We recently completed a small bar/kitchen area and bathroom project using tile from Floor & Decor…read morein Memphis, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Before placing our order, we requested several tile samples from the Floor & Decor website so we could see the options in our home. After narrowing down our choices, we contacted the Memphis store and were connected with Marsha Turner, a design consultant there. Marsha was incredibly helpful in pulling everything together. She helped us finalize the backsplash selection, recommended the pencil trim that perfectly complements the glass tile, and advised us on the best grout color so the glass tiles would really stand out. Her guidance made a difference in the finished result. Although we live near Little Rock, the Memphis store is our closest location since moving from California. This is actually the fourth home where we've purchased tile from Floor & Decor, and once again the process was smooth and easy. Delivery also went perfectly. The freight truck arrived with a lift gate, and the driver used a pallet jack to place the tile directly in our garage, which made unloading very easy. We're extremely happy with the quality of the tile and how everything turned out. Many thanks to Marsha Turner and the Memphis Floor & Decor team for their help and professionalism.

Phil in his laid back, extremely knowledgeable manner, patiently explained the entire process of purchasing a Tuft Shed from the history to the warranty. Life happened and we had to put our purchase on hold, but Phil gently reached out to us and respected the timelines we gave him. Phil called and invited us to stop in to see him at the local home show, which is when we purchased our shed. We are extremely grateful to Phil for his product knowledge and his customer service in helping our family purchase the correct shed. We bought a 10X12 shed, which was built on my property with no issues from the contractor. However, a couple of the boards were cut show and we are waiting for those to be install. We actually just used our shed on this past Sunday and saw a bit of sunlight through one of the boards, which I will notify Phil of this week. Other than that, we are pleased and it is definitely meeting our needs. Overall, this has been a great experience and Good Product, recommend to anyone needing a quality shed.

Overdue review for marble kitchen counters and island installed in May 2014. The marble itself…read morewas beautiful. However, the marble backsplash was NOT even close to parallel to wall. Their offer to "fix" it included a couple of teenagers sloppily squirting caulk into uneven gap, which collapsed within 45 minutes after they left. I ended up inserting pieces of wood into gap to support caulk and caulked it myself. This looks okay, but the gap goes from flush with wall on one end of kitchen counter to a full half inch or more gap on the far corner. American Granite assured me this was not their fault, it was because "my wall was crooked." Ummm, okay, maybe this is true but not obvious to naked eye. Even if true, after speaking to other experts in field my gut instinct that this was horrible excuse was confirmed. Original countertop WAS flush with wall, so seems something that should have been taken into account during measurements. I am very trusting and busy person, so made mistake of paying in full up front. Because of this, their management had no incentive to ensure my satisfaction and frankly did not seem to give a s*** about how horrible it looked and how condescending their excuse was. The clearly thought I was an idiot. Not a general contractor, but I am quite intelligent. Only reason I did not take this to court was because not worth time or energy to me just to make a point out of principle. My recourse is telling my story. I have NOTHING to gain, not in granite business and gave up on AGM doing anything to make this right over a year ago. I work in pharmaceutical industry. I have no one else to specifically recommend. I will again say granite itself was beautiful, so may be good source of granite if you can get someone else to make measurements and install. The installation will be done by young men of questionable skills, not the business owner or manager (Mark) who you first meet with. Mark shook my hand, looked me in the eye, and promised the work would be top notch regardless of whether I paid upfront to save myself a trip or held 50% final payment. Mark seemed like great guy until after work was done and his check cleared. I also understand they have many great reviews--which is why I hired them. Just don't pay in full up front, because once Mark is paid he couldn't care less about your satisfaction (actions speak louder than words). Maybe if you threaten legal action, but I did not. I replied and confirmed and told them my leasing office would be authorized to release a key. Tuesday at 1:00, I get an email stating they are cancelling service for today and would come out Wednesday between 9-5. I called customer service back and again it took 20 minutes of being on hold to speak with someone and he said there was an issue at the warehouse and none of the technicians were working today and it was moved to tomorrow. I asked if they could give me a specific time frame and was told no. I asked if they would give me compensation for the delay and issues and was told to contact them after the repair was fixed and they would see if compensation could be given. I pay $57 every month and have never missed a payment and would expect better service than this. I asked if I could have someone else come fix it because I know other companies can get out faster and was told no. If I rent from a company, I expect them to be able to fix it in a timely manner and not cancel midday via email. I've asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they would tell me the same thing. I said I want to speak to a supervisor. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes and he came back and surprisingly there aren't any supervisors to speak too.
