Went in to buy a specific microwave shown on their website. I noted it listed the location as aisle 866 which doesn't exist. I went in anyway as two were listed in stock. Turns out that they had none in stock. Pointed out the errors on the website to a clerk but as of now I the same incorrect information has not been corrected. They offered to order one but informed them I would buy it elsewhere. Went home and ordered the same item off of Amazon for a few dollars more but at least I didn't waste my time. I had previously posted an excellent review regarding Lowes, however that was in another town and state. I have never been disrespected by installers than I have this time. They made no attempt to wipe their shoes or better yet to cover them, as you can see by the pictures they made a mess of my kitchen. I had a new refrigerator delivered a few weeks back and when we removed the plastic there was a huge gouge by the water dispenser. They brought a new one today and asked if I just wanted the door replaced. The originally installers told me that couldn't be done because it's where the water comes in. So I said no, which pissed them off and as they were bringing in the new refrigerator they knocked it against the door causing a dent and a scratch. They would not give me my old one back (I wanted it because it was cold) they refused. I called Lowe's and was told they were independent contractors and there was nothing they could do. It seems that no one will take responsibility for anything. I will not be using Lowes in Las Cruces again. My cabinets and countertops will be ordered elsewhere. I decided to save the forests this year so I went online and found a nice 7.5-ft, Norway Spruce, Pre-Lit Christmas Tree from Lowe's. I ordered it, paid for it, and shortly thereafter received a confirmation email also stating that I would be notified when it was ready for pickup. A few hours later, I received the email stating it was ready for pickup. It was late in the day so I decided to wait until the following morning. I arrived shortly after 10am and went directly to the pickup counter. The employee who waited on me was efficient and courteous. I showed him the email confirmation and the order number which he double checked on his computer. He then asked me for identification which I supplied, and finally I had to sign the electronic signature pad to receive my purchase. After finishing with the "paperwork", he said he'd be right back with my tree. A few minutes passed and he returned with my tree - in a sizable box, (but on a trolly carrier, TG). He handed me my receipt, wished me a great day, and I wheeled it out to my 4-Runner where it fit nicely with one of the seats down. I was very pleased with the service I received and how smooth the entire purchasing process went. I'm very happy with the quality of this artificial tree, and the 800 multi-function color changing LED lights. Now I just need to buy some pine scented candles. :) Happy Holidays! read more

