purchased and print out all receipts and take them back or I may just drive more distance to Home Depot. read more

In January 2021, my mother paid Lowe's for installation and Hardie plank/trim. At this time, the home is not complete. Yet, the problem has been the contractor's employee who stole plank/trim from the home, returned it to Lowe's for at least $250 Lowe's store credit card (with no receipt) and despite being told that he would be charged for the theft, the employee came back to her home 2 more times to work. Although the Lowe's employees have said how they will handle the situation, it has been disappointing that these contractors are not being held responsible. Furthermore, because they did not cover their work prior to the freeze, my mother now has plumbing problems. The way people take advantage of senior citizens is becoming outlandish. What has happened to moral and ethics? What has happened to being proud of your work and not taking advantage of the less fortunate? What has happened to standing by the name of your business. Went to buy Washer and Dryer. $1900.00 Went to use my Military discount. Told I could not because it was on sale. Red Tag . I explained all your washer and dryers were red tag . They said sorry, thats the way Corporate wanted it. So my Military discount is no good. Went to Home depot and they said no problem if the washer or dryer is on sale we honor our Military. Have do a lot of business with Lowes as a consumer and when I owned my own business. I will never darken there doors again. A really upset veteran. read more

Terrible customer service. I bought a refrigerator last week and was scheduled for delivery two days later when they called to tell me their salesman sold me a refrigerator they didn't have. I was told it would be delivered the following Monday, today, but it will not be. We had to contact the store ourselves for them to tell us it will be delivered tomorrow after it was guaranteed for today. While I understand it's not the end of the world it is an inconvenience with four children to not have a refrigerator. I will make the trip to Tyler from now on and shop at Home Depot. read more

Extremely friendly store with service oriented people! I have bought all my appliances at Lowe's from different markets over the years. The Lindale store gave me the best experience with their knowledge and service! I recently bought material to finish my shop on the inside. The Pro-service and Service Manager people were great. They walked me through my project list and asked great questions. The delivery people were awesome also, I have absolutely no complaints. I am planning the next phase of expanding a home business and have been using their website to work through the list of material and stay on budget I am glad I live close to the Lindale Lowe's! read more

Not that it will make much difference, but I had a terrible experience at Lowe's today. There was an employee suiting by the door for pick-ups. He never looked up or spoke, unlike the greeter at Walmart. I explained I needed some larger can lights than were in the first section. I asked for help. He just pointed to lighting. I still couldn't find what I needed. I went back and explained that I needed help. He just shrugged. Finally, I left after expressing my discouragement. No response. Purchased Kitchenaid kitchen appliances from Lowe's three years ago. Also purchased an extended warranty for all the appliances we purchased. Have found out the hard way the extended warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on. Our microwave stopped working over two months ago. Lowe's warranty folks sent a local appliance repairman out twice early in the process. He was unable to repair the microwave. Couldn't have said it better. We are regular customers at the Lindale TX store but this was an exceptional experience. Extremely busy day and I needed help so I tracked down an employee who was not in his regular area and asked for help. He said sure I can help you. He took me right to where I needed him and because the box was so heavy and large he needed help. He waved down his partner and they proceeded to get the job done perfectly and loaded in the car. " Way to go Stan and Dylan!". That's what I call devoted. I also was impressed with the young clerk on the register and her supervisor for their knowledge and quick action. If I wasn't so old I would have gone and filled out a job application. I just moved from Tyler Texas, and the Lowe's there pales in comparison to the one in Lindale. Hands-down it is the best home improvement store around for many miles. It is spotless, it is massive, and all of the employees are very friendly and courteous. I would drive upwards of 50 or more miles just to come here. read more
