The joy a shopping with family and being the chauffer for the day. You go where they need to go and just go with the flow. My Dad needed to stop here and make a payment (he's still one of those that needs to make the payment in person instead of online). Pulled in and made our way inside. With this being near the holiday season, it was going to be a busy day. Dad went over to customer service to make his payment while my brother, niece and myself went to go check out the holiday displays and what was on sale. I browsed for a bit and wanted to head on into the store to help find the items my Dad was here to purchase. We all headed deep into the aisles and like any other trip to a hardware store, you have to backtrack because everything is so spread out. Those items are place in areas the store believes them to be of liked items, not always in the best place. I ended up wandering off by myself because I find hardware store mind numbing if I am not in here for a reason. I wandered around and found myself in front of the paint counter where I ended up grabbing one of there miniature buckets. True story, the only thing in here that I purchased. I didn't need it, I wanted it. I headed to the line, which was a bit crazy. Standing in line, which had started to weave its way out into the aisle, there were at least three employees standing around the self checkouts. Seeing the line getting longer, of course they opened up more...when I was next in line and everyone behind me had first dibs on them. Once my tiny bucket was paid for, I was out the door faster than I could explain. read more

We needed a double oven, and knew the make and model number and went to the store to order(could have stayed home ordered it online and got free delivery). After the clerk finished waiting on a customer and saw us waiting there no acknowledgment. We was waiting for her to either address us to come over or ask if we needed assistance but all we got rather loudly is her contacting someone to see if she could leave at four. It was hours before noon. Finally when we got assistance and she looked up the oven that we wanted in black, she said it doesn't come in that. After a few minutes she did find it and we ordered it. We knew it came in black. Before ordering it we ask her for information on the oven and she was like a deer in headlights and knew nothing. I am not saying she should know everything on every oven but a little information would have been maybe helpful. After placing an order, over $3000 order, all we got was a sale receipt with the price we paid. No breakdown on what we order, delivery date, no model or written description of the order. We did get a check list saying what to do before delivery but we got no instructions on when or how we will know the delivery time. We thought we maybe get an email on the order, since we ordered a few things at Lowe's before but received none. So all we got is cash register tape with no information on it. After the clerk finished with us there a gentleman waiting, she knew him and he got address and waited on right away. We found out that a competitor had free delivery, lower price, received instructions and paperwork on our oven order. Yes, we cancelled the order at Lowe'. We won't be ordering any appliances or going to Lowe's anytime soon. read more

Do not shop at Lowe's. I purchased a washer and dryer from this dump. The dryer turned on but did not make any heat. I called the store and found out that Lowe's subs out there appliances to a delivery company. I was told the delivery company was contacted. I asked for a timeline for the replacement. Crickets. I asked for the phone number for the delivery company. the response was we cannot call them. Only email. I spent over 1,900.00 on these appliances. My wife bought a desk here. Unfortunately it was broken. We decided to return it because it wasn't functional as we had to put it together. I was worried about not being able to return it. I looked at the website and it said we could. We got to the store 30 minutes before they closed, and they helped us get it out of the car and gave us a full refund. Suffices to say don't worry about them giving you an attitude or the rundown here. They are all very helpful and super appreciative of their customers. I've spent a couple thousand dollars in just over a week I bought a dryer that they couldn't deliver until the following week they hooked it up well to the gas not even to the vent and my house filled with gas so they couldn't come out for 2 days and the guy said they hooked it up with the the wrong connector went to return something that I bought only 3 days ago and it was 398 had the receipt and they wouldn't return it they said I used it and it was clearly not used so the girl at the desk started laughing and stickering I talk to a manager ​ he didn't even care he blew me off oh the girls not working by the way her name is Alyssa she works mostly at the return desk I also did a chat on the website they ended up sending me a phone number to call when I called I talked to that guy and he really just blew me off too so I will no longer be shopping at Lowe's in Greensburg I think I'll go across the street to Home Depot you don't treat your customers like crap no matter how much they spend at your store . Terrible customer service. Purchased a brand new "high end" refrigerator the end of April. Couldn't get it delivered until the end of May. By the end of June, already had a service call for the board that controls all of the lights in it. Now we have two service calls scheduled for the end of next week because it won't make ice or hold a safe temperature in the fridge. Lowes just wants to sell us a new one since we didn't buy their extended warranty and no one seems to care they they sold us a refrigerator that we have proven was manufactured and in their possession since 2017. We are losing all of the food in our fridge and Whirlpool won't take it back until the third service call (hopefully the end of next week). What a mess! read more

