After being snubbed by Don's Appliances in Tyler, TX, I called Jordan's in Ben Wheeler and asked if they had a Maytag dishwasher in white with a food grinder. Mike told me he has one. I drove over and 30 minutes later I was on the way home with what is likely the last top of the line Maytag dishwasher in white in the whole US. Thanks, Jordan's!!! read more

Based on some more recent visits, I'm going to raise my review to 4 stars. The breakfasts were good homestyle meals. I did shy away from biscuits and gravy due to an earlier experience but all in all it's good food. read more

This review rating is for the Cafe. It's delicious! Quality! Great portions! Friendly cook lady! Now, if the guy up front at the register wasn't so dang grumpy (every single time I go in there....), that place might have a booming business! Somebody help this man! He just needs a friendly person running the front desk and he can stay behind the scenes or something. He just seems like he doesn't wanna be there and it shows... read more

History

Established in 1961.

Established in 1961 by Cranfill and Frances Jordan, we started as a small-town grocery, cafe and hardware store. Business was good and we moved into a new, larger building in 1963. Jordan's expanded into appliances and electronics in 1964, setting the course for future growth. In 1994 we once again needed more space, and moved to a new, even larger building on State Hwy 64 between Tyler and Canton. We now provide appliances and video to the East Texas area, serving a 60 mile radiius around Edom, Texas.
