Lowes has all things home and garden improvement, construction materials, appliances, plumbing, kitchen cabinets, flooring, roofing, and more. They even just added a selection of work clothes... I have been repainting the house and doing a few minor repairs. Today I went for paint. There is a display for a whole rainbow of paint colors from which to choose, and a guide to let you know what colors are popular and trending. Once you choose your color, go to the kiosk and scan the bar code on the back of your chosen color. It will ask you a few questions like if you need interior or exterior paint, the finish you want (matte, eggshell, satin, glossy), how many gallons, the brand and particular kind. Then you can confirm your selection, enter your name and cell phone, and you will receive updates as to the progress and when your order is ready for pickup. Well, that is the way it always worked in my past visits. Today there was a glitch, and I never received updates after the initial text letting me know my order was received. I shopped around, and finally went back to the counter to discover my order was ready minus one gallon. So I told the man working there and he mixed the other gallon of paint... I still did not receive updates. This was the first time I have not received updates. On several past visits for paint everything worked perfectly. As I browsed, I saw some great plant deals on clearance but restrained myself ($10 for gallon pots of plumbago!). I did the self checkout, and it's good to know that when you buy paint, you can also scan the color bar code so your account shows which color you bought in case you need another of the same. Overall, a good visit. I got what I needed. Just be aware you may need to double check if you don't hear back on your paint order. read more

Don't expect any assistance at this store! They have the worst customer service and no staff in sight! I've visited this store several times and the service at the different departments only got worse! Expect to waste 20-30 minutes just for an employee to assist. read more

While I was paying for my items I noticed the general manager David Fuentes was noticeably upset... I saw two young ladies ( employees) approach him ... Mr Fuentes went off on them he started pointing fingers at them telling them something about overtime time what if this and what if that .... There was several customers watching this go down ....His actions were uncalled for ... if anyone needs to be corrected it should be done out of sight of customers .... I was at Lowes on University Drive. I approached the Manager Feuntes I believe was his name. I asked give where the light switches were n when he responded a real strong alcohol oder came from his mouth like if he had been drinking, I also noticed his eyes were blood shot very red. I did tell him (WOW) must have partied late last night and he just laughed. I believe that someone like him should have stayed home instead of smelling like ALCOHOL. read more

Everybody's experience could be different and this one is mine. Good customer service for the first time visiting, they were able to help me out and if they did not find the product for me, they would send me to the correct store to find what i am looking for. I think employees at Lowe's rely too much on the button you press to ask for service. We were shopping for a rug and they don't have it in stock. So we have returned a week later and a week later to see if they have it, never have been approached by any staff members to assist. Paint department is awesome!! And appliances as well!! read more

Took me 1 1/2 hours for them to pull my order I purchased online (which only 4 boxes of tile). Unbelievable!! And then......yep, you guessed it, they didn't have the tile. I guess a courtesy phone call to let me know they didn't have the tile is just to much to ask, like the other store did. read more

I called this store to check the status of my order because their website does not give much info about the order's whereabouts, and the employee put me on hold for 20 minutes and hung up on me. I called a second time; I was put on hold for 30 minutes. I hung up and called again, and after 10 minutes they were able to tell me that my order was not at the store on the date that it should have been. I understand the longer shipping times due to Covid, but there's no excuse for poor customer service. read more

The absolute worst customer service and no regard for customer satisfaction. A refrigerator was purchased and the wrong refrigerator was initially delivered. Upon speaking with the delivery person about the error, they stated this had happened before, and "good luck with getting anyone to help fix the problem." The issue was addressed with personnel at the store after which it was stated that the correct item would be delivered the next day. Schedules were re-arranged, children were safely moved to an area away from where the delivery staff would be working, and we waited. No phone call, no message, no delivery whatsoever. The store was contacted, we were issued a verbal apology and assurances that the delivery would take place first thing in the morning. Schedules were re-arranged a second time, and the delivery did not occur until after 2pm. When the delivery was made, the personnel were unhelpful, reluctant to install (wanting to leave it on the porch, rather than finish the delivery and installation), and once the refrigerator was installed, it was done improperly. The doors are askew, the handle to the freezer is unattached at the top, the base grill is missing, and two shelves of unknown origin or function were simply left on the island. One shelf installed on the freezer side has zero functionality and likely is an incorrect part, as screws are installed as holders for something (a FULL shelf, perhaps??) but simple jut out with no purpose. After calling multiple times zero associates answer the phones. This is absolutely unacceptable and appaling. read more

I had purchased an item over $250 and went in to return it. After going through the process, I was left to speak to the manager. I completely understood.
