Opened a credit card with them because of NO INTEREST purchase offer. I woke up the next month being charged interest because Synchrony bank charges their own interest. Which no one told me when I opened the account. Besides that, I had two different purchases with their card, and I've been trying to pay off the one that expires first just to find out that no operator that I talked to was actually allocating my money towards what I asked them to. So I'm here almost out of time with still a high balance because their bank customer service can't do what you ask them. DISAPPOINTING. I have been rebuilding my front porch on my home due to rotting wood. Lowes #1925 has been by go to store in Cornelia Ga which is almost 14 miles away. Many times I have gone to the store purchasing items sometimes duplicates, sometimes needing more, items not needed, too many etc. My Lowes card has been the primary source of purchasing items but sometimes I have forgotten my wallet so I paid in cash. Today June 9th 2024 I am almost finished in rebuilding my porch and I needed a few things to paint the floor with non-skid paint. I'm 70 years old and afraid of falling on wet or icy surfaces. The reason I want non-skid paint. I gather some items that I knew I wouldn't need to complete my project. Several Items were returned with no issues. I have other items to return but am afraid they will be stolen as well by Lowes #1925. 2 items a sanding sponge and Mini wax wood hardener were issues. I had bought 3 cans of the wood hardener at various times. The csr told me he couldn't find them to return with a receipt. Informed the clerk I had some receipts in my vehicle and receipts at home. Most often I used my Lowes advantage card but at times I paid cash due to leaving my wallet at home. No need to drive 28 miles round trip when I had cash in my pocket. I took both items back out to my vehicle and started looking for receipts. I remember the 2 items were purchased at the same time but I found a receipt showing the mini wax wood hardener. The sanding sponge was not on this receipt even though I clearly remember purchasing the wood hardener, sanding sponge and a few other things at the same time. He never said he needed the exact receipt only a receipt. I took the wood hardener with the receipt I found back to the return desk. Even with the receipt he couldn't find them. Lowes camera caught me twice entering the store with the wood hardener $19.98. The store manager acknowledged that the cameras recorded me twice entering the store with the wood hardener but the receipt I found in my vehicle showed returned. Obviously it was not the right receipt. The store manager refused to hand me the wood hardener backing away when I reached for it. Stating the receipt I had provided showed returned. OBVIOUSLY THE WRONG RECEIPT. Refused to give me my wood hardener, store credit for items I intended to purchase to paint my porch floor. It is an undeniable fact I walked into the store twice with the $19.98 wood hardener. Why did she refused to let me leave with an item that cameras show I entered the store twice? Why did she not tell me to return with another receipt ? She never asked me if I had any other receipts. If she had I would have told her I in fact had other receipts at home. It was my intention to take the wood hardener back home and look for another receipt as well as make my purchases for the day. Perhaps it was the way I was dressed. I had been working on my porch and my clothing showed I had been working. I'm not some derelict. I am in fact a 70 year old honorably discharged Vietnam Era Veteran, never been arrested and in my life I have received 2 tickets. One when I was 19 years old for speeding and one for being on my cell phone. Georgia laws regarding cell phone is different than Texas where I lived for 25 years which allow you to be on your phone if you are stopped. I'm not going to get dressed up to go to Lowes and come back home change clothes to continue working. Needless to say I was furious and the cameras will show I was furious. She stole from me and smiled about it. Let me tell you what this has cost Lowes. The wood hardener was stolen from me by the female who claimed to be the store manager and it is my intention to let everyone know what occurred. Tile has been ordered to tile my kitchen floor. Plumbing has already been installed to switch from an electric stove to propane stove. I'm merely waiting for a phone call the tile is in . It could be next week or a couple of months from now. The tile is from Italy. I need a large quantity of the tile so I'm not going to run to different stores piece meal the tile . I want the same run number for color uniformity. Don't buy Pella windows along with installation from Lowes. Paid 10k for the widows and had to wait about 8 weeks for them to be manufactured. Had to wait about 3 weeks for installation. One window out of 14 was measured incorrectly. 5 weeks later still waiting for the window to be installed plus repairs are needed around 3 windows. The job the installer from Incrediable Installation was horrible. Told the company this guy would not be allowed back in my house. The aggravation to get these windows install is not worth what I paid for them. Lowes does not care! read more

