The worst experience ever. Jimmy Kelly came because I wanted to have my front entrance door and storm door replaced. I purchased doors that he told me were standard and in stock. They were not. After much miscommunication and misinformation (a new storm door had to be reordered) the installers came to put them in. Two months so far. Both doors were put up when he realized that Jimmy Kelly had ordered the wrong handle for the storm door and it had to be ordered from Pella, Lowe's did not have them. Jimmy Kelly will never communicate with you once the sale is made. So, three months have now passed and no handle for my storm door. I wouldn't recommend using Lowe's for anything and especially Jimmy Kelly.

This is the aisle location that is supposed to have 4x5 copper square.

This store continually has items listed as available "in store" on their website yet it is either not available or the location (Aisle and bin) don't even have a place for the item. Their inability to monitor inventory and maintain accurate website information is horrible. My second complaint is customer service. Good luck trying to find a manager to talk to let alone get an explanation that makes business sense. Attached are photos of what shows online and what the aisle location looks like.

Tried to buy a 4k storage building installed. Employees have no clue how to make it happen. Pathetic service. Home Depot is much better.

I've always received assistance needed. Would rather go to High Point Lowes instead of the one in Lexington.

Literally the only lowes I will ever go too. Amazing customer service, quality products, and maintaining great health and safety standards.

Always poorly understaffed, which makes all of the hard working staff appear,(to everyone waiting in checkout) to appear incompetent.

While waiting for them, Wagner provided a loaner washer with a hole in the discharge hose, which flooded our basement. When our new washer arrived, a pipe was broken during installation, flooding the basement a second time and forcing us to shut off water to the entire house. Then our new dryer required 2-3 hour-long cycles to dry clothes. When we called, we were met with defensiveness and blame, including suggestions that our venting might be the problem. Wagner installed the vent. And the vent WAS the problem. Their hose was cramped/restricted behind the dryer. Once corrected, the dryer worked perfectly. The customer service was worse than the mistakes. We actually drove to the store because of how rude the phone interaction had become. The salesperson was so argumentative that he eventually said, "I guess I'll just stop talking until you tell me it's okay." Later the manager sent photos "for our documentation." I responded with my before photos showing Wagner's original vent installation. He asked if my husband still wanted a call; we scheduled it for the next day. He never called. Mistakes happen. Two floods and a bad vent installation are frustrating, but what earned one star was the defensiveness and lack of basic accountability afterward. I chose a local dealer because I want businesses like Wagner to exist. I hope they improve, because customer service shouldn't feel like a schoolyard fight. Sometimes "We're sorry. Let's get this fixed" is all that's needed.

So, here I am -- back again -- writing another review on Aaron's RTO…read more About five weeks ago, our dryer went out: the switch had gone bad in it. My wife and I called Aaron's to send someone to repair it. We got the runaround for nearly two weeks. We were told that there was only one person who was "stretched thin" because the other guy was on vacation. A week later, they sent a technician out to examine our dryer. He was clueless as to what the problem could be until my wife inquired about the switch. The guy said "that's probably it," and informed my wife that the machine would have to go to GE for servicing, as he had no tools, or knowledge on how to fix it. My wife called me at work and told me the guy said he would be back to get the dryer and leave us a loaner. Noone came. Then, on Friday 08/08/2025, after paying a visit to the store, though there was only "one guy," they him out take our machine in for servicing. They issued us a loaner machine which the guy said was the exact same as the dryer we have. It was not. It WAS a GE, I'll give him that, but looked nothing like our dryer. This machine had only about half the features our dryer had. I asked him how long it would take to get OUR machine back; he said about a week. "You should have it back by Wednesday -- no later than Thursday." That's what HE said. Wednesday came and went, as did Thursday. A few other days, then weeks followed that. Still nothing. We started to call, only to get the runaround -- AGAIN! We were being told various things, the lastest being "let me check on the status of your dryer, then, when I find out, I'll give you a call at the number you call ME from." Nope. Noone has, and the latest was today (08/21/2025). We have never been late with or behind on our payments, so we expected better customer support. But I'm beginning to think that, with Aaron's, anyway, we're just business, not customers or even people. Otherwise, someone would be able to tell us something about our dryer. The set we chose is an excellent one, and certainly cheaper than the ones we research from other RTOs, but the cost of this disregard, overshadows the money we saved had we gone with one of the others. I don't like RTOs, but they DO have an advantage for those who need something immediately, but don't immediately have the money to purchase it right out. And, while we DID save a few dollars at Aaron's, the next time we need to use an RTO, I'll spend the extra money at some other one.
