I came in here earlier this week needing to pick up 6 panels of wood that were 4'x8' along with about 300 pounds of drainage rocks. I don't have a pickup and instead have a large SUV. I was having trouble pulling the panels even off the shelf and onto my cart, and was worried about how I would get them into or even on top of my car before I could bring them home. That's when Craig and 2 other guys at lumber stepped in! At first, I denied help, because I'm stubborn. But I feel like Craig has a daughter just like me at home or something because he ended up convincing me to at least pull the car up to the lumber doors so that I wasn't struggling on my own in the heat of the southern summer. I agreed. As I pulled up, Craig and 2 other guys are already standing there saying they're gonna load me up and for me to not lift a finger! They managed to get the panels into my car with ease along with the hundreds of pounds of rocks and with haste. Something that would have taken me probably an hour to do myself, if I was even able to do it myself, took them no time at all. They were very professional and very courteous and I am BEYOND thankful to them for their help and for seeing past my stubbornness. I appreciated their help more than they know! read more

As a DIYer, I can spend hours in there--browsing, planning, and getting inspired. The customer service is always on point, which makes every visit worth it. read more

I am disappointed to say that my recent experiences with the Lowe's stores in Collierville and Bartlett have reflected a noticeable decline in customer service and order accuracy. Issues I Experienced * Incorrect door order: The wrong door size was ordered, and I had to drive an hour to have the issue corrected. * Paint color mismatch: After showing the paint associate color chips from the store, I purchased one batch of paint. When I returned for more, the new paint was a completely different color. * Incorrect merchandise in a large order: I placed an order for more than $1,300 in merchandise, including beadboard paneling and B-I-N primer. However, 10 of the boards were not beadboard, and the primer provided was sealer instead. Because the return window had closed, I was unable to receive a refund, even though the mistake was not mine. * Lack of available assistance: On another visit, I went to purchase panels but could not get them because no employee was available who could operate the forklift. I have shopped at Lowe's for more than 30 years and once considered it my favorite store. Unfortunately, these repeated problems have changed my opinion. With so many other options available, I no longer feel comfortable continuing to spend my money at Lowe's. Based on these experiences, I would rate my recent customer service experience a 0.02 out of 10. read more

Disappointing! With wood prices going through the roof (to no fault of the stores) I'm always trying to save my customers money by looking for the best deal. So...I can pay over $8 for a 2x4 or $5.30 for a "not true" 2x4. I'll go with the lesser for what I have to build. Took me 20 minutes of picking through the "fresh" pallet to get 30 decent (and that's being kind) boards. When I say fresh...I mean, we cut the straps right then and there. This pallet of boards was 90% good for nothing more than mulch and sawdust. Go to pay for them and...what do you know. They're in the wrong spot. They were actually almost $8 each. Totally wasted my time. I left, because I'm not paying that price for garbage. Drive over to the Home Depot around the corner and they have the straightest, cleanest, and incredibly beautiful 2x4's for just over $7. So...what would have cost me close to $250 at Lowe's (for garbage boards), actually cost me $235 at Home Depot (for excellent boards). Seriously, Lowe's? You're slacking. It's like one department doesn't communicate with the other. Employees that don't give a flip about the customer. What's worse? Is that I see that particular attitude with management. Even decent employees can take on a crappy attitude if management sets the tone. The only Lowe's I've had a consistently great experience at is the one in Millington. Clearly better management at that location. read more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. The ladies answering the phones are lazy and rude. Departments when transferred never answer. If you can avoid doing business here, I say run to another store. Delivered a damage washing machine to me and made it an absolute nightmare to get a new one delivered. Management is a joke too. Run. read more

Needed packing materials and so headed to this Lowe's in Collierville. It wasn't immediately obvious from pursuing the boards which aisle this would be located at, and so we had to find a sales who guided us to the right aisle and also helped us with the multiple choices of packing tape available. Checkout was quick too as they'd 3 counters open. Overall very satisfied with available selection and the customer service. Yelp 196/2017 read more

Some of the rudest customer service staff in the state. It seems almost impossible to get help in the store as well. Stay away. Use Home Depot instead. read more

Special thanks to Patrick who spent time with me on some special order stuff. Overall, all of the Lowe's locations have been very helpful throughout the house building project. They have helped load trailers and carts and many other things. It's unreal all the stuff I've had to buy. I also want to thank them for cutting 200' or 4 alt triplex wire off of the 500' roll. This is big wire. It's direct bury aluminum meant to carry all the electrical service to a house or business up to 200 amps. It's not like the wire they roll up on a spool. 200' weighs like 150 pounds and we had to roll it all out in the isles. This was 3 guys working hard for about an hour to unroll it, measure and cut, and then roll it up again. Then one of the guys who was helping me took me to an unmanned register and rung me up. Then he went out to load it on my trailer. Thanks guys! Then I had to come home and dig about 175' of 3' deep trench and bury it. I'm worn out! read more

Yet again, the most ghetto, rude, and horrible service. Put your best employees on the front end. If this is your best, just lock the doors.

