Now when you go, good luck finding anyone, let alone anyone that will be able to help you. I typically find myself leaving this store very frustrated, and instead relying onto YouTube to find the info I need for what I'm working on. That being said, the store still does carry most anything and every thing you'd need for home projects, so if you know what you need, what you're doing and how to do it, this is a great place to pick up your supplies, just don't go in hoping ti get help

On a recent visit, while buying large sheets of plywood, I was at least able to find someone on the floor, willing to assist me in cutting the material on the panel saw, so I could fit them in my car. However, finding help in this store can be hit or miss, just depending on which department you are in. All in all, it's a decent store, to get what you need, but just beware of quality, and don't go in always expecting to find employees to help you.

1 star I genuinely…read morewant Wagner to succeed as a local business, but our experience was unacceptable. We bought a Speed Queen washer and dryer. While waiting for them, Wagner provided a loaner washer with a hole in the discharge hose, which flooded our basement. When our new washer arrived, a pipe was broken during installation, flooding the basement a second time and forcing us to shut off water to the entire house. Then our new dryer required 2-3 hour-long cycles to dry clothes. When we called, we were met with defensiveness and blame, including suggestions that our venting might be the problem. Wagner installed the vent. And the vent WAS the problem. Their hose was cramped/restricted behind the dryer. Once corrected, the dryer worked perfectly. The customer service was worse than the mistakes. We actually drove to the store because of how rude the phone interaction had become. The salesperson was so argumentative that he eventually said, "I guess I'll just stop talking until you tell me it's okay." Later the manager sent photos "for our documentation." I responded with my before photos showing Wagner's original vent installation. He asked if my husband still wanted a call; we scheduled it for the next day. He never called. Mistakes happen. Two floods and a bad vent installation are frustrating, but what earned one star was the defensiveness and lack of basic accountability afterward. I chose a local dealer because I want businesses like Wagner to exist. I hope they improve, because customer service shouldn't feel like a schoolyard fight. Sometimes "We're sorry. Let's get this fixed" is all that's needed.

I was sort of excited to be back to the Theodore Alexander Outlet.... but since TA has been bought…read moreby a Chinese Investment firm the selection is a disaster. My visit on Saturday November 14, 2020 was a total waste of my time. Eighty percent of the case goods were deeply scratched. Even wooden chairs with upholster were scratched of dinged. Everything was just thrown into the space..... no room to walkabout. The sofas were very lackluster, drab, faded or really way out there fabrics (silver and turquoise leathers). Everything seemed to be damaged showroom samples from "TA Studio" NOT "Theodore Alexander" and not much from the traditional range.... which built the company. I did see a small traditional table but the leather top was delaminating (sorry no thanks). Most of everything else on the floor was mid Century or Contemporary. What shocked me the most was the middle aged saleswoman telling me that "we won't sell the "seconds" from years past..... TA only sells first quality at the Outlet." I'm sure customers who pay the thousands per piece would not be too happy to hear that. There were few occasional contemporary side tables that seemed ok.... but no lamps to speak of.... and a few sad decorative objects. Overall.... very disappointing..... don't waste your time. By the way, the photos of vignettes are NOT the showroom but staged studio shots, not what you will see at the outlet. By the way, I found out Sue Kurtz (former Manager) doesn't work at the outlet anymore. I talked to her on the phone to clarify. Im so glad that I purchased hundreds of beautifully made pieces for myself and clients for 75-90 percent off. Those days have gone. I suggest you go to FurnitureLand South to order for great discounts and 100 percent not damaged pieces.
