ZERO STARS!! literally the WORST customer suppor! I purchased a washer and dryer on 3/17/26. the delivery guy damaged my pipes in my home, was aggressive and the other guy was dragging my $2200 washer & dryer through dog feces, snow and mud in my yard unwrapped!! i spoke to "Corporate" for an HOURS the moment this happened. i had to call a plumber to fix the issue THEY created, it cost me $632!! CRICKETS every single time I call about someone reimbursing me for THEIR damage. I call every day, nobody knows what's going on or has any customer service skills. I called daily for a week for them to then tell me it's a 3rd party issue. second time they're going to deliver- DOT mysteriously takes the truck off the road. they obviously think nobody works. it took 3x for me to RECEIVE my PAID merchandis! I talk to the 3rd party vendor. he seems like he was intelligent and said he'd chargeback my account by 4/1/26 at 5pm if no response from Lowe's. CRICKETS!! i emailed, I called, I emailed, I called. NOBODY WANTS TO FIX THE SITUATION THAT THIS COMPANY CAUSED. Now I received a letter from their employe saying they deny damage. HARASSMENT! why is this person writing me at all?! We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! Needless to say, we have made our LAST purchase at Lowes and I will be sharing this VERY NEGATIVE experience EVERYWHERE I can. read more

Would like to comment on Lowe's consistently great customer service. I never have to seek out someone to help me as am always approached by associates offering assistance. Two employees in Lowe's Halfmoon store were particularly helpful during my most recent visit. Blair in the lighting department and Zara who was exceptionally friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I believe, as most people, that feeling valued as a customer is one of the top reasons for store loyalty. read more

If you're in need of appliances, don't think for a moment the date online for how soon you will receive it is even remotely close! My date online showed within 3 days and the salesperson also said it would be a few days. After checking out, my date ends up being 6 weeks....WEEKS from date of purchase! (And it showed something like 43 of that particular item is in stock..go figure!!) I've been online several times and it still shows someone purchasing those items from Halfmoon would receive them within a few days! I ended up calling the number to inquire about receiving them sooner and now it looks like it's closer to 7 weeks! If you need appliances ASAP, avoid Lowe's!! read more

Just a quick thumbs up recognition for how they are handling the COVID-19 checkout during busy times. It looked like it was going to be a lengthy wait when I saw the long single line queued up at checkout. However, one employee came down the line to request the last four digits of my phone number and then proceeded to scan every item in my basket. There were only two terminals open, but the line moved reasonably fast and when I had my turn at the register the clerk first sanitized the counter and then requested the four digits I had previously provided. My items all appeared on the screen and I inserted my credit card in the card reader. I was approved and finished with the entire checkout process in about 6 minutes. Nice work, Lowes. read more

I ordered 3 window shades. I went to pick them up and was told there were only 2 left in stock. I have 3 windows in the same room so 2 would not work. Whatever happened to good customer service? First of all If there were not 3 available why didnt the website say out of stock ? Was one of the 3 that I ordered sold to another customer ? The rep said well Latham has 7 of them if you want to go there ! No thank you. Good customer service is, " Im so sorry ...Would you like for us to contact the Latham store and have one delivered here for you to pick up ? Or would it be better if we have them send it to your home ? " I have worked in Customer service for many years and that is what our store would have done. Now you have lost a sale and a customer !!! I needed a new water heater. Met an appliance rep who was more interested in changing my credit card to Amex. Was told a local plumbing company would contact me within 48 hours to discuss/install. It's now over 65 hours - 3 phone calls to the store and no one knows anything and yes the sales rep yesterday said they will be in touch later today - nothing. Left a message for front end sales manager - no return call. Getting ready to go to the completion. Beware of the lousy customer service here. read more

I ordered a dishwasher on 5/1. The initial unit was damaged so I was told they would another. The 2nd unit was a completely different brand than what I ordered. I was promised a new unit was being ordered and would be delivered 5/17. I never heard anything so I went to the store on 5/20. There was no record of an order being received and no anticipated delivery date. I have spent over 6 hours on the phone with the store, corporate customer service, and physically been at the store trying to get a refund, and still have no resolution. read more

I purchased a new washer & dryer from Lowe's. It was delivered by a service they use. In the process of installing the washer the drain pipe was broken. I didn't realize it until the guys were gone. The machine was draining & there was water on the floor. Keep in mind the drain line has been there since the 60's! I have been trying to replace the drain line. I have been to the store 3 different times. First time I couldn't get anyone to help me. The 2nd time a young lady helped me & it ended up being not what I needed. I returned that set up & then had a young man helping me. I tried to explain what I needed & he just wasn't getting it. He had several suggestions which I knew weren't going to work. I am a very amateur, aspiring-woodworker getting my garage set up for some beginners woodworking so I went to Lowe's in Halfmoon Friday morning. Overwhelmed by the drill bits selection I must've looked lost because my savior, Lowe's employee Nick, noticed I looked lost and asked if he could help with anything. I explained I am just starting out to get tools i need to build things - I explained the specific projects and Nick hooked me up. He didn't bombard me with things i don't need, he was patient and spent what I want to say was a good 30-45 minutes with me, helping me choose drill bits because i had no clue what to look for. he suggested items and explained the difference between an impact driver and a drill (i had no idea). He didn't talk down to me or make me feel like a "silly woman doing a man's job" kinda way. Nick was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I appreciate his patience and time he spent with me. He kept asking what else could he help me with, until I finally let him go. That's the way I like to feel as a customer walking into a place. Thank you Nick, you're the man! read more