I have the 4 words....,PREET, MIKE, CARL, & MARILYN.......Dear Lowe's, you have a phenomenal team working at your Collierville location. They displayed impeccable customer service during my visit. I came in very upset because my fridge had a dent when it was delivered. However, this team was able to locate and have a new one out in 5 days. Thank you guys. I know sometimes you only hear about the negative and not the positive. Yoooouuuuu guuuuuuyyyyyysssssss aaaarrrrrrrreeee the best. read more

do not buy storm doors from them. went in to purchase storm doors from this lowe's on october 25, they came out to measure for the doors and went in and paid for the doors on november 5, was told there would be delays due to demands which was understandable. finally got alerted my storm doors would be installed december 27 (today)...this morning get a text from the contracting company telling me that oops lowes sold me the wrong sized doors and they wouldn't be getting installed....called and canceled my order and got a refund. thanks for wasting two months of my time waiting for storm doors to be installed. now i have to start all over again and hopefully home depot will get it right and not be incompetent like lowe's is!!!!! i'd give them zero stars if i could. update: did the store call and apologize for their mistake? no...did they offer me a discount on the doors? no. the contractor installing the doors had to notify me of lowe's mistake..not them. but hey, look a the fantastic job they didn't do wasting two months of my time! again do not buy storm doors from lowes do not buy storm doors from lowes did i forget to say do not buy storm doors from lowes??? close your eyes and imagine there are storm doors on my doors to my house. want me to revise my review? here's what you do..correct your mistake, install my doors for free, eat the loss and own up to your screwup that took up two months of my life. day 2: still no call from lowe's to apologize for their monumental screw up. gee pamela, you sure called me when things were delayed and when the doors came in but now i haven't heard squat from you or anyone in the store. do i need to take this to arbitration or get an attorney to sue lowe's for wasting two months of my time???? Day 3: STILL NO APOLOGY. STILL NO OWNING UP TO THEIR MISTAKE. MAYBE I SHOULD ALSO CONTACT CORPORATE. read more

This place continues to go down hill, customer service has become a lost art. 6 employees later and no one has been trained to deal with my returned items and 20 min of waiting for someone to come help. I asked to speak with the store manager Reco Watson and he would never come out to speak with me. Then I was given a number to speak with manufacture directly .. basically the Lowe's Employees where saying, "Not my issue' ... I'm 100% done with Lowe's and will be 100% Home Depot and Ace Hardware going forward Signed Lost Customer forever!!! Mic drop!! read more

This place is always lacking workers. You can never get help. Also if you are in a lane waiting to be checked out and they open another lane, instead of telling the next person in line to come over to the open lane they just scream it's open and so if you try and go you risk being in an even longer line. It takes a lot for me to post a negative review. This is not the first time I've experienced horrible customer service. It's becoming a trend at this location. Think I'm going to start going to Home Depot from now on cause this place just plain sucks. read more

I'm tired of going to this Lowe's. The self checkout lanes are always out of service. Today there were 2 checkers open and the lines were a mile long. I left my items on the counter, complained to the customer service desk and walked out. read more

Wish I could give lower. Bought a washer and dryer. The guy that delivered them to my daughter installed the washer where the dryer goes and vice versa. Therefore leaving the washer sticking out due to vent behind it. So he left her laundry doors off as they would not fit back on because washer sticking out. Nightmare. And left it that way. I called and spoke to Michael Spratlin (and was nice knowing he didn't cause it). He said he would call back with appt to send someone back. he never called, so we called them and they said appt was Wednesday. Wednesday came and went with a no show. Called him back and he said He would have to call me back again. I said no please just come pick them up I don't want them anymore (within 30 day return window barely at this point) and he hung up on me. Unbelievable. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE FOR DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION. Especially stay away from Michael Spratlin. I called back and spoke with someone else and in another 2 weeks they are coming to get them. We will see how that goes.... Update: I called the morning we were scheduled for pickup to make sure we were on the schedule. Alice told us we were definitely on and they would be here before 4 o'clock and would call at the stop before hand. Another no-show would you believe it?! I called for o'clock and they said the pick up guys were off for the day. Finally the following day the washer and dryer were picked up. I will say that the guy that came to pick him up was shocked at how they were put in and the doors were left off. He was very nice and apologetic and couldn't believe the way they were left. Never spending another dime here. read more

NO HELP IN THE STORE. THERE'S NO ONE IN ANY DEPARTMENT TO HELP YOU! I finally went up to Customer Service and Pamela was so helpful and empathetic to my situation. She went above and beyond and actually saved me and my situation. Management was NO help AT ALL. They could not even find a manager to help. They paged and paged but no one ever came. Went in on July 6th at 2:30. Many of the Lowe's employees were not wearing masks. In fact, if they did have one on they had it below their nose. When asked about it, the cashier said she was hot. This is disgusting. There are all these blue signs for us to stand and wait patiently. When I asked the cashier without a mask about the store number she kept walking toward us definitely past the six foot range. When had to ask her to stop at about 4 feet. I'd like to hear from a district manager. This is store number 2543! I just looked it up and Shelby County has a county wide mask order. Why is this store manager allowing his employees to violate the law? read more

Completely unprofessional customer service desk. I was on hold for a simple issue for over 30 minutes. The customer service desk refused to let me speak to a member of management. I usually only go to this store if I can't find what I'm looking for at Home Depot. The two times this year that I have went to this store it's been a headache using the self checkout. I went today August 10, 2020, a person had just used the machine and here I come, when I scan my two items the machine locks up, there's a big monitor with my face and half my body and it says security. I believe that any person of color come to that particular store is considered suspicious especially if they have on a baseball cap like I did, I asked the young lady that came over what happened "I don't know" with a smile. She left and had to come back because the machine would not give me my change, I believe this by design to double check and make sure nothing is in the bag that was not paid for but strangely never double checked the person that used it before me. Systemic racism is still alive and well, that's how the town of Collierville and the rest of this country was built. read more