I was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. 30 minutes passes I get a phone call they do not have it in stock. Order was then cancelled. I found a different dishwasher they said they had in stock. I called the store and was told they had 2 so I ordered it last evening. Waiting all morning again for pick up confirmation. I just called the store they said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Then I get another call they do not have this one in stock either. They have no idea what they have or don't have. I would not go back. read more

He looked at my text from my daughter and said: follow me and I will get these items for you. He found the items quickly and saved me much time hunting for them. Later, I asked Jessica where I could find a dust pan and she took looked up the aisle for me. All in all, great customer service. If you are a truck driver looking for employment, Lowe's should be your absolute last choice. After contacting 3 people to reschedule a delivery the driver showed up anyway. After contacting 5 people to cancel a delivery, they scheduled the driver anyway. The poor drivers end up driving from house to house only to be greeted by infuriated customers. If you are considering purchasing an appliance from Lowe's I highly recommend you reconsider. They will not allow you to pick up your own purchases and the timeframe they give you is plus or minus 5 hours. Not only that Lowe's charges your card as soon as the product is on the truck whether it is delivered or not. My delivery was to come between 12p-4p they arrived at 9 o'clock at night, I was not home. I tried to reschedule, and they showed up anyway. They rescheduled for Monday then told me Monday they're coming Tuesday. I canceled the order and they called me to tell me their delivering it. I spoke with 5 people and received no resolution to my problem. read more

I purchased all of my brand new appliances with Lowe's of Greensburg. If you are in store, and buying appliances, they will say whatever it takes to close the sale. In my case, I received my appliances as a Christmas present for a home i have not moved into yet. Not only did Lowe's of Greensburg lie to me about the delivery date, but they dismissed me and placed me on hold when i called, hung up on me 4 times, when i asked to speak with a manager they placed me on hold and hung up on me for the 5th time. So i bought all brand new appliances, and because it was a new home not moved into, the appliances sat until i had propane and everything else hooked up. So i finally get everything hooked up, not moved in to the brand new home still, but thought i would test the stove and turn it on. Well, error codes keep coming up, and the stove won't work. So can't call Lowe's, they won't answer. They have a 48 hour (which the stove wasn't even delivered in that time) return policy. So they send me to the stove "MIDEA" people to schedule an appointment to "fix" (a brand new stove which i just tried to start, and has never been used) that appointment takes another couple of months & jumping through a million hoops to schedule. After waiting for months (1st part shipped was damaged and had to be returned) They then schedule to bring new parts, which at that point they don't even know what they are replacing. But he rips the brand new stove apart while scratching my brand new wood floor, and says: "can't fix it, it's not the part he has, it's the main circuit board". Have to order one which of course will take another few months. Now i have already paid on this stove since January, and have never used it. Now i am ready to move to my house, and i have a brand new non working stove that i bought at Greensburg, the ones who kept hanging up on me. I want a brand new stove like i purchased. Not a refurbished stove that they have no idea what is wrong with it. So Greensburg Lowe's who sold me it and hung up on me, or put me on hold for 45 minutes every-time i called; totaling 15 times. Finally, after refusing to connect me with management, the nasty employee on the phone says "Monroeville delivered it, you have to call them". But... i purchased it and set up credit in Greensburg, why do I have to deal with Monroeville now? (Silence, then hung up on). So, i call Monroeville, explain this disastrous train wreck of an experience with them, ask for management, who they said, "they will call you back". And here i am today paying credit on brand new appliances with Lowe's of Greensburg, who treated me like shit, and ready to move into my brand new house; with brand new appliances that do not and never did work, and i have never used them at all. But i cannot even speak to any of the individuals i purchased the appliances from, and i am on hold for a "circuit board" from Midea, who doesn't even know if that is the problem, and Lowe's refuses to speak with me. Folks! I recommend that you NEVER purchase your appliances, or anything else ever from Lowe's! They DO NOT value their customers, they are strictly after sales and nothing more. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE if you have a problem with your purchase, you are 100% on tour own. read more