I've generally had good success from Lowe's in stores, but this is the second time I've ordered something that needed delivery, 1st time cabinets shipped to store, 1 of them was dropped on corner and busted up, Lowe's ordered another one and Inspected it before they called me. This time I ordered a 8x10 shed I saw on there website, said it could be delivered by October 13th, so Saturday October 1st I went to halfmoon Lowe's and ordered it to be delivered to my house, on Tuesday Oct 11th I got a message it was being delivered next day, I called the number he left to find out what time because I didn't get home until 2pm, he told me delivery guy would be there about 2pm, I left work early, was home by 12:45, waited till 3:30 and called to find out when he was coming, I was told the delivery guy got done with his other deliveries early so he wouldn't be coming my way!and they would call me back when they would be coming my way again. Not good. I purchased a washer and dryer (LG WM3700 and DLEX3700) with the promise they were stock, but delivery would be delayed three weeks due due COVID and reasons...fine. Day of delivery (three weeks later) I received a call telling me they have the dryer but not the washer. So, I was either lied to or stolen from, or both. When I talked to the manager, he offered a 10% discount and to "look into it", with no firm timing for where my washer wash or when it will be delivered. I took my refund and left. Awful. read more

No customer service in lumber. Waited for 15 minutes for help after they paged for an associate. Even after it started raining and I figured someone would come inside from an unscheduled break, nope. Their were more vendors who were tryng to be helpful, but no one wearing a red vest. Could have driven off in their fork lift with out being noticed. . . Went to Home Depot and was in and out with the lumber in less time than I wasted at the Latham Lowe's. One star for the one associate who was sympathetic, but not able to assist. read more

One of the local home improvement stores. Home improvement stores carry a great many products and do many things. BUT if you are looking for something specific they might not have it (read won't for specific tools and hardware), and all their services (in store and out) are suspect. For this reason I would probably never cross three stars for a home improvement store. I prefer a real hardware store and a real lumber yard even if I have to go to two places sometimes. See also Curtis Lumber at Exit 12 for the best in the area. This particular Lowe's- Good- Clean and good location. open pretty late Bad- Slow checkout at times No self service (Why Lowe's? Why?) I have to Yelp about an employee of yours. I call her my Lowe's Angel Polly. Polly has helped me now with two projects. She helped educate my mother and I on paint for a DIY toy box project. She took the time to explain to us the importance of each step. The end result was a beautiful toy box. We made sure to go back in and show her pictures. Recently she was so patient with me while I was trying to put blinds in my house. She was so willing to help and assured me (since it was my third trip) that we would get it right. She was going to take her lunch and she said have her paged if I had to come back and we would figure it out. She is a true asset to your company. She is patient, kind, knowledgeable in so many areas. I wish there were more people like her!!!! read more

I figured out how Lowes has low prices...they NEVER have any employees in the departments to help you out. Seriously every time I go to this location I spend 10 min trying to find one of the two employees working the floor. Great store with a lot of products but it's unfortunate it's so hard to get any customer service. This is the second time my husband and I have shopped in this store. The first time we came in to buy a grille. Full intention of finding and leaving with a grille. We asked one of the associates for help and he said he didn't work in the department. About 20 minutes later someone with no knowledge at all came over, we told him the one we wanted and he said they were outside and walked away... needless to say we got our grille at Home Depot. THEN last night, we were trying to buy a wood splitter for a Christmas gift. There are a lot of types of wood splitters and wood cutters and I honestly have no idea what the difference is so we were in need of some assistance. There was an associate walking by when my husband politely asked if he could help, the associate without pausing kept walking past him and said he didn't work in the department and would see if he could find someone. We heard a page to an isle we didn't think was ours, no one came so we pushed the assistance button at the desk and someone off the clock came over and turned it off and got someone to help us... he had no clue what he was talking about. He did know where the gloves were! Anyway, my husband and I both work in some form of customer service with the general public and understand the difficulty but this store really needs to step it up. read more

I have been to the Lowes in Clifton Park three times in the last two weeks due to home remodeling projects we have been doing and honestly the most help we have received was from the paint department. Two weeks ago we came in and loaded 304 deck railings with my sister and myself as lowes workers walked past us, ignored us when we asked for help. They stood one aisle over and talked to each other and texted. We did speak with the assistant manager who apologized and said that was not what he stood for. The second time my mom and I came into Lowes was today, we had a return and left the receipt on our table at home. Lowes prides itself on their mylowes card and being able to look items up from that, when I explained the situation to Maureen at customer service I was immediately grated by a roll of the eyes and a sarcastic well how do you want me to look it up without a drivers license. I was confused by that and asked why she couldn't look it up with my phone number as they have every time. She goes and how am I supposed to do that if I don't know who you are? I then repeated it's a mylowes card not a credit card, that was greeted by a huff and puss and how would I know that...I'm not sure but maybe because I specifically stated mylowes card. I am not sure if she was overwhelmed due to lack of staff in the customer service department or what but every time we have had a run in with her it has been less than pleasant. Cody in painting was hands down the most helpful person we have come across. He went above and beyond helping us out with not only mixing our paints but pointing us in the direction of things we needed. Lowes in Clifton Park honestly needs more workers like Cody in paint. He never got frustrated with us and was always more than helpful. read more

He brought fence out that was broken and then got pissed when we asked for a new piece then started stating how he got a good piece arrogantly told me how this would be done his way and I asked him to lose the attitude he lost it on me.