We ordered five 4'x4' Jeldwen windows online in mid August. They finally arrived for pickup September 25. We travelled 2 hours to get them from the Las Cruces location. They were brought out to us to load on our trailer UNBOXED, UNWRAPPED, UNPROTECTED. I don't know who to be more furious with - Lowe's or Jeldwen. Whoever unboxed, unwrapped and scraped and roughed up these windows at Lowe's needs to be retrained - or fired. I won't know of they are a value or not until they are installed and I can determine if the tweaks and bends are going to effect the windows negatively. I have had the worst experience at this Lowe's, Mike in appliances is horrible. He's a racist pig. He yelled at me another customer had to come to my defense and say you're completely wrong and out of line. They couldn't get the delivery date right for the delivery of my dishwasher, then when they finally delivered it, it was broken, so they had to take it back, I ordered the Samsung. It was ordered on September 19, here we are today at October 16 and still going through with Lowe's. Finally, after 2 weeks, a manager calls me and ask my mom and I if we would except an upgrade at no additional cost and they will deliver it in a couple of days, well, my mother agrees to the upgrade I personally did not want to do it, but she was in desperate need of a dishwasher so she trusted the manager of Lowe's, mind you my original order was a Samsung. They delivered us a whirlpool that was completely unsatisfactory and was clearly not an upgrade, so I call them and tell them I want them to pick it up and give me a full refund they couldn't even get that right. They couldn't get a delivery person out to uninstall what I told them that I would have Home Depot uninstall it and if there was any charge, I'd let them know so they can reimburse me, the whole experience was just horrible. Needless to say on this date Monday, October 16 we still don't have our refund. A manager by the name of Denise gets involved. She could barely figure out anything, the first day I dealt with her she was kind and very understanding today I deal with her and she's miserable. Her energy is off. She tells me that she's got six people to interview for a job waiting on her, she was the one who said to come back on this day at 3pm which is the time I got there, so I made the suggestion because her energy was so fucked up that she go and do what she needs to do and call me back and I'll be more than happy to come back and resolve this problem. In addition, I asked her is there any way they can compensate us with a gift card for all of our troubles she said she would ask a manager and let me know when she calls me back. Well she just called me back and said the refund is at the store in cash and I need to bring my ID to come pick it up and as far as any type of compensation, the manager said no, now I have been to that store several times in the last month and they've held up my money cost me time, stressed my mother out and he says no not even a $25 gift card. You're ready to lose a good customer for not wanting to compensate or even apologizing for the cruelty that that store employees have given us. Lowe's is AWFUL. I had a refrigerator delivered on June 9th. The two men who delivered it worked hard to get it into the house, but they put it in my kitchen without giving me the leveling feet. it is on rollers for moving and no way to level it or keep it from rolling into the middle of the kitchen floor everytime I open the frig door. UPDATE: Lowe's website is not secure!!! BEWARE OF FRAUD!!! My Lowe's account was hacked and someone tried to purchase almost $1500 worth of roofing, in a state, not only don't I live in, but I've also never visited. Today on Lowe's Facebook page I asked why no one from the fraud department had called me as promised, they suggested that the hackers may have used, not only my Lowe's account by mistake, but also put in my password-by mistake. What kind of joke do you have running your Facebook account and I was told that the fraud department was backed up when I called the other evening, but that someone would call me within 24 hours. What a joke! No phone call. I called the next day and I got the same answer and again, nothing. I ended up having to cancel my Lowe's credit card. The reason they said they weren't going to follow up on my claim, was that I canceled my account????? What was I supposed to do? After the hackers changed my email address to one they could use freely, I was no long able to sign into my account. When I tried the response I got was, THIS EMAIL IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH AN ACCOUNT!!!! Someone was able to hack into my Lowes account and order 1500 worth of product. I am currently waiting on my dryer that was purchased over 2 weeks ago. They said they would text me when they were ready to deliver it. Since I work, I had to wait longer so they could deliver it on a Saturday. I waited all morning, then I called Lowes and waited over 30 minutes on the phone. When I finally reached someone, they said that it was scheduled for next Tuesday, but they haven't received it yet. I guess this is common for them to switch the ETA and not call the customer. I have a new ETA, but no one knows for sure if it will be there (and this is coming from one of their warehouses). I don't think I'll buy big appliances from them again. This store has the worst customer service i have EVER dealt with. When you call you are put on hold and passed from number to number and NO ONE picks up. I purchased $7000 worth of kitchen appliance from them a year ago. When I went into the store to purchase it I asked be for purchasing if they could deliver. I was told YES. Once the items came in they could not deliver them. I have to find a way to pick them up and unload them at my home. I was NEVER told to inspect them. When I got them unpacked there was issues with the freezer door. And even though I purchased a three year extended warranty I could NOT get them to come repair it. Now a year a year later I am have having issue with the refrigerator and once again NO HELP. They are a sorry place to purchase items from. I am done and will NEVER shop at this store AGAIN. I have come to realization that customer service must be completely alien to Lowe's stores, perhaps it's poor store management or corporate influence, either way this store exceeds their standard of poor customer service. My expectation level may be high, however, I have been on the face of the earth long enough to be able to distinguish unacceptable customer service. I placed an Internet order today, shortly after I placed my order I received a confirmation that my order was ready to be picked up. When I arrived at the designated area, the representative was helping another customer. After waiting for several minutes, I took notice of at least 4 representatives wandering around the Customer Service section, avoiding eye contact with me and pretending to look busy. After several more minutes, the representative who was helping the person in front of me asked a female who was behind her, to help me. This female was more interested in carrying on a conversation with another staff member than responding to the request and when she finally decided to do her job, she began to help another customer who had just walked up to the counter. When other representative informed her that I had been waiting, she ignored her. Outraged, I left the store in disgust. I will never place an Internet order again. read more

Well, we went in and got a dishwasher that we thought would be installed within 3 days of buying. Sadly it's been over a week, different employees tell us different things and just now got a call that it will be another week before installed because they are backed up. Never order Pella windows from Lowe's. Worst experience. It's been two years since ordering 14 windows and a sliding door (all Pella Impervia and all have factory defects and some have shipping damage). DO NOT PURCHASE countertops from Lowes. They use a company from El Paso, 77 Stone, to go into your home to measure, cut & install your countertops. 77 Stone did a TERRIBLE JOB installing the stone. My stove can NOT slide out because it's wedged & Lowes/77Stone refuse to correct the problem. Both companies are WORTHLESS!!! read more

Went to Lowe's for a quick project to help my grandparents out while visiting in New Mexico. I can confirm that Lowe's has the same bad service in all of their stores, no matter the state. Associates literally went the other way when we would walk down the isle. Asked the lumber guy if he could cut a piece of wood, he said no problem and then was no where to be found. Also safety while cutting the wood - no protective goggles or blocked any area off. Would not recommend if you don't need to go here. read more