My brother purchased new washer/dryer in Oct 2021. Day of delivery he was told his units were sold to another party and would have to wait for replacement after Thanksgiving. Delivery people damaged both units and gouged out his walls. He has been given the run around for 3mths now. Sent pics and estimates as requested to customer service. Paid $1600 for the units only to have them and his home damaged and no assistance from customer service. Stopped here today (Sunday afternoon) to pick up a faucet that I researched online. Found the faucet and went to checkout. The place was packed on a Sunday afternoon and only 1 checkout register was open! All of the self-checkout registers had their red lights flashing for assistance. Waited 1/2 hour then a manager finally shows up with a portable card reader to "save the day". I vented at him about the poor management in the store that allows such lines to form without any action. He told me he was a manager so I again voiced my opinion that he was not doing a very good job. On top of it all, he pulled me out of line to check me out with his portable machine which then did not function. After all of the waiting and BS I sat my item on the floor, told him I would buy it online, and left the store. During my wait time at least 10 employees went walking by and apologized that they could not help. His remark to me was "well if you know anyone who wants to work here let me know". I told him since he was a manager then solve the problem. Every manager in that store should have been manning a register. Not rocket science. Lowes, train your employees to service customers. If help is needed at checkout then send your employees there. I went across the street to Home Depot, bought a faucet, and checked out with no problem. All self-checkout lines function and registers are manned. Seems they don't have a problem finding employees. My first stop from now on will be HDepot. read more

While searching for new patio furniture and a shed, and after exhausting some other options, my husband and I stopped at Lowe's. We were hesitant, since we saw the exact same shed for a Few Hundred Dollars cheaper at Home Depot. As noted in a previous review, the supposedly in-stock shed at Home Depot was not available, so we stopped here. We checked out the sheds they had outside, but nothing of interest and/or in our budget, so we decided to check out the patio furniture. We went in through the garden center - there was a middle aged lady at the cash register on her cell phone. We were obviously not greeted. We walked past her, but then I stopped and walked back, said hello, and asked her where to look. She flippantly pointed toward the store. Gee thanks. We found the biggest selection of patio furniture here, over Big Lots, Wal-mart, and Home Depot - all which had next to nothing. I mean, because it's July and summer is half over and it's retail, so time for the holidays! Big Lots actually had Halloween crap out. But I digress... That is reason #1 of 2 for the three star review. Otherwise, this would be a two star. We found two sets we liked, and asked an employee who was walking through for some assistance, since we had questions. She said that she was helping another couple, but would be back for us. We browsed and waited about 5 minutes. The lady comes back through and says something to the effect of "okay, I'm here"....but on her way over to us, she is stopped by another couple waiting around. Ugh. My opinion is that she should have told that other couple that we were waiting, but hey, what the heck do I know. At this point, we actively seek out another employee, who comes to assist us. We ask a few questions about both sets. Plus, I wanted to know if you needed to purchase the entire set, since we didn't think we needed six chairs. He informs us that we can purchase everything separately: meaning, the table and four chairs instead of six. And no, it is not any more money. Sold! We go with the cheaper one because, well, we're cheap. He asks if he can load it up for us and we say sure. He quickly gets all of the stuff on a flat cart for us, while we went to look at some other items. He was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable...Reason #2 for the three stars. We load up our things and head to the register, where the cashier is yet again (or still?) on her phone. She never greeted us, never thanked us, nothing. I handed her a 10% off coupon that I had, never says a word to me. Never asked if we needed help loading the stuff. On a side note, I have no idea if there is a Poke Stop nearby...I am 36 years old. My 11-year-old niece attempted to explain this to me, but to no avail. I'm not much of a techie. read more

In my area I have two choices: Home Depot or Lowe's. My choice recently has been that if I want great customer service, I go to Home Depot. If I want a good product selection, I go to Lowe's. This view is supported by my most recent experience at Lowe's: Eight days ago I purchased a microwave oven and an installation package worth $99. It was fine that they didn't have the oven in stock, but upon delivery to the store (Wednesday, they said), they were supposed to call me to set up the installation date. When I got no word from them by the end of Thursday, I gave them a call. Apparently, someone was late in submitting my order to the warehouse, so my microwave was not yet at the store. They told me to allow two more business days, so someone would call me on Friday or Monday to set up delivery. That hasn't happened. So, I called my local store today and was passed from person to person to person to person for 9 minutes--each person would answer with "how may I direct your call?" and I finally gave up when no one from "Appliances" was answering the phone. Listen, the people who work at Lowe's are very nice. It's just that there are not enough of them to actually help you. read more