I Asked to talk to the manager the Associate does that for me to find the missing lawnmowers they have One in stock in the back I say great and get ready to purchase when I am told they can not sale it to me because it will be a liability because the mower was on a skid and not in the box. A little Frustrated at this point I ask if they can cut the $200 price down on the same but smaller mower they tell me no so I kindly thanked them for my time and I will be going to a different location to give them my money for a lawnmower. Murphy a so called "manager" lacks so much training in customer service. He is rude and doesn't take the time to listen to your needs and concerns. We bought a washer and dryer and the dryer wasn't heating we had to get a replacement and that replacement wasn't working either. One of the delivery drivers told us they were just pushing stuff out of the warehouse and Lowe's hasn't made any of this right. One of the girl managers said she would give us a $100 off and I haven't seen that or my refund for the dryer. Poor service. read more

Purchased a craftsman 46" riding mower. Got home to unload mower and battery was dead. Called customer service to get a replacement battery and was told that I would have to bring entire lawn mower in and return and purchase a new one. (They can't exchange battery!) This all happened after the fact that I originally purchased a 42" mower and went to load it to find out it had been used. Did not want used or discounted mower so I upgraded to a 46". They lied and never tried to fix it. I bought a $999 dishwasher on Memorial Day. Was told by the associate, Zack, that if I purchased a water line, the installation was free. I did (for another $21.98).The machine came 6/12/21. No installation. They simply dropped it off. The delivery person showed me an email he had received where it said I cancelled the delivery scheduled for 2-6pm on 6/12. I never cancelled the delivery. The delivery truck pulled in at 7:41pm. (They are contracted by Lowe's and called to see if I still wanted the machine). I paid $30 for removal of the old machine (thinking they would uninstall when they did their complimentary install). Wrong again. I called and talked with the manager of the day yesterday - Murphy. He said the install would be $139 more and he could not give me the install I had been promised. Horrible customer service. We have had issues with our new washing machine for almost a year. It has been worked on 7 times and hasn't been fixed. Lowe's customer service scheduled us another service last Saturday and nobody ever showed up. We called Lowe's and they said the service provider they scheduled the service with is only open Monday-Friday and they scheduled it for a Saturday. We will never buy another item from Lowe's again. Worst Lowe's ever. Bought a washer and dryer with pedestals. When they delivered them, the pedestal was all dented so they installed the washer on its pedestal and the dryer by itself. They said they would come back and install the dryer pedestal. They brought the dryer pedestal back finally but broke the washing machine installing the pedestal under the dryer. They kept telling us they would get someone out to fix but never did. I had a dishwasher on order as well, it took me 3 calls to cancel that. Last thing I wanted was them breaking my sink while installing the dish washer. I will never buy anything from them again!!! read more

I placed an order online for curbside pick up. They notified me that is was ready. I pulled up and called the number on the sign. No one has answered for an hour. I stopped an employee walking on the sidewalk and he said he would see about it- nothing happened. I have to say : I rarely post reviews whenever service / goods are within expectation, more or less; however, the delivery service employed by Lowe's gave OUTSTANDING Service and was very praise-worthy while delivering, unwrapping, swapping out and installing our new Whirlpool refrigerator-freezer !! The Customer Service in the Appliance Dept. was also very professional and on-the-ball. The 30 minute 'heads-up' courtesy call while the delivery truck was nearing destination makes a huge difference in preparing the customer & premise help since, oftentimes with a new refrigerator, the delivery replacement is trading out an often broken old refrigerator full of perishables that needs quick emptying and removal, plus a plumbing cut-off valve must be quickly located for ice maker water tube disconnect. I'm in the logistics/customer service industry, and I don't know why more delivery services don't communicate as efficiently as this one. Exceptionally Excellent Service !! read more