Generally speaking Lowes is a basic big box retailer. One thing I can say is they correct any issues. Finding help is not hard. They ten to have employees all over. Most will walk you to the items you are looking for. Unlike the Home Depot here in greensburg. Also we had a delivery issue with washer and dryer we bought. Their fault completely and they not only fixed the issue but compensated us also. We did not even ask for that. Then we had lumber delivered and it was all wrong (I know these are two bad examples) they corrected the wrong lumber and immediately delivered correct order. And let us have the incorrect order as well ( we have that lumber to our neighbor) We always go back. Easier store to find items in than other home improvement stores. They work to fix the problems. We have had many positive experiences as well. The lawn and garden selection is far superior as well. Boarding on many nurseries we have been too. read more

Only 50% of people were wearing a mask. Those without masks would come right up and stand beside you in the Aisle.. no attempt to distance. If the staff had a mask on, it was below their nose. If you are in a high risk group, stay away for your own safety. read more

Finding any real help will only lead you to aisle after aisle of employees who claim that it isn't their department and can't really help you. I've special ordered things and waited weeks for it to arrive only to find out they screwed the order up somehow and it will be another few weeks. That's when I go down the road a little further to the other home improvement store where it is a tiny smidgen better than this place. read more

terrible service!! i took my lawn mower brand new to be checked, it is still under warranty and they charge me $90 just to check it. when i asked explain me the charges they said $59 to look at it, $6 for oil (add on), and $20 for transportation plus taxes. they are thief! if i have anything to fix i go to homedepot!!! read more

Lowe's is always a good place to come if you need something for your home. They have everything, and honestly I like the environment of this place more than Home Depot. Not to mention, they have a big selection of fun Christmas stuff. My family spent about 2 hours here just looking at all of the great home appliances and the Christmas stuff. Terrible customer service. Busy ona Saturday but only 2 check-outs open no self serve. Walked to the front of a long line and asked them to open up other registers took them 5 minutes to do a code 3 to get some extra help. Then they were so concerned about customer service they took the people from the back of the line not the front of the line. Called the store manager name Bill, he did not care. My wife and I went to LOWES for flooring and a refrigerator. We were greeted as soon as we arrived in the appliance area of the store. We were told to take our time by a man maybe in his 40's the name Derek sticks in my mind, but uncertain . Great, no one likes to be followed around while shopping, I may put a fridge on my back and hobble out with my cane in hand.. lol So we found one we liked, looked for the man, No where to be found!! So there was a slender build older woman waiting on a elderly couple, so I told my wife to wait behind the couple being rung out.. waited 15 minutes, UGHHH!! They changed their mind! The woman then follows the couple back to the department. I told my wife " Don't lose her!! We will lose our place in line! Meanwhile, I'm handicapped, so I'm in one of those scooters that the fat people ride in that aren't really handicapped, just really, really fat! I've been deprived of a scooter before, but I really am handicapped. So I start buzzing around looking for Derek, no where to be found. So I go over to a gentlemen who is in plain sight of all of the goings on in the adjoining department who is looking at me like" oh shit he is going to put me to work, he's handicapped!" Lol I ask him where all the help is because by now this slender cashier has given my wife the slip and there is no one around but crickets and Owls.. and of course the sound of me driving backwards back and forth through the department so the cart will make that annoying beep! Beep! Beep! Sound to try and get someone's attention. So the very effeminate gentleman from the adjoining department comes over in a huff and says " didn't you ring the bell!!?" What freaking bell is he talking about? There is a small piece of metal stripping that is on the pole right behind his register.about 1 inch wide. It houses the wiring and apparently a small bell of sorts that alerts them when help is needed. The stripping was covered with small little paper, Little notes to remind the cashier... no bright sign, nothing. So the man pushes it and 5 minutes later we then purchase our refrigerator from that slender woman who had gone on break but rushed in and helped us... still no Derek, Jeesh! read more
